We really lucked out when we found Sabrina of Pet Sitter Pro! Previously, we had been using pet sitters of the "drive by" variety who came to the house, fed the dog, and 5 minutes later were gone. I always worried about leaving town and could not wait to get home even though our neighbors would stop in to check on our dog while we were away. Not any more now that we can count on Sabrina. From the very beginning when she sends you the questionnaire that includes all sorts of detailed questions so that nothing will be missing in case of need to the text message she requests and responds to once you've arrived home we know that leaving our dog in her care is something we can do without the slightest concern. When we are out of town she visits twice per day, walking Chili our lab/pit girl, and even taking her to the dog park! We joke that Chili likes it when we go out of town because she enjoys her visits from Sabrina so much! Sabrina is very knowledgeable about dogs as well. When Chili developed a strange skin problem that was not responding to anything from the vet Sabrina recommended adding an item from the kitchen pantry to Chili's diet and now about 2 months later the skin problem is gone. Sabrina is absolutely reliable, extremely organized and professional, very responsive to emails and texts, and just in general is an uncommon and highly valuable resource. I just don't encounter many people out there in the world who are as reliable and committed to their work as Sabrina. When we return home from a 2+ week vacation Chili is calm and happy. Not sure what else we could hope for...other than to be able to take Chili with us everywhere. In the meantime, Sabrina is a terrific resource, and we are very thankful to have found her. I have been using a pet sitter for over 10 years when we lived in MA. When we moved to AZ I was in search of a new pet sitter. Luckily, I found Sabrina! She did a superb job taking care of our 2 dogs and 1 cat while we were on vacation. She sent us pictures of our pets which instantly made us feel at ease. One of our dogs is on medicine and she had no problem making sure he took it twice a day. When we returned our pets were happy, well cared for and our house was cleaner than what we left it! I just moved to Arizona not long ago, and I have never used a Pet Sitter before for my 10 yr. old yorkies. Needless to say, I was a little scared to try one, but I have no family here and needed someone to take care of my dogs while I went home for christmas. I cannot say enough good things about Sabrina. She is a wonderful sitter and just a great person all around. We weren't too sure about hiring someone to come in our home at first. We did like our initial meeting and thought we would at least give it one shot. Sabrina sent us pictures and kept us updated on our dogs while we were away. After our return we realized that the wrong key had been exchanged and Sabrina offered to drop by to exchange house keys. Normally our dogs bark at anyone coming to the door (especially with only the screen door closed). When Sabrina approached our home the dogs were happy and wagging their tails. Sabrina is absolutely fantastic, not to mention a great resource for us! We have three big dogs (two Dobermans and a Pit Bull) who can be a handful because of their size and exuberant personalities, but this has been absolutely no problem for Sabrina. Not only does she do a great job with the weekly walks, but having her available to stay with our three fur babies has eliminated the stress that goes with overnight travel because we no longer have to worry while they are in Sabrina's care. I called Sabrina to see if she might be able to take care of two (very loved) hermit crabs. She was honest and said they don't get that kind of requests often but she'll check. Within a day she replied to me with a very reasonable quote. Came the day before the trip, she was able to work with our hectic schedule and came to pick up our hermit crabs promptly. On the day of our return, she came promptly once again to deliver. She was observant and took care of them nicely during our trip. She followed all the directions we gave her. Sabrina has become like a member of our family. Sabrina has been sitting for us for over a year now. We have her coming for a mid-day walks during the week and she has done overnight visits for us when we are travelling. My dogs absolutely love her and not only does she take great care of them but she also has helped them by reinforcing some basic obedience training during their walks which has helped tremendously with our overly excited pooches. Sabrina has been super flexible with our crazy schedules and has even been so kind as to pop in for last minute visits when we got stuck unexpectedly out of the area for longer than we had planned. During the overnights stays, she ensures everything is in order for when we get home and it is such a relief to not have to worry about those small things while we are away. There are no words adequate to describe Sabrina. Reliable, trustworthy, and caring are great but just not adequate. We used her services for 4 years and our pets were always well cared for. Sabrina walked our dog Colby on a set schedule and always helped us on short notice requests. When Colby had a medical issue, she is the one who noticed it and got her to a vet. We travel a lot and she stayed with our pets for several weeks. We received pictures and she was even able to make friends with our very elusive cat Samantha. Having Sabrina in our home, while we were gone, made leaving our pets less stressful. We could always tell when Sabrina pulled up by the excited dance Colby did through the house.
