Jan has provided our family with consistently excellent service over the years. Keep up the great work, Jan!

After hearing one too many horror stories about malfunctioning dryers ending in fires (yikes) I realized I should probably get our dryer vents cleaned. We hadn't had them cleaned in the 3 years we've lived in the house & no clue what the previous owners did (although Jan confirmed during his visit that it's unlikely that they had them cleaned). A quick Yelp search confirmed Wildman Jan was my man. I called him and arranged for a visit for that week. He showed up exactly on time, an anomaly in the home services world, & got to work cleaning the vents in both our laundry rooms. Jan definitely knows his business and even provided a bunch of helpful tips for getting the most out of my washer & dryer (& staying safe). 3 hours and $200+ later our dryer vents are clean and good for a few years. A few years from now i plan to place another call to the Wildman for our now bi-annual dryer cleaning. read more

Mr. Wildman is so nice, professional and knowledgeable. His prices are VERY fair and reasonable. I called him for a cleanout and he spent a lot of time coming up with a better solution for my venting than previous contractors had thought of. He solved a major problem for us and our dryer works so much better!!! Highly recommend. read more

I can't say enough about Jan Wildman....he certainly is the Dryer Vent Pro! He was prompt , professional, and extremely courteous! He was very thorough and neat with his service. Thanks for explaining your findings, and also making great recommendations to avoid issues with our dryers. I'm glad you even provide your service to even Lincoln Park single family homes. See you next time Jan! read more

Initially, we contacted Jan to clean out the dryer venting because you never know what the previous owners did, or how often they cleaned and so forth. Unfortunately, we quickly learned that the previous owners had a busted vent piece IN the wall. So, when Jan went to clean the venting - he could get his cleaning brushes all the way down but had no suction for cleaning. (that sucked, ba dum ching) After coming back a few days later, he came prepared with all of the necessary supplies and went to work. He's a very friendly, informative fellow. He works hard and doesn't take advantage of people and the situation they may find themselves in. Jan was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him for anyone to have their dryer vents cleaned. You never know what expected/unexpected issues you may encounter! For us, we were expecting to have a regular cleaning and it turned out to be much more. I'm very glad we called him. As for what he did for us in our new place: -Cleaned the dryer vent in the dryer. -Cleaned the dryer venting from the back of the dryer to the vent outside. -Replaced a broken flapper on the outside of the house. -Replaced/repaired the broken venting inside the drywall. -Installed a dryer box to allow the dryer to sit further back while allowing for proper ventilation. -Cleaned out the lint accumulation formed inside the wall due to the broken venting. -Thoroughly explained everything he needed/wanted to do in order to make the dryer work properly. read more

Wildman Dryer Vent Pro was recommended to me and I now highly recommend them too. Jan Wildman is flexible, does good work and his pricing is reasonable. Next time I need any service related to my dryer done I'll be calling Wildman Dryer Vent Pro. read more

This is a shout out for Jan Wildman owner of Wildman Dryer Vent Pro. He did an amazing job cleaning my dryer vent. My dryer is like new! He doesn't rush, & takes everything apart & makes it spotless. Jan was on time, wears booties on his shoes, & cleans up after himself. He carries parts with him & is very conscientious about his work. His prices are very fair & he even gave me tips on how to keep my washing machine immaculate. I will definitely be calling him yearly. Thank you Jan!! You are truly a gentleman & a pleasure to do business with. read more

Jan is fantastic. On time and thorough, and explains what he's doing and why. This is the second time I've used him, and I'll continue to use him in the future. Highly recommended! read more

Far exceed my expectations and highly recommended. Jan is great. He explained everything he was doing, and everything he found and why. Unlike most "dryer vent cleanings" he actually cleans out the entire dryer vent line and opens up the entire dryer it self and cleans out all the built up lint inside it and makes sure the unit is in good shape. It is clear that he is an expert is all aspects of the dryer and dryer vent process. I asked him to take a look at my fridge as well to make sure it was clean since we have a dog and just like the dryer vent it was full of dust and dog hair. For $25 extra he cleaned up the condenser to look like new. Dont hire the $50 special dryer cent cleaners off the deal of the day websites, they will just scam you and try to upsell unneeded services. You have your answer right here Jan is your man. read more

I am guessing that they are out of business. I emailed them and did nor receive a response. I waited 10 days, then called and left a VM. It has now been three weeks. I am going to move on and find someone else.. read more

I called two different times, two different weeks to inquire about replacing my dryer vent. Never received a call back.

Jan was great!!! I had called several other companies before contacting Jan & had received quotes as much as $250 just to clean out my dryer vent. Jan is timely, professional (wore shore covers inside my house) and an educator (instructed me to limit us of fabric softener to only the winter if possible as it builds up on the dryer lint trap screen). read more

We had just bought a house and after a week the dryer stopped drying. After watching youtube videos and trying to clean the vent myself, I broke down and called Jan. I am very happy I did! He discovered that the vent pipe was disconnected behind my walls and discovered a huge pile of lint/dryer sheets deep inside the fan of my dryer. He was able to fix everything and was very detail oriented and professional. Prompt and very reasonable $$. I highly recommend his company if you need dryer help. read more

Roberta G. Wonderful, prompt, professional service. Everything was done perfectly from the dryer vent cleaning, installing a new vent outside and fixing an existing vent in the home. Alan was very friendly and put everything back in the same order as it was before he completed the work. I would definitely recommend his company and will use him the next time we need our dryer vent cleaned again. Thanks Jan for a job well done! read more

I work in the service industry and this guy was great. He was very prompt and did an exceptional job with my less than ideal situation( hadn't had vent cleaned in 14 years and it was disconnected). He also repaired some other things he discovered along the way.. This was a great experience! read more

My wife called a few places to get quotes to have our dryer vent cleaned and Jan gave a good price and was avilable the same day in the afternoon. He catered to our work schedules and arrived promptly at 4:30 as my wife had scheduled. Jan was knowledgeable about our new washer and dryer and provided us information how to take better care of them so they last longer. He was very professional and courteous in discovering the source of the issue which was not straight forward. Once he found the correct outdoor vent (there are many on the outside of our condo building), he quickly identified our issue and proceeded to clean out the vent. Immediately after that the dryer began working correctly. He even checked a few of the other vents from the outside just to make sure there was not another issue that could cause problems. My wife is happy now and can do laundry again, which makes me happy (happy wife ...). read more

Can't say enough good things. This guy is an expert. Seemed to know exactly our problem and all of the details about our dryer model over the phone. Showed up on time and sure enough, he was exactly right. He fixed the problem (added new connections between wall and dryer) and thoroughly cleaned our vents. I would use Wildman again and highly recommend to friends. read more

We had Wildman Dryer Vent Pro service all the dryers in our building and they did an excellent job! The owner came and did all of them personally, and he was really helpful in giving me tips about how to reduce my gas bill and letting me know what problems were causing my dryer to not work as efficiently as it should. He was prompt, quick, very respectful, and overall did a great job! read more

Jan very professional,he did very good job for us, we'll recommend it Wildman Dryer Vent Pro. Thank you Jan

Far exceed my expectations and highly recommended. Jan is so organized, detailed and thorough. He explained everything he was doing, and everything he found and why. It is clear that he is an expert is all aspects of the dryer and dryer vent process. This includes a complete cleaning of the inside of your dryer where all kinds of dryer lint is in places you won't have realized existed. I tried to clean my own lint trap inside my dryer a few years ago and lost one of the screws after I thought the socket was stripped and could no longer engage a screw. In checking my dryer, Jan noticed this and promptly used his own screw to make sure it was properly fastened, and got it fastened. This is the kind of person he is. He saw something that could be made better with a simple fix and he just went ahead and did it. I'm shocked he even noticed it at all, let along fixing it unsolicited. I initially considered using a basic duct cleaning service and I am so glad that I found Jan. He is a one man operation so what you will be getting is a guy that cares deeply, probably more than you care about your own setup. That's what you want, a guy that cares more than you do, not less. He knows his stuff, you will save money on electricity and gas after the cleaning and your house will be safer as a result of his visit. Pricing was extremely reasonable. Once again, look no further, this is the guy you want. read more

Wow! This is old fashioned honest service with a smile. Jan not only fixed my situation (very clogged dryer vent and wrong exhaust tube) that could have burned my house down, but also fixed a gas leak. On time, thorough and competitively priced! Our dryer exhaust leads to the second floor of our house, but this didn't pose a problem at all for this company... Will definitely use again in the future. read more

This is the second time we used Jan to clean our dryer and vent. He just gets better and better. Not only is he punctual (he showed up exactly on time!). He is extremely nice and does the most detailed cleaning of any person I have ever had come and clean my vents. He gave us other household tips about or dryer, fabric softener, our refrigerator coils, even our humidifier too! He is a wealth of knowledge, a nice guy, and did a fantastic job. Best of all he cleaned up after himself too! I will definitely use him again and will highly recocomend him to my firiend and family. I had used cheaper places before and they were not worth it at all. It is better to get it done right the first time, and Jan is the right guy to do the job. read more

I hired Dryer Vent Pro sight unseen, something I never do. I had a dryer that needed to be cleaned and found them on Angie's List and took a leap of faith trusting the reviews. Allow me to shorten the gap of your upcoming leap of faith. The owner came, ran his diagnostic, walked me through some maintenance that I should be doing and knocked the job out. He ended up replacing some frayed flexible duct pieces that I had free of charge. He looked at my washer and gave me advice on its long-term cleaning free of charge. This was one of those service experiences that was nothing short of a delight. read more

We found this company by the reviews on Yelp. He did a great job, very knowledgable and extremely helpful. We will defiantly use them again and I got lots of business cards so I can refer them to friends! read more

Jan was professional, timely, and courteous. He explained exactly what he was doing at each stage, since our dryer vent cleaning took longer than anticipated. He made sure the job was done right despite space and height constraints that made the job difficult. We were thrilled to have a functioning dryer again. I would highly recommend Jan to anyone. read more

We couldn't get our clothes dry after several cycles, and we have a brand new dryer. After Jan's work our clothes are done in just a few minutes. He was fast, clean, professional and efficient, and we'll end up saving money quickly with all of the energy savings we're getting. read more

Jan is a superstar in service. He did an excellent job on our dryer vent but also gave me some helpful tips on our washer. I had no idea how to clean or drain a front loader, and he walked me through the steps. Last but certainly least, he told me he smelled gas in our furnace room, and sure enough, we had a few small leaks. I cannot recommend him enough. Well worth the service! read more

Jan is very responsive, knowledgeable and thorough. Priced reasonably and our job came in at less than his quote. Highly recommended.

What a gentleman, and true professional! I think Jan was one of the most professional contractors I have ever had to hire. He cleaned the dryer vent and gave some good advice about appliances in our place. He was very thorough and I would recommend him to everybody. read more

Jan has serviced the vents in our 10 year old home a few times and has proven to be a consummate professional - very thorough, very courteous and very detailed. Best service I have ever had. Jan came out to clean my dryer vent and did a fabulous and thorough job. My dryer has never worked better in the 27 years I've lived in my house. I highly recommend Jan and his services. read more

Jan was fantastic! I had actually seen his van while sitting in traffic and remembered that I was long overdue for the dryer vent to be cleaned out. I contacted Jan via his website to confirm he'd be back in my area and he was available within a week and booked. He was priced a lot better than the last big chain I used 3 years before. He was thorough, explained everything he was doing and found that the vent cover outside under the soffit was letting cold air back into the house, which can ultimately damage the heat sensors in the dryer itself. He had the part I needed on hand and installed it. He even fixed a problem with my front screen door he noticed when he brought his machine in! He provided helpful information on maintenance for both the washer and dryer and left the room cleaner than when he arrived. A wonderful experience all around. I would highly recommend using Wildman Dryer Vent Pro. I know I will be! read more

Jan from Wildman Dryer Vent Pro came out today to clean our dryer vent and did an excellent job. He called at the agreed upon time, then came to our house and did a very professional job at a fair price. He was very careful not to track dirt into our house as he brought in his various tools. He did a thorough cleaning of the vent and additionally did some adjustments to make sure that the vent was working as well as possible. He cleaned up after himself so everything was like before, explained everything that he had done, and then gave me some recommendations on how to keep the dryer working optimally. I was extremely satisfied with my experience with Wildman Dryer Vent Pro and recommend them to anyone who needs a dryer vent cleaned. read more

What a nice man and a great job. Our dryer vents through the roof and he was up and down that ladder a dozen times. His prices were extremely reasonable and he lift out home cleaner than it had been.
