They went above and beyond for us. LOH and their volunteer foster families honored my request to visit Praise every other weekend and even allowed me to bathe him at their facility because he's so sensitive about being groomed since he is very tiny and has very sensitive skin. Those small acts of kindness made an enormous difference for my and Praise's well-being. When I finally reached a place of stability, I was able to bring Praise home -- bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, full of joy, and with lots of toys and kibble -- and together we moved into our new home to continue our healing journey. I can't wait to give back to LOH and volunteer my time to support others who are facing the same struggles I went through. They've welcomed both me and Praise to volunteer. LOH and their volunteer foster families are truly a lifeline for anyone who has an emotional support animal or beloved pet and needs a safe place for them while they rebuild their life. They give you the comfort of knowing your companion is safe, cared for, and waiting for you when you're ready.

We filled out interest form on the way to shelter. We were interested in looking at a puppy we met the day before. The lady had to ask her supervisor to get someone decided if we can see a puppy. She cleaned the room for is got us ready to go in room. Then went to get the puppy she was very rude. we wanted to see. She had difficulties getting the puppies from kennel. Then the puppies got lost she could be heard saying puppies got lose. Then we hear the puppies whine sounded like 1 got hurt. Whe. She was trying to get them back i kennel. When asked if a puppy got hurt she just said no 1 got in cage by its self thats the whining we heard. She let is visit woth the puppie when she came back she had alpt of flaws with the answers on our form. Rather then get clearlifacation on our answers. She said they were red flags that we are not a god match. She made asunmuptions based off an interest for that was filled out out loud while drivingWe didnt know the answer for 1 question whwn we got there they said its just interested form. We had just been there the day before and they had asked the same questions and were much nicer. If we had red flags why didnt the supervisor at the front come talk to us. The whole thing was rude. We had just lost a puppy be cause of a congenital condition. So we were already distraught fro the lose. She was very disrespectful and didn't fully know how a current dog and new dog greet work. She sent us to front when they dont do that on sundays. She was very judgmental and we already had a dog at home so know how to care for a dog had explained that the day before. We had planed to leave with 1 of the 2 dogs we viewed. We didn't adopt because of how that volunteer treated us.

I came on here to rave about my adoption experience with All About Animals and found myself…read moresurprised by some of the less than positive reviews that I read because we have had nothing but an amazing experience each time we have adopted from Them. We adopted our first from them about 5 years ago and have adopted quite a few more since then. Everyone with the rescue has always been super helpful about matching us with the cat that is the right fit for our family and they have always been super responsive about getting back to us about any follow up questions we have had such as how to integrate a high energy Bengal kitten into our family of mellow older cats. Our fur babies are happy and healthy and All About Animals has become our rescue of choice each time we decide to expand our 4 legged family.

Less than 36 hours later we found a mass onm the kittys jaw line. I tried calling the number on the adoption paperwork but of course it was no good, I called to talk to the woman at petco who told me I had to take kitty to their vet in scottsdale and the only contact was through email. And accused me of not paying the adoption fee and told me I had to come to petco and pay it..Nope..not putting my banking information in your phone. I checked paypal and they hadn't accepted the payment I made, so When given the correct information I resubmitted the payment immediately and PayPal verified that it has been accepted. I have emails spanning 5 days of Dawn Cavanaugh claiming kitty is healthy , even after she was diagnosed with Stomatosis and the vet recommended a biopsy of the mass on her jawline and FIV/Feline Leukemia testing. I made very clear throughout the email communications that I expected my monies refunded as the kitty is not healthy and of course when we returned her to the rescue I was accused of not paying the adoption fee and dishonesty. And I'm not getting a refund. I am communicating with Petco Cares and Paypal about this but beware !!

Too many times rescues adopt out cats and kittens to people who rent and maybe can't have another cat and then the cat gets displaced or dumped. I love the professionalism and the amazing volunteers and fosters they have that put in so much time to bring such socialized cats and kittens into adoption centers. Laurie, the woman who runs this place, is absolutely amazing. You can tell she cares a LOT about her cats, and wants to make sure that every single cat she adopts out goes to their forever home. The fact that other reviewers are giving negative reviews because THEY had to re-home a pet is disgusting. At what point does you being a poor home mean that the rescue is at fault? You failed your cat and have only you to blame. Pinning it on the rescue, who trusted you to take care of their cat, is cruel. There is no rescue in the world that can take every single cat out there. It just cannot be done. There are millions of stray, homeless cats. Blaming a rescue for not having unlimited funds and room for cats is silly. This is fantastic rescue, and they don't deserve negative reviews for something they cannot help.

We researched a lot and spoke to many breeders but clicked with Chantel instantly. She is one of the most communicative and lovely people I have ever worked with in any setting. From the very beginning she made sure to get to know us, our lifestyle and what we were looking for in kittens, and did a great job matching us with our two cuddle bugs (Napoleon and Mochi). She spent literally hours and hours updating us with the boys' progress with pictures and videos, so that it felt like we were really watching them grow up in real time--especially appreciated during COVID times! Whenever there is a decision to be made she involved me right away, which isn't even at all expected or necessary but it really made me feel like a cat mom and bonded me even more strongly to the babies. She was also wonderful with the pragmatic side of things in terms of being upfront and flexible with electronic payments and sending receipts right away (even though Venmo and PayPal both record everything so it doesn't really matter either way). Everything was stated clearly in the contract and I felt 100% comfortable throughout the process. We did a minimal contact pick up since it's COVID times and she was very flexible and timely with all of that too. I did get to see some of the other cats in her lovely home and cattery too! After we got the kittens I have bothered her with a ton of questions as well and she has always been really responsive. It's obvious that she and her son Zander love the cats intensely and sincerely. It warms my heart every time I talk to her. And lastly but most importantly... the boys are THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE. They are so cuddly and friendly and not to mention the most adorable and fluffy cats. I called the vet office recently to make their neuter appointment and the lady on the phone, whom I had only met once, immediately said "oh, you are the one with those two really sweet and cute kittens!" They truly are the most strikingly sweet little angels. Again, I cannot be more grateful to Chantel and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking to add a beautiful sweet muffin to their family.

Which leaves me NO buyer protection and seems completely unethical. When I asked to just adhere to our contractual terms of cash at pick up, she told me that was unacceptable and said she won't deliver the cat even though I've had a deposit on him for months. This is all happening THE DAY BEFORE I was supposed to fly out to bring him home. I'm truly devastated. Been counting down the days and now I'm just heartbroken. I lost my ragdoll after a yearlong cancer battle and to have this happen now is the absolute worst. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.

I also really appreciate their front desk staff, they are very supportive and considerate, and I really appreciate all their efforts and help. Additionally, their grooming services are great, they're very careful and considerate of the cats and their fur. I also love that they offer cat boarding - they have rooms each about the size of a walk-in closet that has photos of birds, a bed, bowls, and a TV. I haven't needed to use their boarding services yet but am grateful to know that if I ever did need to board my cats, I could do it somewhere I really trust.
