Excellent service that was friendly and fast. Burgers and tots were good, but wasn't impressed with the onion rings. Looks like a good sports bar to hang out.

This little dive bar is serving up the best Reuben Sandwich that I have ever had outside of New York. The onion rings are perfectly crisp as the batter holds on to the onion for that perfect bite! Mrs. Conrad tried the chicken bacon melt sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. Perfect batter and crunch again. Thank you Jarrod for exceptional customer service and doing a phenomenal job holding the fort down by yourself! #huntsville #hsv #food #dinersdriveinsanddives #jamesbeard #awesomesandwich

This is a smokey locals joint where young and old come together for sports, darts, bar food, cold beer, cocktails, and shots. The smokey establishment has a jukebox and billiard tables if you get bored and are looking for a challenge or just want to let off some steam. The bartenders insist you sit at a table where they will bring you your drink of choice if you dont intend to sit at the bar. I dont particularly care for it as I like to deliver my own drink of choice to my own table the moment my drinks are made. Different strokes for different folks. *shoulder shrug* The food is pretty decent. I havent yet received any bad food here. The atmosphere is...what you make of it. Located in a plaza with many other food establishments and plenty of parking. The restrooms I will say are pungent and need a haulover, but it is a bar so....deal with it? Staff is pretty adequate. Not sure I've ever seen one smile but adequate nonetheless. If this is a pregame spot for drinks you will smell like the Thirsty Turtle for the remainder of the night. Food for thought.

Cheap drinks and it's a nice, relaxed spot. But the smoke is almost too much. Decent food for cheap prices.

The chicken skin kept falling off the meat, the sweet and spicy chicken was way too hot, almost unbearable to eat for my girlfriend. And then the Caesar had too much anchovie taste which wasn't good. The Brussels sprouts needed to get cooked longer too. Overall it wasn't bad but not enjoyable, but corporate needs to change it back to the old chicken recipe.

They try enjoy the area occasionally to make the best of each moment and this was definitely a place for save in the "Favorites" collection! To begin with the atmosphere was inviting and modern. Photo op walls are the best, as well as detail oriented interior design down to plating. Hubby and I shared a half chicken of the honey dusted chicken and it was mesmerizing. Tender, not dry, seasoned just enough with their "bee dust," and sides were great as well. A lot more Brussels sprouts than I expected but was able to share, would probably get the fried okra next time. Biscuits for a cause and preserves I give a 7/10. The fruit was pretty runny, not like a jam, although the butter was great. Texture of the biscuit could be worked on but it wasn't dry or bland, just different which is why trying things is important! Don't know until you find out. Overall, pleasant service and meal after our convention!

It was very busy for a Thursday and opens at 4:30 for dinner. It's in the Lincoln Mill and entrance is right next to a coffee place, but right up front & easy to find. We ordered the brisket fritters (4 panko crispy balls of chopped brisket mixed with chihuahua cheese blend, topped with Japanese white sauce) & the crispy Brussel sprouts (tossed in hot honey, yuzu & tamari glaze). There were enough brussel sprouts that they could easily be a side for everyone at our table. Both were cooked perfectly & flavors amazing!! For our entrees, our daughter ordered the tempura crab sandwich, my husband the bulgogi cheesesteak, our granddaughter the chicken fingers & Mac & cheese, myself & son-in-law, the brisket burnt ends and the beef tallow fries & the creamy Ginger Serrano coleslaw. We all enjoyed our meals & will definitely be back!! Wanted to order dessert, but we were all too full!! Highly recommend the brisket burnt ends!! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu & very attentive. Really enjoyed everything about this place!!

We were greeted promptly but didn't see our server again - I'm sure she thought that we were going to order from the QR code which was a very reasonable assumption, except the QR code didn't work - only part of the menu was available We finally tracked her down and placed our order. While we waited (and waited) for our food, my husband poured his beer from the wall while I waited (and waited) for my soda. I finally went to the bar to get my own drink. Coke Zero is kept in the back so the bartender had to leave the bar and walk to the kitchen to get my drink. Asking for a refill was wasting breath - I asked for one but never received it. We waited (and waited) for our food. A server tried to give us someone else's chicken tenders but gave up after the second try. We were able to track down our server to check on our food. About 5 minutes later, we finally received our apps - mac & cheese bites (husband liked, I didn't) and fried pickles (I kind of liked, husband did not). I usually really like fried pickles but these were undercooked and not hot. Even if I had wanted them redone, our server was once again AWOL. Our sandwiches came right after we received our apps. I failed to read my previous review. I reordered the Turkey Gouda which I didn't like first time around. This time it was toasted perfectly. The problem? It was literally dripping with the cranberry aioli. This spread was only aioli in name. There was absolutely no creaminess, it was just jelly. Way way way too much jelly. I tried to scrape it off but since it was on both sides of the sandwich, removal was nearly impossible. This sandwich is definitely on my "never order again" list. (But then, I don't plan on coming back). I ordered onion rings as a side. I was served a couple of onion rings that were good but the rest of the onion rings were not rings, they were clumps of rings welded together. I did send these back. The replacements were so undercooked that the onions were nearly raw. My husband ordered the Burger. He did enjoy his burger but agreed that the poor service and overall quality that two visits were two too many.

Anyway, this business is off Whitesburg Drive right next to Bonchon; iirc they're owned by the same folks but I might be wrong. The parking lot is a little hard to navigate. I went for a treat after getting my hair done about a week ago. The menu most heavily features Japanese style soufflé pancakes, which are a good bit thicker and pleasantly jiggly compared to American pancakes. They also offer croffles, or croissant waffles, usually in the form of a sandwich for a more savory option, a couple of croffle eggs benedicts, and other desserts such as burnt-top cheesecakes and I thiiiiiink maybe macarons and rolled cakes with cream fillings (think Swiss cake rolls). They have coffee and a few speciality lattes to drink as well. The inside was very clean and modern. It was pleasantly busy but despite seating being pretty limited I found a spot easily enough. You order at the counter but an employee will bring your food to you when it's ready. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. The person who took my order was pretty surly and disinterested, but the man who brought my food out to me and was bussing tables went out of his way to say a friendly few words to me and check in. I ordered the tiramisu soufflé pancakes and an iced Nutella hazelnut latte. Both were quite pretty to look at and came out quickly. The latte was pretty sweet, which is how I like them, though not sweeter than the tiramisu pancakes -- I'd say an appropriate level of sweet for a more dessert-y coffee drink. The pancakes themselves were, well, fluffy. They are quite different from American style pancakes but certainly have their own merits; subtly sweet, bouncy, and fun to eat. These came with a sort of chocolate syrup/drizzle in a pot for personal portion control, a sprinkling of pretty and ripe blackberries and raspberries, and a sweet and creamy sort of tiramisu topping. It all melded together into a decadent but not cloying meal. The order comes with two pancakes and I thought that was plenty to eat given how rich it was, though I did find it a little pricy. Overall, I'd recommend this place as a good option to try soufflé pancakes -- I don't think they can be found elsewhere in Huntsville, so if you're curious, give them a go. I don't know if these are the best representatives ever given my own inexperience, but it certainly beats never having tried them at all.
