The fact that when we arrived at our PAID time slot of our appointment we had to wait FOURTY minutes to be seen. You don't even go back with your pet to comfort or verify that they actually receive treatment. Very rude emails and completely disregarding questions should have been our first red flag of this place. Do not entrust your precious animals lives with this company!

We came here on a Sunday afternoon to look for an addition to our family because our senior dog was…read moreseeming a bit lonesome & I've been wanting a female dog for quite a while now! We knew we wanted a female dog under 15 lbs & a dog that came up to our special needs son, without that then we'd be leaving empty handed. The search was finished once we came across our 6 yr old Stella, she immediately came up to all of us... such a friendly, lovey dog that just arrived 5 days prior to us meeting her!! She's a pure bred pug therefore she still needed to be sprayed & we had to come back the following day between 3-5pm to pick her up.... perfectly fine because it gave me time to go on a shopping spree for anything pink! The adoption fee was $250 plus $14 for her pain meds which was optional. We picked up Stellar the following day with her chip, plus 30 day pet insurance to give us time to sign her up with our own choice & an e-collar to wear for 14 days because of the stitches plus a four day supply of a daily pain med. Now we were anticipating the introduction to our other dog, Sage... at first Sage was scared because of the e-collar but once they finished inspecting each other all was good as if they've been together for years! Stella got attached to all of us immediately & is great with our nonverbal autistic son! Since bringing Stella home we've received all of her medical records via email from Maricopa County. The process was smooth & everyone was extremely helpful with the whole process. Our Stella is so well behaved which means her parents were very good to her thankfully because there's no sign of past abuse! We couldn't be any happier with our choice in Stella & with the location of the West Valley!

Through her we met the most wonderful, sweetest dog, Lisa. On a home visit, we learned that our dog unfortunately needs to be an only dog, but Lisa is so cute, funny and easy going, and will make a very sweet and fun pet for a lucky someone! My kids begged to take one home (we didn't), but we all had so much fun snuggling, playing, and forgetting about everything else for a bit. Upon receiving this kitten, I noticed that it had the genitalia of a boy. The male kitten also had a dark bump in his eye. This was unintentional so I was not upset with her about this happening. However what upset me was that she was not willing to refund me the $75 I paid to have a female orange kitten. She expected me to donate my money to her even though I did not receive what I expected. She did not fulfill her side of the contract by providing me a female orange kitten (as advertised), and yet I don't get my money back. It's not like I got what I expected and then suddenly decided to change my mind. PLEASE stay away from adopting from this rescue. She will scam you your money even if she is the one in the wrong. Also the reviews left on yelp for her lash business are so bad as well, I honestly should have trusted my gut feeling when I saw those bad reviews.

These ladies were…read moreamazing to work with and you could tell right away that they truly loved the animals and their first consideration was for their well being. This love is reflected back to us from our kittens because they were so well cared for. Everything about our experience was positive and we enjoyed getting to know Lisa and Ariella and we will stay in touch with them so they know their babies are enjoying their new home. I was going to go in to look at possible adoptions. Just riding by this place was very disturbing…read more Terrible accommodations for the dogs. Tiny pens covered with dilapidated pieces of debris. One poor Shepard was jumping to the top of his pen hitting his head every time. Horrible and so sad. I didn't see any type of yard either, where the dogs could be walked. I could smell dog feces from my car! Stay far from this place. I can't believe the state allows them to operate.

What I observed there are people who are working tirelessly to remove dogs from kill shelters, accept owner surrenders, and give these dogs a chance to be adopted. Yes, I smelled pee (because dogs pee!). This is a place that has so many dogs and limited resources. I believe it is run with what is available, and with trying to save the overwhelming number of homeless and neglected dogs. The little dog I adopted was cared about by Connie and her team, and the communication with me was excellent!
