I am a big fan of Wildflower - multiple locations. However I have been disappointed on multiple occasions at the Flagstaff location. Most recently when I ordered a chicken kale Caesar, the dressing was vinegar/oil based instead of a creamy Caesar dressing. A couple of times I have carried out a Caesar salad and taken it to my sons. Every time I carry my salad out it is very small snd the amount of chicken pieces in the salad is reduced. Yum! I love love the potato cream cheese soup and the chicken feta pesto sandwich. Plus, the free bread samples while you wait in line sweeten the deal. The staff is super friendly and nice, but their app is pretty confusing and no one could explain it to me. We have come here for years on fall break. Recent visit was disappointing. Food took too long and it was not clean inside. Cashier let someone cut in front of us. The bathroom was backed up and down to one stall. Food was okay but got cold fast. This was one of our favorite Wildflower locations and sadly it's gone down the drain. I'm sooo over due writing a review on this place... it's fantastic! I know it's a small chain. I know some think it's a miniature Panera bread but you have to give it try and judge it on its own. We can't say enough nice things about the staff! They are always incredibly friendly and watching out for customers as a team. That kind of trading and service is rare nowadays! We love to start with the chili lime Brussel sprouts. Crispy and seasoned, the portion is great for two or more. It can also make up a great meal on its own for one. My favorite sandwiches are the Rueben and the steak and blue. The horseradish sauce on the steak sandwich is awesome. I've had it by itself and as a half with a salad (I took the bread off, pilled the sandwich on the salad!). My wife loves the tuna and the Turkey sandwiches. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. Now that it's cooler, the soup and pastas move to the head of our list! The location is great. We prefer sitting inside but the huge outdoor fireplace looks inviting. We aim here for lunch. Afterwards, we try to snag a loaf of their red white and blue bread for toast during the next week. A friend of mine has been telling me to try this place out for so long. The Southwestern Salad is her absolute favorite so I decided to finally give it a try. The service was great and the place was filled with many smiling faces however my salad could have been better. I ordered mine to go with chicken but when I opened the salad there was no chicken. For $18 I expected more, at the very least I expected my avocados to be fresh. To my disappointment, the avocados were brown and super over ripened. The salad dressing was meh and the corn tasted old much like the avocado. I rate this place at a 2 because the guy at the counter was very polite and the place was clean. read more

The last 3 times i have gone to this location they have messed up my order whether that be the food made wrong, giving me my drink after I finished my whole meal or taking over 30 minutes to get to us. These upscale soup and sandwich places are popping up all over, but Wildflower Bread is one of the better ones. We were up in Flag for the weekend and stopped here with friends for a light dinner. There was some mild confusion with the staff over our orders, but nothing too serious. If anything, it was amusing. I had the Turkey Pastrami which came with nice Cole-slaw with raisins. Very flavorful and creamy. Others in our group had the Chicken Parm sandwich which surprisingly was served open face. There was no way to pick it up. It was good, but also very messy. Others had the soup and sandwich combo, which were equally good. Since we were two groups, our bill came to around $59 including taxes, for our party of four. While our friends bill came to under $30 for three. So expect to pay $12.00 or so each, including dessert and drinks. Three and a half Stars, "A-OK". read more

A friend recommend their soup, so I decided to try it out! I put in an order for take-out: potato with cream cheese soup in a bread bowl and a salad. When I arrived they had it ready to go and I was in and out in 5 mins. I loved the soup --creamy, tasteful and filling. It was exactly what i wanted. The second time I visited, I ordered dine in. I got the club sandwich. It was amazing! They are not shy with their meat and cheese. The Cole slaw that's put in gives it great flavor and the cups were homemade. read more

We visited here from Houston and loved it! The atmosphere is great (I really like the fireplace feature), the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is good too! I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with their mushroom soup, my husband had the lemon chicken soup (which came in a bread bowl), and kids had a turkey sandwich with Mac n cheese. All really good! I also noticed that the person at the front register offered some customers a sample of one of their soups to try before they ordered, so the service is honestly next level! For dessert, their chocolate hazelnut and sea salt cookies are great. The place is very kid friendly (good kid menu options) and parking is decent too. This place is like an upscale Panera Bread, which I thought was pretty nice to begin with. The breads, soups, teas, and cookies tasted very fresh here. I had a half chicken pesto sandwich, potato cream cheese soup, ginger peach hot tea, and the butterscotch oatmeal cookie. All-in-all the food was very delicious, and the bathrooms were extremely clean. (There's even hand lotion in the bathroom!) Be wary: when you pay with a credit card before sitting, there's no place to leave a tip. You would have to bring in cash with you ahead of time to tip the people bringing your food. This made for a great pitstop between SoCal and Albuquerque; it was definitely worth driving the extra half mile or so off the freeway. This place lacks a fifth star because the two person booth was uncomfortable due to the lack of leg room. (Not as great when you're trying to stretch out your legs after 6+ hours of driving.) read more
