I became a foster with Saving One Life and I am grateful to be apart of such a hardworking, dedicated group of people! It requires a little bit more out of fosters than other agencies, however their ability to help animals immediately rather than getting put on a long wait list makes the extra work well worth it. read more

Saving One Life - One of my foster kittens, Magdalene - Pet Adoption Near Me

This is a great organization! I volunteer for them at the Petsmart in Tempe and absolutely love it.The kitties are happy and well taken care of. Saving one life puts great emphasis to be a no kill rescue and even travels to areas where the uthenization rate is very high to safe animals from losing there lives too soon. Helping them out is so much more rewarding than a paycheck because everyday I look at these kitties that are so grateful just to see you and not be out on the streets anymore. read more

Saving One Life - Our son laying with our cat Trunks we adopted a few years ago. They love each other so much - Pet Adoption Near Me

I am very, very happy that I found my long-haired Russian Blue (aka a Nebelung, Ava 5 years ago. I have sought different methods in many different ways to donate money to Saving One Life Animal Rescue in Tempe and 8 months or more later, I still haven't had anyone contact me about accepting donations!! I want to thank them for finding my sweet little Ava for me but I have been unable to for quite some time now. I have sent emails to Carrie Nierdorf and have EVER received one reply. I've told many their volunteers that I'd like to donate to Saving One Life and again, nothing. I guess they don't need any donations so I'll keep sending my money to other states. I think it's pretty said that this local animal rescue doesn't want any local donations. Pretty sad I can't keep our money local and are paying for 7 shelters outside of Phoenix, Arizona. read more

This is an awesome organization! They're committed to a never-kill principle...which is amazing. I actually liked them so much I started volunteering in the Camelback center. Here are some things I love most: 1) There is a huge emphasis on loving & caring for these pets until they find a home 2) The goal is to match the right pet with the right person! This keeps both pet & parent happy :) 3) It's volunteer run in the centers (which are located all over the valley in different Petsmarts)! We also have amazing fosters! If you're looking for an organization to adopt from look no further! You'll have an amazing experience and hopefully find your new best friend! read more

This is an amazing rescue! Every single staff member and volunteer we met/worked with was lovely and all the cats we interacted with were so well taken care of and well adjusted. The whole process of applying and bringing home the kitty took less than a week and they helped pair us with the sweetest and most perfect fit for our family. They also recommended an amazing vet on his health record paperwork. We absolutely adore our new kitty and will totally be back to adopt more cats in the future! read more

Saving One Life - Our new kitty! - Pet Adoption Near Me

I just adopted 2 kittens through the Saving One Life San Diego chapter. The process was smooth and relatively simple but more importantly I've got two crazy adorable kittens as my new companions. I adopted from Saving One Life because of their mission and no kill policy. My little girls were chipped, spayed and tested/vaccinated for everything while being raised in foster homes and are acclimating to my home nicely. I would highly recommend this organization! read more

Saving One Life - Pet Adoption Near Me

I do NOT recommend this place. I went to PetsMart to adopt an ESA kitten and they directed me to this website (Saving One Life). Because I am a nice person, I will not put the name of the "assistant" assigned to me. This assistant doesn't return emails (I had to go above her in order to get a reply), sends links telling me to check out a list of about 10 or so kittens, none of which were on the website, then gives me names of 3 kittens to meet and greet, tells me she is going to set up meetings, then tells me that I can't adopt a kitten because I have a job!!!! What nonsense is that! Save yourself a lot of stress and go somewhere else to adopt a pet. read more

Meow Meow!! These peeps do great work and have big hearts. Thank you for finding me two cute kitties to call roommates.

Saving One Life Rescue is an amazing Rescue Organization that not only Fosters kittens in private homes until ready to showcase in various locations of Petsmart! The cats have been vetted, shots up to date, spayed or neutered, and tested for feline FeLV FIV, preventative wormed and microchipped! Pretty much encompasses the up front costs of adopting privately or Craigs list, where there are no guarantees! Really caring Rescue folks read more

We adopted two of our kitties from here. They let us visit the foster home multiple times to make sure they would be a good fit for our family. We love our babies and when we are ready to adopt again would def come back to this kitty rescue. read more

Saint One Life is THE place to go if you want to adopt a healthy kitty. (Or two..) who have been well cared for while waiting for their fur-ever homes! I volunteered with them for a time and then my husband and I adopted a pair of sisters who were 2 years old and had lost their elderly owner (servant.) Stella and Luna were a little shy when we met them but their foster Mom knew their personalities and told us all about both of them.. that when they get to know you they love cuddles, sleeping on the bed with you, and treats in the morning. We brought them home (they had a full vet visit and a clean bill of health prior to adoption) and they settled in like they've been here all their lives. The volunteers at Saving One Life will help you choose a kitty to match your home life and personality so that everyone will be happy. They will ALWAYS take back a kitty that ends up not being a good match but that just does not happen often, since they are so conscientious. These kitties are loved, spoiled, and their health is taken care of before they are adopted.I know, cause I volunteered !! If you;'d love to find a furry companion you can love for the rest of their lives and who will enrich yours, check them out on facebook or go to a local Petsmart and see who is up for adoption. A webpage too will list some of the kitties available. Wonderful organization! read more

We adopted two kittens from this organization who were both housed at Petsmart. Both came home with Ringworm so $300 in vet bills and 12 baths later (let me tell you how fun bathing two cats is), they are finally starting to improve. This whole situation was pretty gross and will make us think twice about adopting animals housed at Petsmart. read more

I highly recommend Saving One Life. They are a fantastic organization working with PetSmart charities! Such a wonderfully dedicated group of volunteers unlike I've seen anywhere else in the Valley. They take special care to make sure the kittens and cats are healthy, both physically and socially, and that they are adopted to suitable homes where they will be loved and cherished. It's a super friendly place to find your next furry feline friend(s)!! To see available animals and adopt (especially now that it's kitten season) just fill out an application on their website. Saving One Life is a wonderful organization. They have saved so may kittens and cats it's astounding. My family has worked with them as a volunteer at Petsmart and as a foster parent for their kittens. Saving One Life is an amazing cat rescue organization run by wonderful people with a dedicated volunteer base. We rescued a kitty from them few years ago and then ended up fostering on and off for a few years. Not recommended I put into adopt one of there dogs got covid. About a week later I send a text message to find out about the dog.... Only to get a message back from some woman saying sorry we decided to adopt her to a family with kids ..... I was shocked after being told the dog originally needed a calm quiet environment....r u telling me that kids are quiet the when I send a email thru the site asked question s I never get so much as a response back. I look on the site and guess what after being told she was adopted out.... It was a flat out lie obviously and I don't recommend this rescue at all..... If your not gonna adopt a animal to a person don't lie at least give a reason...... I adopted from another rescue I will continue to tell people to stay away from this place..... My thoughts will never change either..... U know who Iam talking about since I can't mention your name she is the one that fosters the animals....... read more

Saving One Life is a nonprofit dedicated to getting kittens and cats off the street and into good homes. They work with feral kittens, as well as friendly ones. They have helped so many kitties find their forever homes. We are grateful for their help! read more

I have now adopted two cats from this wonderful rescue. They truly care about the animals and work hard to ensure each is healthy and happy in their adopted homes. They have no "building" to house the cats/kittens they take in so each is fostered by an amazing group of volunteers who take the cats into their homes to help socialize and care for them until ready for adoptions. SOL then works hard to ensure a good match between cat and adopters. Definitely one of the best rescues around. read more
