Chicken garden salad

Salad was fresh and tasty and they let me make a few substitutions so I could really get the salad I wanted. only bottled drinks- even water and they charge quite a bit for drinks. The food was reasonably priced.

Very nice, small, and inviting location. Excellent service and food as well. Grabbed a quick Reuben sandwich and it was so big I had to take half to go. Small inside eatting area but there are seats with umbrellas outside for nice days. Highly recommend if in the area.

Great little sandwich shop in downtown Athens. The pastrami on grilled rye was amazing! Broccoli salad was on point. They have beer and wine if you want it too - not much room inside to sit but they have outdoor seating. I'd defiantly go back.

Wildwood Friday supper is so good. It's date night without having to leave town. Steaks are tender and cooked perfectly. Get there early because they do run out of food!

Wildwood Cafe, great vintage vibes & is a very tiny cafe

The restaurant itself was extremely small, with some patio seating. Their menu is limited but the style of the place is quick & easy. I tried the Wildwood salad. For somewhere fast to eat in a smaller town in Alabama, this place is a good option. For the food itself, I could have easily made the salad in about 5 minutes after a trip from Walmart. It was nothing special, but not bad. A good place if on a short lunch break, but not a quality or uniqueness that would compel a special trip.

My friend recommended this place , and I was not disappointed ! I had the Dagwood sandwich , broccoli salad , and strawberry pretzel salad and it was all delicious ! I definitely will be back . This is the half size and it was huge !

This is the best place around to enjoy a meal. Friendly staff with phenomenal sandwich options. Matthew is unmatched on the grill. Insider: The Brunch Burger on toast is the way to go.

Just my all time favorite spot in the entire world. They have it all. If only they did breakfast too. I would eat here daily.

Very small place but a great find. We come to the area once a year and very happy to have a new lunch spot.

I stopped by with a colleague on a recent business trip and missed the part of the sign above the…read morerestaurant where it shows the word "brick" so I had to drive around the block a 2nd time to even locate the place. It was fairly full on a Tuesday for lunch so we had to sit by the front door. The menu is fairly simple and includes specialty sandwiches, salads and soups, a couple desserts and not much else. For as large as this space is, you would think they would serve more food items. Maybe their kitchen is just very small, not sure. The server indicated many of their sandwiches are steamed. I tried one of their sandwiches, the casa grande without olives, with a side (potato salad) and a homemade banana pudding. Sandwich - this is a pretty good sandwich that is moist due to the steaming and a lot of mustard and mayo. They also forgot to take off the olives though. Potato salad - their version is like a German potato salad with some skin showing and plenty of mustard as the base. The problem was it was too chunky with a chunk of potato the size of my fist. This is just too big to bite. Banana pudding - pretty good but very sweet My colleague's sandwich was decent too, but he also had a problem with some soggy bread. The service was decent as both our soft drinks were refilled promptly. Mondays amd Tuesdays are semi slow and they close at 3; however, other days are much busier with live music mostly on Fridays and occasional Saturdays.

Stopped in here for a quick bite on a weekday night. Decided to split a sandwich with my BF and I'm…read moreglad we did because it was a decent size. The whole vibe of the place is very laid back and there was even a live musician playing. It wasn't terribly busy since it was during a holiday weekend -- I'm sure on a regular night it's a lot more active. It definitely seems to be a popular spot in downtown Decatur though. Great to go with a group for a casual night or just with a friend or significant other. Will for sure come to Brick again next time I'm in Decatur :)

I made a recent visit to this Schlotzsky's (in Madison, Alabama) and I had a great experience. I…read morehave not been to any Schlotzsky's location in over thirty years, and I realized that this was a huge mistake while visiting here. The primary reason I came here was because it appeared to be a good restaurant that was within walking distance to where I was staying and I needed to get something for dinner. As I approached, I was pleased with the cleanliness in the parking lot, along with the the Schlotzsky's signage and the pleasant entryway. Shortly after entering, I was surprised to find that I was the only customer inside. This location has a lot of indoor seating available, and there was not a single person here. Since I have not been to any Schlotzsky's location in a very long time it took me a few minutes to consider what I wanted to eat from their menu. The menus displayed inside behind the cashier provide a lot of great options, and I was pleased to see a great number of things I'd like to try. After finally making my selection, a pleasant and professional young man took my order. I was happy that he was very patient with me while I took a few minutes to decide. After ordering, I looked around inside this establishment while waiting for my order. The indoor dining area was well-kept and spotlessly clean. Everything was well organized inside, including all furniture, drink dispensers, condiments, eating utensils, and decorations. Shortly after ordering, a young woman came out to give me my meal. She was also incredibly pleasant, friendly and professional, and she made sure I had everything I needed before departing. After getting back to my hotel to eat, I was really pleased with my decision to come here. I ended up ordering the "Sausage & Peppers Calzone" along with their "Loaded Baked Potato Soup" and a large Sprite. It was way too much to eat for dinner, so I ended up eating the leftovers the next day for lunch. The meal was incredibly delicious. As noted earlier, I have not visited any Schlotzsky's location in a very long time. Clearly this was a mistake on my part. I'll definitely be back to this location, and I'll try other locations as well. To the staff: Thanks for a great experience!

The food is always super fresh and absolutely delicious!! I am constantly craving Schlotzsky's because of how amazing it is - The sauce is so unique and I love the sourdough bread! I've come through the drive thru each time, although I'm sure the dining room is also great! They've always treated me and my family with the most respect and kindness. I would 100% recommend this fabulous restaurant!

I have heard of this restaurant over the years and was excited to try their foods. We were greeted by smiling faces and reviewed the menu and ordered. I asked what was the big seller and was told chicken salad. I ordered a single serving of chicken salad, a grilled chicken on a bun and hubs ordered a Club Sandwich. Inside the restaurant looks dated and smells like old time sandwich bar to me. I could smell bacon when I was ordering out to go foods. Now to the food. I was underwhelmed. The chicken salad had too much Mayo and pickles for my taste. All I tasted was pickles. My grilled chicken was not to my liking due to the black lettuce on my bun. The piece of chicken appeared to be the frozen chopped up and made into a patty type which was not what I thought I was purchasing when I ordered a grilled chicken in a bun. The top of my bun was mashed flat. The Club Sandwich didn't satisfy my husband's expectations. The lettuce had small black spots that are visible in the picture posted. From a taste point of view, it was average. Nothing jumped out. From the time I paid to the time our foods were ready was about 4 minutes if that. The brownie was good but not great. It needed more chocolate taste. The favorite was the peanut butter crispy bar made by Best Maid cookie company. Hubs loved his dessert. I may have visited on an off day. Based on the foods we had, neither of us think we will return. I know locals love this restaurant's foods. Variety is the spice of life.
