Caring Hearts Animal Clinic and BARC continue to be a beacon in the world of veterinary care not only with the veterinarians on-staff, but for their technicians, as well as reception.
Back in 2022, we had the blessing of being referred to see Dr. Montez for one of his many speciaiilies, physical therapy, after having had a tumultuous year where our dog lost the ability to walk, and quite frankly was on the verge of passing.
That year was nothing short of an emotional roller-coaster, but what I can say is that not only did Dr. Montez assure us that he would do all he could to help our fur-baby, but he also kept things very honest; he told us he really only ever studied cases like ours in school, and that he would work with his physical therapy staff to figure out the best plan of care to try and get our fur-baby walking again.
It might not be conventional to have a doctor not coddle and tel you "everything will be ok," but that's what we have grown to appreciate about Dr. Montez; he keeps things honest, and doesn't want to set an expectation of telling you everything will be fine because in order for things to be fine, a lot of variables need to take shape.
Fast-forward four years, we will still see Dr. Montez for physical therapy, and our child looks like a ghost of the dog he was in 2022; he is WALKING, RUNNING, PLAYING and truly has been given another chance at life! Words will never be able to express our sincerest gratitude to Dr. Montez and staff for all that he has done, but what I can say is that this clinic is nothing short of it's name; full of staff with legitimate Caring Hearts.
Since 2022, having gone from being in their clinic twice per week to now going once per week, which is something we don't take for granted, we have had the pleasure of also befriending the reception staff, which have been NOTHING SHORT of supportive and CARING as we embarked on this journey with our fur-baby. They not only made it a point to continuously ask how our child is doing, but they continue, to this day, to ask not only how fur-baby is doing, but how WE, as the client, are doing as well.
Noteworthy standouts include Mariah, who is our child's physical therapist alongside Dr. Montez. She continues to exude such knowledge and kindness when discussing the care our child is receiving during each appointment. At the reception desk, we have had the pleasure of watching many come and go over the years, but we have also watched many grow within the practice and continue their education to become veterinarian technicians, including a wonderful woman named Maddi and Mary! Both of these women started at reception around the same time, and both have continued their education over the years to where they now are in the back, working as vet-techs! Speaking of vet-techs, there is also a wonderful technician named Stacy, who we have literally NEVER worked with ever, but she has ALWAYS exuded such kindness and love to our child, and his siblings, whenever he comes in; that's the kind of clinic this is....a clinic where the staff may not work directly with you, but they will still care about you.
Remaining at reception, as of the time of this review, you have a powerhouse of four amazing women named Nicole, Vanessa, Annie and Noemi! All four of these women are nothing short of amazing, and after years of seeing receptionists come and go, it's been incredible to experience four women who genuinely not only enjoy what they do, but also enjoy bringing warmth, love and kindness to patients and clients alike!
Negative reviews exists, and everyone's experience is situational, but from my family to yours, what I can vouch for is that this clinic genuinely cares and wants the best for not only the patient, but the client as well...and that's coming from someone that has been fortunate to come to this clinic every week, sometimes twice, for nearly the past five years! read more
