We stopped in because we were craving wings and the reviews looked promising. We ordered three different flavors of wings. First we ordered Ragin Cajun, then we got the ginger, and then we got a dry rub that I can't remember the name of, but it was supposed to be smoky and sweet. The first two flavors were delicious and very juicy. The last flavor the dry rub was very smoky. Overbearingly smoky. And there wasn't any sweetness. So my husband and I just each tasted our one which we never finished and the weight staff never asked us if there was an issue. And when you leave a basket full of wings, you expect that maybe somebody will ask you what the problem was. We sat outside on the patio, which was wonderful. But even though it wasn't busy when we first went, the weight staff was not on spot. We were brought the menus and then it was probably 15 to 20 minutes before anybody came back to get our drink order. The place wasn't busy because we were there before dinner hour. Now by the time we left the place was packed. But the weight staff was lacking when we first got there and throughout the meal. But there was plenty of weight staff inside collecting together talking over in corners and seem to be having a really great time. At first, I thought it was break time. But then I noticed in the entire hour and a half. We sat there that that was their normal. If I was the boss, I would be concerned when you had hired and staffed appropriately but yet your customers are feeling neglected. Just a suggestion to sit back and watch. This is still a good place to eat, staff is wonderful and always friendly. I'm not sure what is happening with their wings recently but the flavors are indistinguishable from each other. We ordered the lemon pepper, hot buffalo and Carolina gold BBQ. All of them tasted EXACTLY the same. I thought it was just me until my family asked if we actually got different flavors. I love the covered deck overlooking the pond. It's such a great space. The food and service were both good as well. Lots of TV outside to watch all the sporting events. Although we don't have any complaints there wasn't anything spectacular about our experience either. If we were local we would return for the outdoor seating area for sure. read more

When in Powell, this has become my go-to for dinner or just a drink! The live music schedule is fantastic - I especially love the bluegrass on Mondays. Daily food specials are also wonderful. I had won a gift certificate for this place and was pleasantly surprised! The building was open and full of seating and screens. The booths were huge and comfortable. We ordered the sausage ball starter, which was okay. They tasted a little burnt, so we'd probably pass next time. Husband got the chicken sandwich and I got the Philly. Both were great! We've been here twice. The first time the food was ok, nothing special, and we waited a full hour at our table before we got our food. First of all, I chose to go to Wild Wings as that is my go to spot for wings. We arrive and were told 20 mins to be seated. After 30 mins, I approached the host area and was told "I'm sorry we forgot". I took the first available and we were seated out side about 15 mins later. We had now been waiting around 50 mins to be seated. After we sat outside, we waited an additional 20 mins, with zero contact. No one came by to get our drink order or food nothing. Not a single contact. When I approached someone to ask for help, the lady said someone would be by. She spoke to our waiter, and he looked over, rolled his eyes. And never came by. We got up and left. It was the worst service I have ever received. This is my go to spot, and this experience was by far the worst. The place was not even half full, but we waited over 30 minutes for two salads and a single order of naked wings, all the while being bombarded by flies (indoors, not on the patio). Once the food finally arrived, it was dismal. My salad was warm as was the blue cheese dressing. My Texas toast was hard, cold and inedible. My wings had died at the pass sitting under a heat lamp and were dried out, barely warm and rock hard. My husband's salad was OK, but just that. While we enjoy viewing games here on Sundays there is a serious problem with their tap system. The beer from the taps always tastes off. Almost like it has sanitizer in it. The staff tries to claim it is just a recent or new thing however it is the same every week. I was there some time ago...over a year... and had the same problem. I wish they would fix this problem. They deny it or explain it away so much I am about to invite some brewmasters and distributors to check it out because I am pretty sure they would not be pleased with the foul tastes passed off as their products. Please management take this serious and fix it. It is not poorly rinsed glasses like you always tell me. It is not a bad keg like you have said it is not a "just this week thing" it is a chronic issue. This place is what I like to call "consistently mediocre" and the only reason I go there is because my son likes the wings. The service is typically good and the servers are friendly. A couple of things to bank on are: 1) the kitchen is SLOOOW - even when not busy, and 2) the food will likely be overcooked. My two sons' and I visited Wild Wings café, On Thursday June 20, 2019 at 4:30pm. My youngest son wanted to order two kids meal to go, from Wild wings café. We waited at the bar for over 30 minutes for just two kids meals, the bartender never did go check on my son's to go order. And when my son's kids meal did arrived, it had no condiments, no napkins, for to go forks or even ketchup for his French fries. The house fries that was with my son's kids meal was over seasoned and also stale. My son didn't finish his kid's meal because of the poor service and the quality of his food. My husband and I ate here on June 19, 2023. Our bill was $36.13 and we left a 10.00 tip. This appeared on our credit card that evening. On June 21 at 5:18 a.m. another 10.00 was put on our credit card. After multiple tries calling to talk to a manager I spoke with Amber. She couldn't explain it and said a supervisor would call me back that evening when he came to work. No one called and as of today it is still pending.
