Have you ever had Wildflower? Better question have you ever had food because if you have never had Wildflower you have never had food! Look I love food like I took culinary for years and religiously watch cooking shows because as a college student sometimes watching food shows will get you off your butt to cook... Neither here nor there but the point is this broke my brain how good everything was like I had the green muscles for an appetizer and kid you not I would shank someone in the back alley of a 711 just to have the sauce on that smoked bread again!!! I am fully willing to pay Wildflower $10,000 to put it in an IV for me. That's how good it was... Eat here! read more

This place is great! Amazing food and keen attention to detail. We sat outside and felt very safe with the wait staff following Covid protocols. I highly recommend the burger! read more

As far as I'm concerned this is the only place to eat in the Tucson area. As usual, Fox does everything perfectly. The food is always first rate, the staff very attentive and terrific, the vibe and decor awesome. Just love this place...it is 5 stars for sure. read more

I went out to dinner last night at Wildflower and it was off to a terrible start. Despite making reservations *over two months in advance* the hostesses were trying to seat us outdoors. I had tried to reason with them to see if they could accommodate, especially since it was so cold out and plenty of open tables inside. But to no avail; they were so unaccommodating. I definitely expected more from Wildflower. Thankfully, our waitress, Samantha, had overheard the mishap and was able to find a way to seat us indoors without us even having to ask her. She really turned our night around! Thank you again Samantha for your amazing customer service! read more

Dined in during Sonoran Restaurant Week and we were very impressed. I had the kale salad and braised beef short ribs. Both were incredibly delicious. The kale salad was perfect - the kale was not too chewy - they got it right.  The braised beef short ribs were tender, and had some yummy char on the tops (I love the charred part - so good). The apple squash stuffing was really flavorful and tasted "like Thanksgiving". My fiancé loved his bolognese as well. The portions are good for the money. I actually thought the portion of short ribs on my plate was generous for the price - great value for delicious food. The bars of sin dessert was also excellent. The waiter was also super friendly and attentive. read more

Ordered today via Doordash and got the Market Salad with Salmon. From the rave reviews on here, I was really looking forward to this salad, but unfortunately I just have to say it's not my favorite. 1. First of all, the portions in-house looked MUCH bigger than the small to-go container for delivery/takeout. 2. Second, the salmon (additional $9 for a freakishly small piece of salmon) was not cooked thoroughly and in this case, you can't eat raw fish (or choose to get sick) like you might be able to get away with pork or beef if it's a little undercooked. I tasted the raw part with my tongue and it was still slimy. This left me really disappointed having paid $20 for a salad to be delivered, I expected it to be good, mediocre at least! The uncooked salmon left me really unhappy. It was part of my lunch that I paid for and unfortunately since I'm staying at a hotel I can't go anywhere to get a substitute protein so this was really disappointing. 3. Also leaves a bad impression on the restaurant which looked to have good food options, but now i may rethink my future dinner decisions. As for the salad itself: Dressing: raspberry vinegarette: good, but I think balsamic would be better Greens: nice mixed greens Toppings: quinoa, yellow squash, beets, nuts: all good and went well together Goat cheese: Ahhhmazzing, definitely best part about this salad! read more

Good food, chic decor, and great service. We ordered a chefs board for appetizer, and a short rib ravioli and a spinach pappardelle for main entrees. Everything was delicious. The price range is good too. Highly recommended if you are in the area. read more

Excellent restaurant with a very nice ambience. The food is delicious. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and do a great job.

Casual elegance. Great... I mean GREAT food. Madly efficient and friendly wait staff. I only wish there were more Wildflowers in the world. read more

The kale salad was a major disappointment. I like kale quite a bit but not a plate of it with a douse of lemon juice one radish slice and that's about it. When the server collected by plate with 90% of the kale uneaten she didn't ask whether there was a problem or wanted it boxed up. read more

This place is phenomenal. Decided to try it during Sonoran Restaurant Week and it's the best choice I've made all week. For the Sonoran Week Menu it's 35 comes with wine and 3 courses. The wine was a heavy pour of Sauvignon Blanc and was extremely refreshing on yet another hot Tucson day. The bread and oil are delicious and have a little kick with the red pepper flakes. The Tuscan kale salad was the best salad I've ever had in my entire life. I've never had kale prepared well. My boyfriend had the hummus as his starter and it was huge portion. I had the braised beef short rib and it was so decadent wow all the flavors were truly unforgettable. The dish was rich. My boyfriend had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and wow also phenomenal the mushrooms on top really made the whole dish. Now the dessert was also out of this world. The strawberry shortcake was so good and refreshing with the strawberry sorbet and lemon crema that were paired with it. The bars of sin were also good. A fun dessert to eat because you kind of had to break the shell. It had a nice crunch to it comparable to a KitKat. It was paired with vanilla gelato, which of course was delicious. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The aesthetic is so pleasing. The service was even outstanding. The hostess walks you to your table, pulls out your chairs and hands you the menu directly. You don't see that just anywhere. When the server greets you they bring water and are attentive the whole time. Also for parking there's a lot out back if you don't find any out front. Definitely suggest people try this amazing place for Sonoran Restaurant week or just try it because it's delicious. read more

Server was fantastic- food was hot and fresh. The scenery is a little older but still a great place for food and a girls night dinner

Amazing food and even better service! The hummus is a MUST even if you don't usually eat hummus. It is delicious!

They have and extensive separate veganos to be swayed by the "vegan options" mentioned on the site. Nothing vegan. You're lucky if you get the right server who may ask the chef to make you some veggies, hold the butter, hold the cheese. read more

Excellent restaurant! This is the place to find quality food and drinks. The first time I visited I only came for dessert and drinks and was kind of blown away by how amazing the place smelled. Just the smell alone was enough to bring me back for dinner. I finally returned and I must say I was very impressed! I started my night with a pinot grigio the waiter recommended... very smooth taste. Exactly what I was looking for (not too sweet, not too dry). My boyfriend and I split an appetizer of pan fried edemame dumplings. I was really happy to see this option because it's difficult to find meatless dumplings. Afterwards I ordered the fish of the day - a sea bass with creamy barely and an arugula salad. This was definitely some of the best fish I have had in Tucson. The waiter let me know their fish is imported daily every morning. My boyfriend got the scallop dinner and was equally impressed by the quality. I highly recommend Wildflower. I will definitely be coming back in the future! read more

The food is excellent. Good choices. Service was very good. I love eating out on the patio, but inside is nice, too.

Love this place. Lunch with a great friend. Wonderful patio. Food is always awesome. Service is good too

We went there Friday night for our anniversary and the minute we got there, we were seated right away. We did have a reservation. Friday night was packed and busy. The decor inside was nice and modern. We had breads and dips as starters and I ordered Spanish paella, my husband had short rib ravioli, our teenagers split smoke mozzarella ravioli. Our food tasted great and it just perfect. The only problem was the food portion was quite small for that amount of money. At the end of dinner, we ordered 2 desserts. Our teens shared cinnamon donuts and my husband and I shared bars of sin. Since it was our anniversary, our dessert was on the house (just ours, not the teens'). It was nice of them. Overall, yes we recommend this restaurant and can't wait to try other dishes on their menu. Pictures attached. read more

First time customer. I used the $10 off $20 coupon that is promoted online. I Ordered the Short Rib to go. Not impressive. I thought I would at least get a piece of bread with my order. The short rib was just ok. Very little stuffing and gravy. Too much oil. Not worth the $28. I don't think it was even worth it with the discount. Maybe when you dine in it's better? Or Maybe this overpriced restaurant is not for me. 1/2 an hour after the meal my stomach is still upset. I think because it was way too greasy. read more

Nice environment with a large patio. Staff was friendly! Ordered the Crisp calamari (delicious) and the spinach salad! Great portions!

On a weekend trip to Tucson, my husband and I happened upon Wildflower. Thinking it was associated with the Wildflower restaurants in Maricopa County (which we like a lot), we stopped in for lunch. Turns out to be a Fox Restaurant (www.foxrc.com) and not associated, but was really nice regardless. I had a grilled shrimp and avocado quinoa bowl. It was delicious...sweet caramelized veggies contrasted nicely with the fresh avocado and savory shrimp. I have a pet peeve with tails left on shrimp in a sauce (Pick up the shrimp and get messy...or cut off the tail and leave a yummy piece behind?) but that's just me. Hubbie had the French Dip sandwich with fries. The fries were perfect, crispy outside, fluffy inside. The sandwich was fine, unremarkable but filling. The restaurant was very busy at lunchtime, but we were seated quickly. They have lovely outdoor seating, but we were surprised to find that it was louder on the patio than in the attractive dining room, so we opted to eat inside. The service was impeccable! read more

I have a severe shellfish allergy & our waitress was on top of it! She noticed one of our dishes was being cooked on the same grill as shrimp and she immediately let the kitchen know and changed it. Food was also phenomenal. read more

I really wanted to like this place, because the service, location and overall ambiance were great. However, after multiple visits over the past few years I (and the group I was with) found the food underwhelming, or mixed at best. Some items were over/undercooked (e.g. dry chicken), bland, watery (e.g. pasta sauce). Other things were good to excellent, such as the ravioli and smoked salmon app, but for the price and setting I expect all the food to be consistently stellar, so unfortunately I probably won't go back soon. read more

Great spot & totally worth the prices of the meals & drinks. The mule & Margarita were both good and strong, I love when a drink is strong since I know i'm not being cheaped out on alcohol for a high priced drink. For an appetizer, the calamari was a 10/10. A must have. The Braised Beef Ravioli was ordered by 3/7 of us & was absolutely delightful. Creamy yet very light, everyone was able to clean their plates. The Lemongrass Skewered Scallops were really good, especially with the black rice. The scallops themselves were a bit salty at times though. The Shrimp & Avocado was also enjoyed, as well as the Salmon dish. Finally, the bolognese was some of the best bolognese I've had in a very long time, & it came with two pieces of really great garlic bread. Service was also very professional, on time, kept our drinks and waters filled, & very polite. read more

I've been here several times and have never been disappointed! Their calamari is to die for and we get it every time! We were there for my parent's anniversary and they comped a desert with "happy anniversary" on the plate which was a nice touch! The service is always great, but Christian today was by far the most attentive and knowledgeable waiter we've had! The drinks and food are always amazing! Highly recommend! Wildflower - Bars of sin - New American Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

It's been two years since I reviewed Wildflower and they're still providing the same great food with the same great service! I LOVE Wildflower, it's my favorite of all the Fox Concepts and probably one of my favorite eateries in Tucson. Wildflower makes my favorites list for their consistency on all levels- food, quality and service. We rolled in on Saturday night at 8:45pm- their kitchen closes at 9. Not a peep was made, they graciously seated us and not once did the hostess or server make us feel rushed- they didn't even mention the fact that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes. THIS is how you keep a customer! There are so many places in this city that I go to that do the exact opposite. Serving staff will ether ignore you at the door or make you feel rushed for walking in 15 minutes before the kitchen closes. Wildflower makes it a point to show each customer that they are appreciated. I'd love to see more businesses follow suit. OK, end rant :) It also happens to be restaurant week and Wildflower has the most variety on their menu. They included many of their top items on the menu, which I love. For $30 they offered an app, entree and dessert- portions all normal sized. It's a lot of food! I had my favorite- Smoked Salmon galette to start, also ordered the short rib ravioli and the bars of Sin for dessert. We also went off menu and ordered the a Caesar-Kale salad and the scallops with forbidden rice. Delicious! If I lived closer, I'd go to Wildflower a lot more often. read more

Wildflower is my favorite "go to" restaurant in Tucson. It's the place I always suggest when no one knows where to go... Why? It's consistently good- both the food and the service, and that is a hard feat to accomplish in Tucson. I know it's a Fox Restaurant, and as such, it's part of the Fox chain concept. But there is, to its complete credit- only ONE Wildflower. My most recent dining experience was last night (4th of July). I'm on their email "VIP" list, and I recommend getting on that list, simply because you will get emailed coupons for 25% off your bill on all major holidays. The coupon is good at any Fox Restaurant, but my first choice Fox concept- by far- is Wildflower. My son ordered a Prix-Fixe four course summer meal ($35) that came with a starter course (small serving of brushetta), then he had a calamari salad, which was very flavorful. A skirt steak dish that was perfectly prepared and came with some greens. And for dessert, he had doughnut holes with a cherry custard. I wasn't very hungry, so I had a few bites of my son's food (to taste the different courses), and ordered the mussels. I have had the mussels here on numerous occasions, and I think it may have been an off night for the mussels (two were closed and two were empty). No worries, with a glass of Petit Sirah ($8), and the mussels, I was a happy camper. I did manage to save room for dessert, and the butterscotch pudding ($5) was out of this world! It is prepared slightly salted, and the taste of the salt with the butterscotch is fantastically delectable. I recommend Wildflower for lunch too... They used to have a salad on their menu called "The Everything" salad, and when I go for lunch, I always ask for it, and they always oblige. If you want predictably good food and service, you can't go wrong with Wildflower. Trust me- Wildflower is almost always my first choice restaurant in Tucson. And I love their patio too! read more

Three months removed from my first visit, would Wildflower live up to first time? In a word YES! The service is just attentive, the drinks are every bit as dangerous and the food is still as amazing as ever. Do not let the strip mall location foll you. Wildflower is worth checking out! read more

Wildflower deserves props for taking the spot as the best pre-interview dinner I had the pleasure of partaking in. Beyond the great company, the summation of the multitude of dishes and our awesome waitress was worthy of much merit. Appetizers were multiple and varied with grilled whole artichokes, edamame dumplings & enoki mushrooms and one nicely executed bowl of crispy calamari. Mains such as the "classic" ramen put really refreshing twists on the traditional preparations while my mahi mahi was just plain tasty. Though the flavors could've popped more, it was still well-executed and satisfying. Likewise, my cinnamon doughnuts were pretty fantastic - made to order, soft and decadent with the raspberry & whipped cream dipping sauce. For having such a large group of nearly 20 people, our waitress was exceptionally attentive to our needs throughout the meal with recommendations always at the tip of her tongue and timing down pat. I agree with fellow Yelpers too that the ambiance is contemporary and upscale, yet totally approachable. Honestly, the restaurant looks a good deal fancier than the surprisingly reasonable prices charged for the food. Looks like the folks behind Fox Restaurant Concepts nailed it with this one ;) read more
