A friend stopped by and we got takeout from the Peppered Pig. The restaurant was busy so I was surprised our takeout order was prepared quickly. She ordered the Knuckle Sandwich and it was delicious. I will order that! I tried for the first time the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich since I always order the Grilled Vegetable Salad. My sandwich was good and better the next day! : ) I tried the Philly Fries. They have ribeye sliced thin, peppers, onions, mushrooms, cheddar aioli, and smoked provolone cheese. I like the Piggy Fries better. The Philly was good but not great like the Piggy Fries. I will have to try the Bulgogi Fries one day. If you like eclectic tasty foods, please stop by. There's a little bit of everything on the menu for most people. See you there soon!

No table service: counter only. expect to pay $15 for a burger --no side included, $5 separate side, $4 fountain drink. And when you pay at the counter, buttons suggest 15/20/25% tip on top of that. Not a good first impression for it to be steakhouse expensive even at lunchtime. Peppered Bacon Deviled Eggs cost $5 for two eggs (see pic). Flavor is good, but eggs are a little too liquid--lost the texture of eggs. The story gets A LOT BETTER with the burger(see pic) itself. I was recommended the Bulgogi burger, and even offered a sample of the Korean sauce. Bulgogi sauce was zesty with a small hint of sweet to it; a delicious contrast to overly sweet red BBQ sauce. It was a LARGE 8 ounce patty; you get more than other restaurants. It comes with kimchi on top instead of Cole slaw--i think it's a spicy improvement over creamy slaw. It's slathered with that excellent bulgogi sauce. For me it was too much; it glops all over your hands when you pick the burger up. I ate the patty with knife and pork; even though the toasted ciabatta bun was crispy and delicious. But it normally comes with garlic mayo also: I can't imagine how spicy zesty Bulgogi would combine with creamy mayo, but I'd say order with one or the other, not both! I do recommend this place, even though it's 4 stars. Just know you're paying steakhouse prices at a burger place. Its menu variety is enticing--I'd say 12 Buffalo Chicken Wings for $16 is good value. Their Chicago Dog is $6. Also their Cheesy Sandwich is TWO sandwiches for $11-Im going to get that to go. Conclusion: worth a try as long as you're aware and customize to your own taste, because the size and juiciness of the burger are quality.

This place has the best burgers! The burgers were so big, the seasoning was amazing, cooked to perfection (medium well). The whole restaurant gives a welcoming vibe to all ages. The wait staff is fast and friendly. It was after the lunch rush however the waitress found things to keep busy if they were not helping customers then they were cleaning. It far out there but definitely worth the drive. We will be back!!

Tried this place out while in town for late lunch. Ordered the food at the counter and got our drinks or order number. My husband ordered piggy burger, we split the mac and cheese fries and I got the country boy sandwhich. The food was good and the portions are pretty big for the price. Only issue is not much parking for the location since their are other food places next door as well and construction at the end unit. The place wasn't very busy when we went at 2 pm. The food has good flavor and you could taste each ingredient which was a huge plus for me. They have a fountain drink and to go containers for you to grab when your ready to leave which is nice. We would for sure be coming back here when in the area to try other items. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

AMAZING! Walk - in and order at the counter, daily specials for flavors of fried pies and burger toppings. They have more than just burgers, other sandwich options, salads, loaded fries, etc. ; soda & / options. Ordered : Black and blue burger with black and blue fries : delicious crumbles of blue cheese with pesto, a semi spicy aioli, and tomato. Fantastic! Mushroom Swiss with fries Swiss, sautéed mushroom, & an aioli of sorts YUM Plan Jain add Swiss (Munster, Colby Jack, pepper Jack are also options) or add peppered bacon I wanted to go plain since it was my first time here. Burger comes with your choice of cheese (or none), add bacon or not, Mayo, honey mustard, Bibb lettuce, tomato AMAZING. It's a big a** burger and I ate the whole thing. Shared fries with a friend. The fries alone are worth talking about. Crisp to perfection crinkle cut fries - chefs kiss. The popsicle stick looking thing stick out of the burgers are actually knives to help cut your burger I love the taste of their bun - hope you have a big bite because that is what it takes to get these burgers down! Everything was a good portion size to save some for later! The service was great even through there's not much interaction with the servers. Order at the counter, get your number, and wait at your table. Took around 20 minutes for our food to come out, totally worth it. The only thing I'd change is to help the servers they need tall number holders instead of coaster style - so they are able to tell order numbers This is a laid back, family friendly burger joint seemed like everyone was enjoying. Can't wait to come back and try a fried Grab a beer at the bar and enjoy!

I've been wanting to try this place forever, but their hours were weird because it was a food truck I believe. Recently they FINALLY got a brick and mortar location, with hours that work. I wanted to try so many things, but went with the fire in the hole burger and cheesy loaded fries. The burger was FANTASTIC. I wish they automatically came with fries, but they do not. I would not get the cheese fries again. I think the macaroni and cheese on them is misplaced. But I will definitely get regular seasoned fries. We will be back!

I've never been more disappointed in the food and service. Food is over priced and not appetizing. Burger dry. Deviled eggs- Don't waste your money. Bulgogi fries - just Bulgogi don't

Thrilled to share that I finally got some time to try the new brick and mortar version of the Peppered Pig and it's every bit as good as I remember it from the food truck days! The truck long held its title as my favorite burger in town, and I'm so relieved to say that hasn't changed. The new location has a welcoming, bright vibe to it and a spacious bar with some nice TVs. It's counter order but the friendly and helpful waitstaff do bring your food out to you. There's also a very nicely equipped self-service drink station that has anything else you might need for your meal (eg ketchup) along with accessible to-go boxes. This is a good thing, because you'll be hard-pressed to finish any entree in one sitting. While meals may seem a bit expensive ($20ish for a burger, fries, and a drink), you're supporting local and getting the best burger around that you'll likely be able to enjoy for at least two separate meals, or one full meal for you and a friend. The burgers are enormous, succulent without being overly greasy, and the buns stand up to them valiantly - minimal mushiness or crumbling. The toppings on their speciality burgers are also given lots of care and consideration -- certainly not an afterthought. The mushrooms on my mushroom and Swiss were so savory, rich, and buttery. The fries are solid (crinkle cut, with a light dusting of zaxby's-like fry seasoning), with a crispy exterior and soft interior. There are also lots of loaded fry creations that I'd love to try if I could ever let go of my burger obsession. Lastly, they often have specials for the week of more unique or speciality creations. My mom and I came just so she could have their take on a French dip (amazing, btw). This week they have their version of poke bowl. Seriously, everything they make here is amazing, and the owners are kind and creative folks. Give them a try; you won't regret it!

What is the best burger or sandwich?

Is it a sit down restaurant or just a food truck? TY!

It's a food truck but they have a couple patio tables. I usually eat in my vehicle because my face is covered in sauce by the time I'm done.

They were super busy (and seemingly short staffed) however, that didn't stop them from being Johnny-on-the-spot greeting us, taking our order, and getting our drinks, apps, and entrees to us in a timely matter. Our waitress even kept apologizing for how busy she was, but that sweet lady was HUSTLING!! We got build your own burgers and fries for sides, and everything was hot, flavorful, and the fries were crispy and seasoned, burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked! It's your typical scene when it comes to sit-down burger places, nothing extraordinary, but it was comfy and accessible! Getting 4 stars ONLY because of the price. Our family of 3 getting an entree each, one appetizer to share, and 2 sodas 1 water walked out paying $91 after tip, so, don't go here if you're looking for budget friendly! Aside from the cost, which is comparable to just about everywhere these days, it's definitely worth a try! Lots of options aside from burgers, including salads, grilled and fried chicken AND meatless burger options! So yes, vegetarians, you can dine too! I started out with a Bacon Bloody Mary and told her to make it spicy and the drink didn't disappoint because it was so tasty. I also started out with some fried pickles and I didn't expect the appetizer to be so much food because I ended up taking the rest to go. I ordered a Heat Wave burger and I asked for the condiments on the side and I'm so glad I did because the ketchup and mustard had a heat of spiciest that would've made my burger really hot to not be able to eat. The only reason for the 4 stars is because you have to purchase your side items separately which doesn't include on the burger, but I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants a good burger.

My Sorority Sister and I went there after my hair appointment around the corner. Last time I was here, my group of sorority sisters enjoyed their house made BBQ chips, Montreal poutine, Asian ribs, and fries. The poutine and ribs were bit hits for our group of four. I recall the giant pretzel I had on my visit here with my coworkers. It came with the bro jo beer cheese dip that I recall being delicious and my Sister and I decided to order the Bacon Wrapped Pretzel Bites app., which is described as "bite-sized pretzel pieces wrapped in bacon with hot honey and bro jo cheese sauce." I typically don't like sweet anything, and I did not care for the "hot honey." If you don't care for sweet either, ask for the sauce on the side. As it was I could sort of cover the sweetness of the honey sauce with the cheese dip. The bacon was cooked well and managed to stay crispy, which was good! We split the Cheesesteak sandwich described as "thinly sliced grilled ribeye, sauteed onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms in melty white American cheese served on a toasted hoagie roll with a choice of side." We went with fries as the side and 86d the mushrooms. Thank goodness for the fries, which were good! This sandwich was a crime against sandwiches! If you've ever had the unfortunate experience of eating Steak-umms, then you know what I'm talking about! I think Ale's Kitchen86d all the toppings except the cheese so we had basically Steak-umm "meat" and some cheese. Ale's Kitchen is in a brewery, Straight to Ale, and I'm happy they do offer two wines: a chardonnay and a red blend. I again had the chardonnay which was, as I recalled from the last visit, flavorless. The staff were friendly, efficient, answered questions, ensured we had everything we needed, were overall kind, and our orders were promptly prepared and delivered to our table. We were served a giant grilled chicken sandwich. It looked delish. That was our bad too. The chicken looked like it had seasoning on it, maybe it was just crud from the grill, but this was definitely an unseasoned piece of chicken. We both ordered grilled mushrooms and onions. Those didn't even help the flavor. We moved on to honey mustard, trying to save the sandwich. Unfortunately, the sauce did nothing but make the bun fall apart. We now had a flavorless mess to deal with - eat it or trash it. My husband chose "eat it" because he hates to see food wasted. He complained with almost every bite. I chose "trash it" - I'm too old to eat things I don't like. There were numerous sides available - fries, tots, o-rings, cheese curds and fried pickles. We opted for the rings to share. For just over $4, we received 6 onion rings. They weren't anything special at all - just a rip-off. My husband and I have gotten into the habit of rating every meal - luckily he's generous with the stars when I'm cooking! We had waffled a little but decided on a three. That's until we went to the restroom to wash our hands. The woman's room obviously hadn't had a good, deep cleaning in quite some time. It's beyond the point of a couple paper towels and a bottle of windex. My husband said the men's room wasn't the best either. That three stars suddenly became a hard 2. Wayback Burgers is convenient for us, their loyalty program is pretty straightforward and coupons are not too difficult to find.
