The shop is a little small, but there is a parking lot next door and street parking available. They also serve ice cream along with coffee. It was super tasty and a nice touch to see them supporting other small businesses. Overall, everything I tried was really flavorful and enjoyable. That said, it's definitely on the pricier side. The staff was very friendly and easy to chat with, which added to the positive experience. Next time, I'll probably limit myself to just one or two items, but I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood to treat myself.

You can immediately tell there's real care behind the coffee here. I ordered at the bar, and it was brought out to me on their amazing patio, which was such a nice touch. The matcha almost tasted completely fruity with no actual matcha taste, to the point where it came off more like a smoothie or juice than a caffeinated drink. Staff was friendly and asked for my milk preference. Parking is usually a bit of a problem, although I've never had to park farther than a block away. Many people bike to the coffee shop or next door neighbor, Longfellow Grill. The patio is the place to be. Lots of cyclists, runners and walkers passing by. Lots of outdoor eating and talking. Just wanted to shout out Northern Coffeeworks for opening their space to the community for a space to come together for action and solidarity. The space at NCW is perfect for bigger events, like the one last week. I am sure it is super cute as a coffee shop as well. They have really gorgeous dark green painted walls and some exposed brick! Lots of fun art, trinkets, and food available to purchase as well. Will be coming back ASAP to try their drinks, just wanted to give props!
