Unfortunately, the sad truth is that our experience in Wildberry was underwhelming because of the service. Where in the beginning the waitstaff was present to take our order, it slowly trickled down to no service. The staff however, were pleasant, but just their lack of care was real. Never received water, and as I ordered a Pellegrino it never came, nor was there an explanation for this broken trust, but please believe it was on the bill. (Insert single tear emoji). Then the food, let me tell you, it just wasn't it, we ordered a shakshouka and yeah, nope, we definitely didn't get that, we received something (idk what) else and the waitstaff insisted it was what they gave us. Made reservations ahead of time for a party of 6. When we all got there they had us wait 30min as they weren't ready. When we finally sat down and ordered we waited about 45min-1hr for the food. We were almost ready to leave and go somewhere else since we were starving. When the waitress brought out the food 3 of the orders were wrong. Gave us avo smash instead of avo croissant. She looked at what she wrote down and apologized that she got it wrong but then also said that it was because the didn't have any croissants left. She could've then at least given us a heads up about it so we could change out order. Probably they did have croissants and she just mixed up the orders so came up with this excuse. The food was great and the look of the place was nice. The only thing that came on time were drinks and desserts. If you come here just get drinks and desserts. I understand that they're fairly new and still trying to work out some issues, but there's plenty of other restaurants in Brooklyn that are new with great food and fast service. Rare are the times where I leave three reviews on one place but man oh man. I cannot believe how terrific this place is. This review pertains to a delivery we had yesterday, which was as flawless as their food! Really wasn't expecting much with regards to their savory offerings, but the chicken adobo wrap with garlic aïoli sauce accompanied by roasted potatoes was out of this world amazing. Also ordered a chicken quesadilla that was beyond delightful and ridiculously fresh and flavorful. Hate to say this, but this quesadilla was eons better than I've had from any Mexican restaurant ever. Lots of love, pride and integrity go into their food and I am literally blown away. So busy consuming this delicious food, I couldn't stop to take a photo. Next time for sure. Definitely adding this wonderful establishment to our rotation. read more

The manager is so easy going, accommodating, and understanding, he met with me to go over the menu and expectations, all the food came out great and on time. My guests were so impressed! The cake I ordered was made fresh and the pastry chef checked in with me several times to ensure the cake was cut as I wanted and tasted great. We chose the wildberry current cake - phenomenal!! it's sweet and tangy and a little spur all at once, such a nice combination of flavors, and really nice for guests to try something new and less common like black current. We took our in-laws for their annual anniversary meal. This is the first time we have tried this cafe, but I heard really good things about it. The dining area is not large, but very clean and light. They do not have tables big enough to sit more than 4 people, so they combined a rectangular and a round table to fit 6 of us which worked out well. We ordered a few appetizers: cobb salad, halloumi salad, baked brie and eggplant atom. All were delicious and very fresh. For mains, I had shrimp kebab, husband had lamb chops, my son had chicken kebab and my in laws split a lamb kebab. The mains portions were really generous, and we brought leftovers home as we also wanted to try the dessert. Their sweets are fantastic. If you are used to typical heavy American type sweets, prepare to be surprised by the burst of flavors-fruity, a bit tarty, the flavors just work so well. I had the wild currant cake and husband had the choux pastry. So delicious. Our server was lovely. I liked the place when it was under previous owners. The service was great and responsive service. Recently I came again and ordered as usual a decaf coffee. They went out of decaf coffee. Previously in the case they just send someone around the corner or to the next restaurant to buy or borrow one. This time even a manager(was it a manager?) preferred loose 2 people who wanted spend $50-100, than to do some customer move. I won't go there anymore. This is a new cafe that recently opened up. We decided with friends to check it out for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The Turkish tea was excellent, and the poppy mango cake slice was very delicious! We bought different macaroons for our kids and there was a lot of flavors. The service was personable, and the Turkish delights which came with expresso were a very nice touch detail, especially the rose flavor candy which reminded me of a rose scent. The bathrooms were with lots of space, clean (this is important to me), and had automatic sinks, and hand dryers. I highly recommend this place. read more

Staff is friendly and not pushy; they are fine if you just chill and nurse your drink. The street noise can be a little loud but that's not their fault. I accidentally found this place and highly recommend. I tried rose boreci (spinach), double chocolate cake, Turkish coffee and Turkish tea! Cake is the best chocolate cake I have ever tried. Place is good, ambiance is there, place is clean, service was good but the only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars or coming more often for dinner is that I think they're overpriced. Food menu is limited, this is more of a dessert place but the desserts are overpriced. The cakes are amazing but for $10 a slice they could do better. They gave us a two 2.5 inch slices that were tall but they also served it on the tiniest plate was hard to eat on. It started falling apart as soon as I cut because of how small it was. I called to order a whole cake a few days later and they said it would be $120!! I said "what?I just need a small cake for about 10 people" the girl on the phone said it's $120 because it's 10$ a slice and a cake is 12 pieces... which was the most bizarre experience I've ever had ordering a cake lol maybe should've asked for the manager when that happened. I ended up going to cherry hill next door and getting a cake instead. But anyway a nice spot for dessert and I'll be back anyhow. read more
