Good food, loud environment. That's ok. Sometimes poor service. Example: My wife and I just had dinner today to celebrate a special occasion. Our waitress left us hanging most of the meal. We asked for catchup, long wait... asked for napkins, had to help myself... no refill on my soda... she spent a long time chatting with friends at one table while we waited... She dropped the bill off and said,"I'll take that when you're ready", and then she disappeared. It could have been a better experience but it was a disappointment. read more

We came in with a large party. They knew we were coming in over a WEEK in advance. We ordered and waited and waited and WAITED well over an hour for our food. People who came in well after us were being served and we were told the kitchen was backed up.....really....Then my food came out wrong, the kitchen said it was correct....it wasn't. Another member in our party their food was so burnt she couldn't eat it. Everyone's food was cold. Just awful. Our server was pleasant, I give her full credit for that. read more

Their website hours are simply incorrect. Dont go 1.5-2 hours before closing time if you expect to be served! Im a bartender and wont go places an hour before closing because i know how annoying that can be, so we went 1.5 hours before closing ready to order as soon as we walked in. We were greeted with "the kitchen has closed and been sent home already" even though it says nothing about that anywhere in person or online and the people at the bar had just been served food. So-so service. So-so food. So-so experience. Our waitress didn't seem too enthused to take our order. It actually felt like an inconvenience when we asked for the drink menu - which was not at our table. I tried the Drew's Devilishly Delicious Fried Chicken Sandwich, dubbed the "best fried chicken sandwich ever." A bold claim and also inaccurate. Nothing terrible but nothing to write home about either. I got a side of Mac of Cheese, which tasted like it was made from a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese. Not great. Also got a side of tater tots which were standard/good. One note - my wife found several hairs in her food. I DID NOT experience anything similar but when she complained to the waitress, the waitress told the manager who proceeded to take $3 off the bill. I guess a dollar for every hair? Service wasn't great. Beer was very flat(2 diff beers) told waiter and he could care less. Said they cleaned their lines and maybe I had a warm glass. Took forever to get our food. Just wings and fries folks. $73 for shitty beer and long wait. I used to love Wild Wings. Won't go back to this one. Save your money and go somewhere else like Downtown Grill and Brewery. read more

I honestly don't know why I give this place another chance every time. 30 plus minutes to get my drink EVERY TIME and then it's a toss up if you ever see the server again. My most recent visit was horrible service combined with horrible food so that might be the final strike against this location. Food: sub par. Service: terrible. We had to wait for the host and hostess to finish their personal conversation to be greeted. The host sat us at a booth that had a huge spill (maybe 3x2') in front of one of the benches. My husband had to step over it, and I handed our youngest child to him over the table to avoid it. There were probably 30+ other tables open in the restaurant that didn't have giant spills in front of them. The server insisted they didn't have the Highlands Cold Mountain on tap (not saying they were out but that they didn't carry it at all) even though it was on the menu (and we realized later, visible from our table). We asked her to check, and surprise - they did carry it. The buffet was meh. The blue cheese mac and cheese and spinach artichoke dip were good, but the tater tots didn't have a heat lamp over them, so -spoiler- they were very cold. ‍ The wings were what you'd expect to be sitting on an buffet - cold, tough and flavorless. The server never checked on us after giving us our drinks and sauces until it was time for us to ask for the check. I bumped a one star experience up to two because I've had the wings made fresh at the west Knox location and they were much better, so I'm assuming they were cold and tough because of the buffet. There are too many great restaurants in Knoxville to risk another bad, not cheap meal, so I won't be back. On a side note, Wicked Weed Cookies and Cream Stout is impeccable. read more

Was looking for a pet friendly patio and good WiFi and we found it. Ordered the potato chips with cheese, bacon, onion, etc and chips were too greasy but tasty. Well burger was good but maybe too well (charred). Buffalo/fajita salad was good but the ranch buffalo dressing was excellent. Staff was training and kitchen was slow for the small crowd. But very accommodating to the fur baby so we will come back and enjoy a beer or two! read more

Made a spontaneous visit because I had a craving for wings. Had Mickala as our waitress and she was amazing! We had three kids with us and she was extremely patient. She kept our drinks full and continuously checked in on us. We got 60 wings, fried pickles, loaded fries and tots. Everything was scrumptious. The habanero and atomic sauces were my personal favorites. Will for sure be back and will ask for Mickala! read more

The cooks are different here. You will get wings cooked to different specs from each cook working here. No 2 days are ever the same, imo.

After waiting 35 minutes to be seated even though it wasn't busy we gave up to set at the bar, we'll big mistake it took another 20 to get waited on. After all of two hrs our food came my chicken fingers were dark brown meaning the oil hasn't been changed then the substance inside was so rubbery I couldn't cut into it. A very large noisy crowded sports bar with lots of big screen tvs serving predictable ok food. The better hamburger you can find down Emory a bit at 5 guys if that tells you anything. The Phili steak sandwich, kind of light on the ingredients and lacking a bit in the flavor department, although almost adequate for North Knoxville, would probably result in a bar fight if served to somebody who actually is from Philly or nearby Jersey. The sweet potato fries were like half cooked and essentially were sweet potato fries that were soaked in hot oil for a minute or two and somehow made their way to our table. I think any restaurant that doesn't serve food at least as good as cracker barrel which is a solid "4" is just plain falling short in the food department...believe me cracker barrel would have been a much better choice. read more

The manager was not pleasant and did not appear to care about the fact that he is supporting a restaurant business while obviously serving poor quality of food. How do you mess up wings? Never again. We understand it is a business decision to limit seating, wear masks, distance et. al. We cannot understand being ignored by literally every staff person present. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and asked for bar seating. Nope nada but you can sit at a table next to the bar. BUT there is no bartender. We had to wait for a server to arrive, BUT he/she never arrived. Finally raised my voice and shouted for a server. Nope, finally one arrived with an order for an adjacent table. I asked and they told me that there was no bar tender that someone would arrive to take our order. Nope, we left. Also, we were disappointed with the decor, expected much better. It was dark. The TV's were side by side at the bar and they were plentiful. Problem, they were directly overhead and impossible to see. About half of the place was empty with chairs overturned on tables. No doubt the result of the decision comply with restrictions despite them being cancelled. Nevertheless the place is dark and depressing. Nothing like the old WWC in Farragut. Came here for a quick bite to eat and it was okay. My order of wings came out in an appropriate time but weren't anything I'd write home about. If I were to do it again I'd make sure to ask for them crispy as the skin still had a little bit of that fleshiness to it. I did get the traditional hot which wasn't very spicy but I won't fault them for that; I typically like spicier things and would rather be underwhelmed than dealing with a case of burn hole over the next 24 hours. I would probably come back as they do have some of the best prices on wings in the area and a couple other menu item I'd like to try. read more

We stopped by for lunch for the first time the other day. All we have to say is "Wow!". This restaurant exceeded our expectations with drink choices, beer variety and the food. Most wing places cost over $1/wing and that is ridiculous. There are usually 6 flavors on the menu to choose from and each on is just as flavorful as the next. They are fresh made on each order, so you need to be a little patient or be quick on ordering. If you need a place to eat with the family or the boys, this is the place to go. read more
