I don't know if it was the look on our faces or that we were a bit better dressed then the uncles in their white tanks with legs propped up on stools or what, but the kind lady proprietor suggested we eat at their "nicer atmosphere" dining room a few doors down. The dining room greeted us with nice A/C and floors our shoes had better grip on. The food is ordered here and they will prepare the soup, noodles, drinks, etc. but all the siu mei still comes over from the other shop. The roasted meats we're tender and tasty, no lie. I'd say even skip all those starchy fillers and go straight for the roasted proteins. The portions here are very generous and we felt a little guilty leaving some pieces uneaten. Taking orders and bringing food to the table is just the bare minimum. To top it off, after finally getting a table, we were told to go wait by the entrance again.
