Attached is a picture of the state of our filter, which betrays the quality of cleaning performed by Mr. Duct for $445. Despite changing our filter regularly and per Mr. Duct's guidance, our HVAC unit started making a scary amount of noise. It sounded like fan blades hitting metal. Woke everyone up in the middle of the night and we had to power off the HVAC immediately. The company that came to service found no fault with the unit. Saw the chunks of debris and said they would clean it for free within 12 months if they had performed the initial service. Below is the text from my email to Mr. Duct. No response. The supervisor told me she would hang up, when her logical inconsistencies were pointed out. "Just spoke to Christina, one of your supervisors, who has further underscored the horrendous service customers can expect from Mr. Duct. TL/DR: Debris is expected up to 1 month after cleaning. Big chunks should not be present after the first 30 days. Mr. Duct's warranty is only for 30 days. I did not call within 30 days, so there is no warranty. I asked if she sees the contradiction in the above. She did not. So, either this supervisor's logic is weak or Mr. Duct does not stand behind the quality of their work. Either way, it reflects very poorly. I changed the filter as asked to by your technicians but that didn't matter. The picture I sent earlier speaks volumes. Hence, I will now communicate my experience to others. Potential customers should know what they are getting by going with your company." read more

Kirk was great! He arrived even earlier then expected and from start explained the process how everything is going to go. Since the house is 2 story with full basement, Kirk and I walked to see every vent to insure that everything will get cleaned properly. From the moment I contacted about 10 duct cleaning companies, Mr. Duct were the first to reply and ask questions to provide me with a proper estimate. From all companies, Mr. Duct was the only reasonable estimate we received. The office staff followed up with me and set up an appointment when it was convenient for me. This is a new house for us, which was built in 1978 and the previous owner probably never had his air ducts cleaned, as there was so much garbage, dust bunnies, leaves, etc... that came out. I contacted them about cleaning my dryer vent. They had someone in my area and were able to come out the same day. They removed a bird's nest and cleared out my dryer vent. It took about an hour; there was no hassle or hidden fees. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Not happy. We stopped them as soon as they started. From messaging via Yelp: We also have a viper whip tool that will act as the positive air pressure. It goes about 30 ft into each vent. That will agitate, dislodge, and push all dust, dirt, and debris to our vacuum. So my impression they physically touch all derby in every pipe to lose it. Right? We ordered some expensive NADCA service cleaning as the house never saw the cleaning. So, the technician came and started to clean from the second floor. I can visually pick into the supply line. The register is upper part of the room. The duct goes through the second floor level, first floor and to the basement like 15 feet straight line. But tech inserts the whip only 3-5 feet and refuses to go further. That is not what we were promised. We asked to either do what we were promised or stop the cleaning. So he stopped and said this is all my equipment can do. Also, even with the large vacuum outside the dust was busting into the room when he worked close to register. I guess they should've closed all other registers in order to increase the suction flow. Also, the was only one tech so no help or communication from different sides for the project. At first I was pleased with how quickly I was able to get an appointment. The appointment went smoothly (so I thought) until they left. As I started to walk around the house I noticed that all my of house windows were opened during the cleaning (not sure if this has a purpose in the cleaning process) and they were all left open after they had left. Goodbye A/C. Then, I went outside to see they had removed the duct tape that held my animal screen down over the fire exit in order to get their suction tube to the basement - which would have been fine if they replaced it or informed me so that I could do so myself. Instead they tossed it on my property (pictured) and left the screen displaced (pictured). Our property is high in wildlife and this is overall unacceptable. The clean up is as important as the service provided. Last and most importantly- they did not clean all of our vents! See pictures of dirty vents left behind. My dryer wasn't drying the way that it used to, so had a technician come out and told me that it was suffocating and asked if I got my ducts clean recently, of course I told him yes. Called my association maintenance and he went in the duct that goes from outside and pulled out a mound of old bird's nest remains. Now keep in mind I had a bird screen installed 12 years ago, and got the ducts clean last summer. He asked also when did you get this done told him last summer and he asked if they came back here to clean, told him yes, and how the guy was on a latter and did unscrew the bird screen from vent and everything. He's hooked his head I took pictures of what was left behind. Will not use them ever again. read more

I got on the calendar for a first thing in the morning appointment several days later. Just had MR Duct Clean all my vents with dryer vent done free. They were set up in five minutes....had all the equipment out of neighbors sight and sound. I had my ducts cleaned before, but these guys were SUPERB. They removed cold air return covers carefully. Found I had full blockage of some and cleaned up after themselves. I recently purchased a new home, only to find out a week after moving in that the gas furnace was not working. The outside temperature was 30 degrees, 50 inside, and my young son was sick with a cold. The owner of Mr. Duct was able to find a replacement unit and installed the next day. Hired mr duct to clean our vents. Great service from inquiry to completion. Very thorough. Yes they cut into your ducting but they plug it all after. First time customer discount! They dont use a brush extension like some other companies, but a high pressure air hose with whip attachment. Not sure how well it works but I watched them and they really get some length into the ducts. We had Pedro and Pedro come to do ours and they were awesome. Highly recommend. read more
