We went to Scottsdale Pet Hotel (the available dogs are boarded there) and were asked to bring our existing dogs, which I liked. We spent quite a bit of time with Pumi (not his name anymore) and everyone who worked with us was really nice and very helpful throughout the process. We fell in love with our new family member instantly. We will be taking him to our personal vet, just to have him checked out, although he seems very healthy. I searched and searched and searched on PetFinder and sent countless pictures of needy pets to my husband. Finally, I stumbled upon a picture of an adorable dog named Casanova. He stole my heart and I knew we were meant to be. The husband gave in. This dog was taken care of through the foster program at Mixed Up Mutts and Shepherds Too. I contacted his foster mom and we set up a meeting time. His foster mom was incredibly accommodating and went out of her way to find a home for this sweet dog. Long story short, we met and I adopted the dog that day. Now Rally (formerly Casanova) is a happy, energetic, well adjusted dog. I have a lot of gratitude for the organization that took him in time and time again after he was adopted out and then returned as if he were store merchandise. I know his foster mom took excellent care of him. I was so pleased with this organization and I found their adoption fees to be very minimal. Beware! We adopted a wild beast named Willow from this organization...being told it was a shy cat…read more We fear the cat may have been drugged to be more adoptable as we have never seen any animal act as this one did, and we are in our mid-60s! The beast hid under a day bed for a week. It ate, drank & used the catbox, but we never saw it. Then there was a large pile of feces in our Dining Room which caused our decision to return it. My husband moved some boxes stored under the day bed to retrieve Willow while talking baby talk to her. She brutally attacked both of his hands causing deep puncture wounds and tremendous bleeding. We closed the door to the room so she couldn't go hide anywhere else. She literally flew thru the room!!! I mean LITERALLY FLEW THRU THE ROOM!!! She knocked pictures off the wall & broke stuff! She bit him so hard and so deep in BOTH hands that he was screaming! As he was profusely bleeding, he managed to grab her and get her into the bathtub....where she flew around inside (doors closed) smearing the glass doors!! My husband is a Musician & his hands are necessary for him to work and support us. We went to Urgent Care who made us go to the E.R. X-rays were taken showing no teeth bits or broken bones, but there was still a huge possibility of tendon damage & an infection. We were referred to a Hand Surgeon, but we had to wait over a weekend to see him & worry ourselves sick that a 50-year career was over as he was totally helpless & could do nothing for himself with either hand! We had to thoroughly wash his painful hands twice a day & change the bandages. He could not sleep due to the serious pain & lost 10 pounds in 3 days, not only from the pain, but from the sheer fear of losing his career! When we saw the Hand Surgeon on Monday, he said the next few days were critical & referred him to Hand Therapy which started Tuesday. My husband also had a very hard time with the serious antibiotics & pain meds causing him to suffer greatly. Thank God we have insurance as these people never so much as apologized nor called to check on my husband. They did retrieve the beast the following day. It had to be quarantined as we were required to file a Bite Report with Maricopa County Animal Control. We also filed a Complaint with PetCo, but have not heard back from them. We are out money even though we have insurance. No one from Save the Cats Arizona nor PetCo has stepped up to the plate & offered to help with our expenses nor anything for my husband's tremendous suffering & pain. Real quality organizations, eh? Like we said... BEWARE!!! This was our first time in a PetCo as we do all our shopping at PetSmart which we will continue to do. We will never set foot in a PetCo again. Once was too much! As of today, if Save the Cats Arizona decides not to put the beast down, you could unwittingly take it into your home! We would NEVER adopt from this organization again nor allow anyone we care about to do so either. These sure appear to be the worst nightmare to be handling adoptions of cats to unsuspecting hopefuls. If we could give negative stars, we surely would!!!!

Previously I would speak so highly of this office, but I've stopped recommending them and have been debating looking for a new vet. I don't know if every time I call they're having a bad day, so they gotta make it EVERYONES problem, but the attitudes need to change. I work in an emergency room, I know how to talk to people, and some of the way these receptionist and techs talk really need to check themselves. Disappointed in this office and how they don't seem to care anymore. Maybe it's all about money nowadays but I want a vet that will listen to me or send in a prescription same day if that's what the office tells me they're going to do, do better Oasis. I don't have children, I have my dogs so this isn't something I take lightly, my pets are my family and it doesn't seem like oasis cares about them. ***I wrote the above review for google 9 months ago and have since switched Vets.*** Oasis did call me to go over my complaints but that did not really do anything in the long run. Following my complaint and phone call, my dog unfortunately had an allergic reaction in January of this year. I called and scheduled an appointment but they had nothing for about a week. IT'S A MONEY GRAB FOR POOR CARE…read more My longtime vet retired, and I was referred to Oasis and Dr. Tenney (who was excellent), only to find he was retiring too. Since then, every experience at this clinic has been poor. My most recent visit (June 2026) was for my 5‑month‑old puppy with clear UTI symptoms: blood in urine, straining, one episode of vomiting/soft stool. I requested a urinalysis. Dr. Cailey O'Donnell examined her, agreed she looked healthy, then suddenly pushed a long list of tests and meds--fecal test, bloodwork, X‑rays, probiotics, anti‑vomit meds--before even seeing the urinalysis results. I declined and asked to wait. Twenty minutes later Dr.O'Donnell rushed in saying, "She doesn't have a UTI, she has crystals and needs prescription food for life." This made no sense--especially for a puppy with a first‑time issue. My questions were met with rapid, dismissive explanations about pH levels and diet. Both times I asked about antibiotics for the bloody, frequent urination, I was ignored. She left again, and the rest of the visit consisted of the tech going to the back SIX separate times because the doctor wouldn't return to answer basic questions as -why I was being given adult prescription food for a puppy and answered with, "because that's what they had in stock". After two hours of this chaos & no actual resolution to the blood in her urine, I left with the food, food perscription a bunch of 'just in case' gastro-meds' in hand & no antibiotics. The visit cost $406. Back home, my puppy urinated dark blood and continued straining in misery. I had no choice but to give her leftover antibiotics from my recently deceased dog and booked a next‑day appointment elsewhere. When I re-read the Oasis urinalysis that Dr, O'Donnell handed me herself, it clearly stated my puppy had a UTI and her pH was normal. She it read incorrectly. The second clinic confirmed the findings on the Oasis's report after I asked them to run their own since Oasis had also made an error & ran theirs twice. The analysis showed the "crystals" were minimal and typical of a UTI. That visit cost another $325 because I couldn't rely on Oasis's diagnosis. Sadly, this wasn't my only bad experience in under a year: 1. Vet 1 - Early on, our puppy had frequent urination issues. Upon a visual visual check, Oasis ruled out a UTI without doing a urinalysis--just a late‑day urine concentration test that came back diuted (of which would be the norm at that time of day) but the Vet raised concern-($100). We were told to collect a early morning sample for a second test that came back in range. ($100). When we asked if the frequency was normal for a young female or a concern, the vet shrugged and said, "Could be." A month later, our puppy has a severe UTI. 2. Vet - 2 My cat had a lump, but the vet ws more focused on selling vaccines instead of examining the lump. When question she breezed passed it saying it was normal. Forr cats, lumps are not. I had to go elsewhere--paid twice. 3. Vet 3 - When my 7‑year‑old dog suddenly developed bloody stool and severe leg swelling, I couldn't get an Oasis vet to speak with me during eight hours in the ER or the two ER visits that followed. My dog was ultimately diagnosed with IMT(bleeding disorder) and dying. I need to speak with someone I was familiar with. Oasis didn't call until day three--after I had already made every heartbreaking decision alone & confirmed 'I as doing the right thing'. After caring for 6 dogs and 7 cats, I know the basics of animal care. These animals are family. They deserve competent, empathetic care--not upsells, rushed explanations, misread test results & avoidance. I don't need a fancy lobby or free drinks. I need vets, rather ONE vet who knows my pets history & is knowledgeable, honest, and respectful. Oasis is no longer that. I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
