    BBQ Dog

I got the Raspberry Beret cocktail and BBQ Dog. You know it's good when the worst part of my meal was I had to lick my fingers. The BBQ Dog was so delish and fulfilled my dog cravings. The bacon and crispy onion on top were everything I needed. My cocktail was so good I sipped it for a good 20 minutes. *validates parking

    Chicken, Bacon, Avocado Wrap

We've been in a couple of times, but this was the first time we decided to eat. It's a really cool building. Our preferred spot is at the bar near the front, especially when the rollup door is open, but there are cool spots throughout the space. Service is always good, and the owners seem pretty cool (we had a chance to chat with them on one of our previous visits). I ordered the chicken-bacon-avocado wrap, my wife ordered the Falafel Buddha Bowl, and we split the fries. The wrap was pretty good, with its soft naan and pleasant combination of flavors. The real star is the garlic aioli! I wish the bacon were larger pieces, but overall, the wrap is a solid choice I would order again. The fries were piping hot! They were cooked and seasoned well. Once again, the garlic aioli stole the show. Although I didn't taste it, my wife really enjoyed her Buddha bowl and said the Falafel was pretty tasty.

I thought WildWood was cute - and had super high hopes for our lunch. I had the chicken bacon avocado wrap (in naan), Baby had a hot dog. Both were pretty good, but not as good as we hoped. I am not a fan of the bacon tiny bits (see wrap pic). The CBA wrap had great chicken (excellent crunch)...though the naan felt a little thick for a wrap. Baby thought the Wildwood hot dog was fine. I had a bite...felt a little "wet" and too sweet for my taste. Beautiful building...speedy and friendly service. Would, potentially, go back.

We were craving hot dogs. And since Costco no longer serves the Polish dog. Needed to find something else. There dogs are great. I forgot the names of them. But for the price and quality it was amazing. Also the falafel was a surprise. My goodness. So much flavor. Probably the best I've ever had. If you want a quick good quality bite to eat. At a super chill place. Than come here and check them out. I'll be back for sure

Had me acting like a glizzy goblin. Food, service, ambiance all were amazing! Lovely rustic atmosphere with a bar that opens up to outdoor seating.

Food - This place adds the GRUB in grubbilicious! The falafel is second to none (a must). The dogs are elevated and delicious. My favorite is the simplicity of the box dog. The sweet roll bun paired with the sweet of the relish and onions was perfect. Absolutely what I want in the dog. The wildwood dog is a messy plate of mustard, kraut, and grilled onions (messy in a good way!) Drinks - Creative, tasty cocktails that last more than a few minutes to drink. Good beer selection. Some bubbles if that's your thing. Service - Great. Helpful and nice. Vibe - Checked all the trendy, log cabinny, outdoorsy boxes!

This is a cool little spot. Really enjoyed the service as it was friendly and they have a very large outdoor fire pit.

Came here two times that really stood out…read more Came here during open hours at night for some beers. The bar was closed and a gentleman told us they were closing early to promote morning coffee drinkers. It doesn't have to make sense to me but that left me a bit puzzled. We were given drink tickets so as far as customer service I appreciated the gesture. After the gym my girlfriend and I were craving breakfast burritos and felt like coming for coffee. It has rained last night and all the seats were wet, and they decided to pressure wash the indoor seating as well. A lady at pacific roots gave us paper towels to dry off seats. Next we tried to order breakfast burritos... they were running 30 minutes late, and coffee is only served weekdays. Customer service was really good but it seems that management is doing a poor job. I hope to update this review with good changes in fixing their online posted hours and maybe figuring out how to make their business run smoother, they have good employees who seem to make things work.

Ponch's Place is also a food truck lot, currently hosting four mobile kitchens. Two were open during my late afternoon, mid-week visit. Seating comprises picnic tables, many under cover on their patio with some out in the open near fire pits. Parking is expansive although the lot obviously serves VRCCO patrons and employees too.

That said, Ballers is right next to 10 Barrel Brewing and just a stone's throw from another tap house/food truck lot at Ponch's Place. And just down the road from the indoor pickle ball place (which I haven't been to so I can't say what it offers). Terranaut Brewing, Bridge 99 and other joints are nearby too. We'll see how it all plays out but the local area might now be saturated. Good selection of beer and wine plus a full bar with signature cocktails. Prices are standard. The tap house has a large, fairly sterile seating area with tables and a bar. The courtyard sports the usual tables, couple of firepits, no umbrellas (yet). Dog friendly including a doggie treat station. There is also an upstairs area with a roof (so it's not a rooftop bar). The whole area - minus the upstairs - is accessible to the mobility challenged. Six food trucks to start with. As they tend to relocate themselves from time to time, I'll not bother listing them and just say the assortment looks pretty good right now. Check the tap house website. Love the restroom arrangement. Five (or is it six?) individual M/F stalls with a gender-neutral wash area. Efficient. I like it. Getting to and from might be a traffic challenge over the next year what with the Butler Market/Wells Acres roundabout construction (detour takes traffic on to Brinson Blvd).

The owners closed up shop downtown and created this new place on 2nd Street in Bend's Central District. It's now called Dogwood at the Pine Shed. Why Yelp won't create a new, distinct page for the Pine Shed is beyond me. That said, the Pine Shed is a fine place for drinks and food truck fare. The open, spacious 'shed' has plenty of varied seating surrounding a nice bar with quite a few tables outside on the patio. Mobility-challenged folks have choices too. For those worried about 2nd Street's reputation for sketchiness, don't be. Revitalization efforts by the city have transformed the area. At times of good weather, with the big doors open, the Pine Shed is quite a nice spot to relax. Cocktails were the raison d'etre for the former incarnation of Dogwood and that emphasis transfers here to the Pine Shed. I particularly like their versions of a margarita but the other cocktails are uniformly good too. The beer tap offerings are not so spectacular, however, with only four (and a cider). On one visit shortly after they opened for business, two beer taps were tapped out, which can be chalked up to growing pains. In any case, the Pine Shed can't be seriously regarded as a tap house in the style of the many others in Bend (On Tap, River's Place, Crosscut, The Lot, The Podski, Midtown Yacht Club, etc.). Come for the cocktails. They do offer low ABV and zero ABV drinks. At present, the food truck choices are abundant and pretty decent. Being trucks/carts, and thus mobile and prone to relocating themselves, I'll not list them here. Best to check the Pine Shed's webpage for current offerings and then go to the relevant Yelp page for reviews. Parking is street only, no parking lot. The city has completed construction on 2nd Street so there are more spots available than before.
