Great experience with Duct Masters! I'm in Vernon Hills, Illinois, and I reached out to Roger when I had a problem with my dryer vent. He responded right away and had Chad and John come out the very next day, even though it was Labor Day weekend. They were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, and they took care of the problem. I really appreciate how responsive and customer-focused everyone was. I highly recommend Duct Masters. Great people, great service, and they get the job done! Andy S. read more

Highly recommend Duct Masters! Roger was an absolute pleasure to work with and made coordinating the service completely seamless. Chad and Jeremiah arrived right on time and did a phenomenal job. The service took about 4 hours, and their expertise and thoroughness were top-notch from start to finish. They didn't cut any corners and left everything spotless. On top of their great skill, their humility and professional attitude made the whole experience fantastic. 5 stars all around for Roger, Chad, and Jeremiah! read more

No time like the present to get those ducts cleaned. And boy were we glad that we called Duct Master's. Recommended by a few folks along with the incredible reviews on Yelp, they were our first and only call. I called Duct Masters late in the afternoon on Friday and had the luxury of speaking to the owner, Roger who is an absolute gem. Since moving into a new house and undergoing endless renovations we had to hold off on cleaning the ducts and now that our son is coming any moment now we had to get the ducts cleaned before we can bring him home. I had never called for such a service before, and had no idea what to expect but after calling and hearing about how passionate he was about his business, and how him and his son tackle all their jobs together it's more of an honor for us to hire them. Today we had Jeremiah and Dylan (another father son duo that has been working for Roger & Chad for the past few years). They came in and walked space and got right to work. They were so mindful and clean about everything they did. They tackled each room and were in and out without a trace. We were able to pay with a card at the end, they also accept checks! The price we were quoted was what we were charged and they made the process so seamless. It was great to see our neighbors want to work with them too! Nothing like supporting local family owned businesses and get quality work for the value. A huge shout of to Roger for explaining all of their processes to help me understand what was being done and making me feel more than comfortable that the job will get done before our son arrives. read more

We had a horrible experience with your company. Two men came to our home, tried to tell my husband who was handling the cleaning of our dryer vent only, that they were there to do all the ducts for 200.00. I was quoted 69.00 from Paulette through a text (see below screen shot). They told my husband 80.00, he wrote a check to them for 80.00. My husband had them fill in the payee information which is (see below copy of the check). We were not happy with our experience at all. I put a stop payment on the check, as this seemed like a scam as they didn't do anywhere near a complete job of cleaning only the dryer vent. When I read the reviews and the company profile, I thought it was a great, respectful, mom and pop company that would do a wonderful job and so we gave Duct Masters a try. They did not do as Paulette indicated that they would do, an inspection of the scope of work and then we could decide at no cost if we wanted them to continue to do the work. They were rude, not prepared and did not clean the dryer vent as it should've been done, only about 15% was cleaned. They also did not clean up after themselves before they left. read more

As a first time homeowner, getting your air ducts cleaned is something I previously did not have any knowledge or experience with. I always get several quotes before I select a contractor. From the first phone conversation with Roger to get a quote, it was clear that they were experts in their field. He was really helpful on the call--explaining the equipment used and their process thoroughly so I understood what to expect. The house has two furnaces and a LOT of vents (over 40) and Roger had estimated the project around 6 hours. Roger also gave me a brief history of his company and it was clear they are truly a family-owned and run business that is passionate and cares about the work they do. He wasn't trying to "sell" me anything and the conversation was not transactional in any way. And to boot, Duct Masters was competitively priced so I felt really good about selecting them do do the job. On the day of the service, Jeremiah and Dylan (the other father and son duo) showed up on time. After showing them where the furnaces were they promptly started the prep work. I want to specifically call this out because they care and time they put in doing prep work is important as it was about doing a job WELL and CORRECTLY not just as fast as possible. I shadowed them throughout the day because I wanted to learn as much as I could and they were patient and great in explaining everything to me. They were very professional and were great about taking their shoes off without even being asked. I learned that the home never had their ducts cleaned previously as there were no service points in the furnaces so this was definitely overdue! The amount of stuff cleaned out was remarkable. Jeremiah even took a video (which I've included) and let me just say, WOW. I've also included a photo of "The General" at work so you can get an idea of the equipment. The whole process including cleanup took right around 6 hours as estimated. I am so happy we went with Duct Masters and I would highly recommend them to anyone without hesitation. We will definitely be giving them a call when we are due again for a cleaning. read more

Very professional and efficient. Roger was very helpful and even came out on a Sunday. Since we are a Dog grooming business this was very helpful. I highly recommend them! read more

Duct Masters did an amazing job cleaning my dryer vent today. They were courteous, professional, and very thorough. They didn't cut corners at all and spent a lot of time cleaning the dryer itself before even starting work on the vent. They also replaced the vent hose behind the dryer at no charge, which I really appreciated. Excellent service and highly recommended. read more

Roger and his son Chad run a great operation. I am so relieved I called them prior to moving into a new home. They removed pounds and pounds of dirt and debris from my home's old HVAC ducts, and they even cleaned several older air registers and reinstalled them the next day. They are very professional, knowledgable, communicative, and provide their services at great value. Don't waste your time with another duct cleaning company. read more

Duct Masters - Just a small portion of the dust removed by Duct Masters - Air Duct Cleaning Near Me - Lincolnshire, Illinois

Excellent - top notch! Thorough and professional. Would highly recommend them. Couldn't beleieve how much crud was in duct work.

Disappointing experience. I scheduled with Duct Masters because of the high rating. When I called, the receptionist was very pleasant, and it was easy to schedule an appointment. However, 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment, I received a call to reschedule because the technician had a traffic issue. I tried to be understanding because things do happen in life. So, I rearranged my schedule to accommodate. Well, 30 minutes before my SECOND appointment, I received a call from the technician stating that he was on the way to service my dryer. I explained that I scheduled to have both my duct and dryer vent cleaned. He insisted that he only service dryers and the I must be confused. (He was very rude towards the end of the call and stated that I needed to call another company.) So, I called the company's main number back and asked for clarification. Again, the receptionist I spoke with was very polite and stated that they in fact clean BOTH air ducts and dryer vents. The receptionist stated that my appointment was for BOTH services. The receptionist stated that he was going to call that technician's manager to see what was going on. (I guess Duct Masters outsource.) Almost, 2 hours later, I never heard back from Duct Masters. I am extremely disappointed at the complete disregard and waste of my time. If Duct Masters is outsourcing, there is a HUGE disconnect - which is making Duct Masters appear to be very disorganized and unprofessional. read more

Excellent experience with Duct Masters from start to finish. Friendly, great communication, very respectful of the house, arrived exactly on time and finished when they said they would. They did a great job with the ducts, and left the house cleaner and in better shape than it was when they got here. I had another company clean the ducts 6 years ago and they left a lot of our vents damaged and unsecured. Duct masters fixed the loose vents with new screws and some other materials as needed. We have an older home and the air immediately smelled clean when they were done with the ducts. They included the sanitizing treatment and the dryer vent in the price quoted, no upselling and no unexpected charges. Additionally, I love that they are a family owned small business and one of the owners was part of the two man crew. I would recommend them 100%. read more

Had our dryer vent cleaned by Chad and John yesterday. So glad we did. They found a few issues besides the lint! All good now and dryer is drying in 1/3 of the time. They were both pleasant to work with and very professional. Left no mess, went above and beyond, and pricing was very reasonable! Highly recommend! read more

Last week, I used Ductmasters to clean the ductwork in my 3 story townhome. I cannot tell you how impressed I continue to be with their service. Scheduling the service with Roger was a pleasure. He actually remembered me from previous visits. He was friendly and personable and accommodating to my schedule. Jeremiah and his son, Dylan who actually performed the service, were prompt, efficient, neat, and respectful of my property. They did a very thorough job, including all registers, grills and returns, and the clothes dryer vent. They were were pleasant and friendly and kept me informed of their progress. I did not feel like I was being invaded as I have with other franchise companies I've used in the past. Ductmasters left my house neat and clean and left no traces of their visit, other than fresh smelling air and a pleasant experience. There are a lot of deals out there, but I've found you get what you pay for. I highly recommend Ductmasters and wouldn't use anyone else for this service. read more

This business deserves five stars. Initially spoke with Roger in great detail and when the crew showed up there were no surprises. All very professional, explained everything in detail and if you had questions they would make time to answer them. Nothing short of great. Their pricing is competitive and they go the extra mile for the home owner. read more

We recently hired Duct Masters for duct cleaning and sanitizing after learning that our son had major health issues related to environment. (Most likely from his school but we wanted to be extra sure.) I researched and talked to a few "duct cleaning" services but truthfully the only one that stood out was Duct Masters. I spoke with Roger, the owner, and he explained the entire process in detail. They don't just hook up "vacuums" to suck debris out of your vents but rather systematically start from the top down, literally, to enter each vent and use a special long "whip" to loosen debris and then work their way down to the main unit to blow/suck the debris out. They have a giant, gas-powered unit stationed outside of your house to power their equipment so it's more powerful than anything used inside the house that's plugged into an outlet. I've heard stories of companies bringing in "shop-vac" type units and calling it "duct cleaning"! Not Duct Masters! They told me that on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst, my ducts were a 4 so it was reassuring that they weren't too bad. That's my lay person description of their service. I hope it's accurate and helpful. Then we followed up with a non-toxic sanitizer applied into the ducts to kill pathogens. This was especially reassuring because of our sons health condition. We wanted to be sure the air in our home was healthy. Proper duct cleaning by Duct Masters along with the special air cleaners installed a few years ago by Martin Enterprises HVAC give us the peace of mind we needed to make sure our home air is healthy! Thank you Duct Masters! read more

After reading some reviews, they were the first call I made. I was expecting to set up a time to get a quote. Instead I learned about their process and what to expect. I was asked about the layout of the ductwork in the house and the location of the furnace. Even asked about the dryer vent. Afterwards I was given a range of the cost. (My house is a very common layout.) Next I did something I rarely do - set up and time and didn't call anyone else. They showed up on time and as I was showing them the layout, they were explaining how and what they would be doing. Absolutely no surprises. While they were cleaning, there was no doubt about the pride they take in their work and the results. After they finished they left everything in order. There are a few things I would like to highlight. - Since my furnace was in a closet I knew they would have to drill a couple holes in the ductwork to connect the vacuum. Wasn't thrilled about it but knew it was necessary. When I checked the patches afterwards they were very well done. - I have seen plenty of before and after pictures of duct cleaning and thought they were bs. Well I took a look at the inside of a few of the ducts afterwards and they looked like the pictures. - I didn't think cleaning the dryer vent would make much of a difference. While he did get a thick mat of lint out and show me, I thought well that's good but still didn't think it would make much of a difference. Well I used the dryer afterwards and it made a huge difference. - It has been a couple of days now and while this opinion is very subjective, the furnace and air flow seem quieter. Along with the improved air flow the temperature in the house seems just a little more balanced. read more

Like others, I called Duct Masters based on reviews. When Roger called me, he explained their process for cleaning the vents and hot air returns. As he explained it, the process was much more thorough than our prior experience with another vendor. Jeremiah and Dylan arrived on time and were courteous and professional. They let me know what they would be doing (which was consistent with what Roger explained) and performed the cleaning. They removed and cleaned every vent and return; many of the ducts are in our crawl space. I definitely highly recommend Duct Masters and will use them again when it's needed. read more

Roger was very good in explaining what would happen and gave me a very fair rate. Jeremiah and Dylan came out and did an amazing job they were here for over seven hours! We'll definitely be using them again in the next 5-6 years. read more

Very impressed, Jeremiah and Dillon cared more about doing a perfect job than finishing as soon as possible. The cost for cleaning the air ducts was reasonable and it included the cleaning of the dryer duct , they even installed a small part for the dryer duct at no extra cost. Very professional. Good equipment. Know their business! Got what we wanted at a fair price.

After purchasing/moving into our new home, my wife and I made it a priority to have the air ducts and dryer vent cleaned to improve the air quality and as a safety measure. We chose Duct Masters based on their stellar reviews and on my conversation with Roger on their overall approach. The day of the cleaning, Roger called in advance with their ETA and he and his son, Chad, got to work right away once they arrived. Both gave detailed descriptions of the work they were completing, gave me some HVAC tutorials, and overall were a pleasure to work with. Our air ducts had A LOT of buildup and our dryer vent was basically plugged shut so knowing all of that has been removed is a relief. What was estimated to be a 5-6 hour job turned into 8+ hours since we have extensive duct work but not once did Chad/Roger seem to cut corners to get the job done faster. Overall, we'd highly recommend Duct Masters! read more

These guys were the best - Super friendly and very professional. They left our house in pristine condition. It was a great experience!

I purchased a new home and the HVAC system had not been maintained for many years. This resulted in the return air ducts being full of fuzz and dust as the had effectively been used as vacuum cleaner for over a decade. Duct Masters quickly and inexpensively cleaned all of the supply and return ducting throughout the home. Very much recommend there service! read more

Duct Masters is the BEST!! We had Duct Masters clean our ducts 20 years ago and they did such a good job I scheduled them again this year. Roger set up the appointment and the crew showed up right on time this morning. Chad and Dylan were very professional and cleaned everything 100%. The removed and cleaned every register and cold air return. They use a large gas powered industrial vacuum system that is set up outside. The air hose they snake into every square inch of the HVAC system removes all the dirt and dust. They spent 4 hours making sure the ducts were spotless. I cannot recommend Duct Masters high enough. Excellent job!!! read more

I negotiated the price with the owner and confirmed the appointment. Roger and son came out on time at 9:30 AM. They spent 7 hours cleaning the duct with half an hour for lunch. They brought their own lunch. We have 3 levels that spans across 6,600 sq feet and two furnaces. Roger explained everything to me. His son was enthusiastic about work and fast walk. At a time where kids just want to play, his son is taking after his dad's footstep. Color me impressed! read more

Highly recommend Duct Masters! Our house was built in 1978 and when Roger and Chad came to clean our ducts they told us they had NEVER been cleaned before in the lifetime of our house. Yikes! Clearly, we needed this project done. Roger and Chad were very thorough, friendly, kind, and responsive. They talked me through air flow throughout our house and what they were going to be doing to clean the ducts. They re-worked the laundry dryer vent because it was initially installed in an inefficient way (something they didn't have to do, but I appreciated). They took the time to really do the job thoroughly; these guys are a son/father team and you can tell they really specialize in what they do and are very knowledgeable. This project was done for the health of my older son when we realized we needed to really working on some environmental conditions in our house due to health needs for him. When I told Roger about that, he was great in working with me to get the duct cleaning scheduled in a timely manner, which was really important to me. I loved working with this company! read more

I have heard many company that claim to do duct cleaning are really scam artists so I was weary of hiring a company to clean out vents as I wanted it done right. I called out HVAC company to get a recommendation and they stated Duct Masters is the only company they recommend because they do it the right way. Chad and Jeremiah arrived at our house and spent about 6 hours here cleaning out vents. They took to time to clean each vent individually and went above and beyond what their scope of work was! What can I say about these guys? It's all positive news! They are military friendly, and they had their masks on, and respectful and honest people. And they were even taking their shoes off when the house is still empty! I just bought a new home and I had a feeling those air ducts and dryer vent in this home probably were never cleaned before. And when Roger, Dylan, and Jeremiah showed up, they showed me the nasty filth that was inside my vents. And Roger gave me reassurance that they will do the job correctly, not half-assed and they charge you full price! No, not these guys. These guys do a thorough job.
