I had the brisket Philly cheese steak. The meat was so tender and had a lot of cheese. The sweet potato fries were delicious too. My husband had the chuck which is a double cheeseburger with onion rings. The onion rings are beer battered and crispy. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table when it is ready. Soda and iced tea are self serve at a drink station. Y'all I went to Cash & Jack's where the BEST sweet potato fries are! I had the best sweet potato fries ever at Cash & Jack's. They were absolutely delicious! 5/5 Dave and I went to C&J with a friend who recommended the restaurant. Dave ordered the Philly on a hoagie with sweet potato fries. I tried his sweet potato fries and went nuts asking for more. They were great. His Philly made with smoked brisket was loaded with meat and exceptionally great. 5/5 I couldn't figure out what to get so I got the double bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. The cheeseburger was two large hand patted burgers. I had to remove one in order to eat my burger in public without looking ridiculous trying to shove the big burger in my mouth. The burgers were cooked well, cheese melted well, juicy and very tasty. 5/5 The onion rings were made with real onion slices. They were delicious and I received several more than any other restaurant has ever given me!!! 5/5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is attached to a drug store. There is limited seating and most people get takeout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I saw people place their orders and then go to the drug store to shop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sweet little spot tucked away in Athens.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd been wanting to try the food ever since seeing some particularly mouth-watering pictures of the food, so I jumped at the chance while spending some time in the area recently. I visited for lunch on a Friday in August at around 12:30 while killing time before an appointment. It was Friday during peak hours, but MAN, they were busy and the space inside is pretty limited. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will admit feeling a touch claustrophobic and germaphobic -- not due to a lack of cleanliness on their part, just so many people packed in so tightly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is somewhat surprisingly (to me, at least) connected to a small drug store, which gave it a sort of old timey feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You stand in line and order at the counter off a tidy blackboard menu. The line moved at a steady amble and the girl working was very sweet when I got to the front. I order a chicken avocado melt (sans avocado -- lol) with sweet potato fries and a tea to drink. I did ultimately manage to snag a spot to sit. Although the line to order moved at an acceptable pace, I will say, the wait for my order was...pretty long. Long enough that I started getting a little worried about making my appointment. At least 25 minutes, maybe more like 30 -- unfortunately I delayed too long writing this review to remember exactly. Just as I was about to get up to ask if I'd been forgotten, my food was delivered in the manner all their food is -- to go, in a styrofoam container. In their defense, they were apologetic about the wait time and they were most definitely slammed. I managed to eat quickly enough to make it to my appointment, so I'm not that mad about it. The food itself was satisfying! The chicken inside the melt was seasoned and cooked very nicely and came in large, neatly cut chunks. The Swiss was also nice and melty. I wish the bacon had been a little crispier and that the ranch had been put on the sandwich rather than sent as a dip, but I get wanting to avoid sogginess and whatnot. The sweet potato fries were a generous portion and scratched a craving I'd had for a while. Overall, I like their menu and their approach to a slightly healthier, fresher option for lunch. Would definitely return and try additional dishes. They do a lot of call-in/carry-out so u might try that some day to make sure my food is out on time. Give them a visit! read more

Really great food! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the portions are very generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. It's a great mix of quality and value. The building itself was kind of cold and we had planned to dine in, but food is given to you ready to go so we took it to our hotel room and were pleasantly surprised with delicious food. I had the loaded fries, they didn't have brisket so they asked me if chicken would be okay and it was delicious. My husband had one of the bowls and was also impressed with his dinner. read more

Best fast-casual food in Athens! My go-to is the Hula Bowl (rice, sweet chili sauce, a protein, and fried jalapeño slices), but you can't go wrong with anything from the menu. The sweet tea is great and we love the patio seating on a nice day. Indoor seating is a bit limited, so keep that in mind during peak hours if you're wanting to dine in. Unassumingly stumbled upon Cash & Jacks on our drive home from Nashville to Florida - highly recommend this place if you like fresh food! We had a hard time deciding what to order as the whole menu looks great, but settled on the Really Green Salad with steak & the Hula Bowl with steak . Our food was excellent, the service was top notch & staff was super friendly! A very quaint lunch spot wedged next to the pharmacy, it's a tight squeeze especially when there's a lunch line to the door, but it's worth it! I ordered the the Tex salad with chicken with cajun ranch, and it hit the spot! The inside was packed, but there was outside dining tables available (granted, I wish they had umbrellas at the tables, but that's just me). Stumbled upon this gem in our travels up Interstate 65. Food was excellent and there was ample outdoor seating to enjoy a wonderfully breezy spring evening. My burger was perfectly grilled and the toppings were fresh. My husband enjoyed the Tex-mex bowl and said it was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. We visited here for a quick lunch after a road trip. We weren't expecting much from a rushed lunch choice, but the food was delicious. Everything was served fresh and hot. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection. It wasn't oily or dry. The hula bowl was tasty. It had freshly fried jalapeños, nicely cooked shrimp, cheese, wild rice and pineapples. They provide a cauliflower rice option for those who don't want too much carbs. I highly recommend the sandwiches too. I have a meeting to go here for a while, and I got to say it exceed my expectations. The service here was first rate, Everybody was polite and professional. The location was clean and very nice on the inside with limited indoor seating. The food was very good. Lots of flavor. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger. Other wise known the Chuck and the french fry portions were bigger than I expected. The burger was cooked my specifications and the bacon was done, which was a surprise cause most places only halfway it. The only thing I had a problem with was the young lady behind the counter had a little bit of an attitude because I only tipped her two dollars. All she did was take the order she didn't serve me. She didn't do anything else, so that was a little bit of a disappointment. Had I've been eating in I would've tipped a full 20% like I always do. Overall a good place to eat.
