Perfect meal to end our time in Williams, AZ. The owner/mayor (super friendly) greeted us as we were checking out the menu and told us to take a seat anywhere. He set the pace for a great dinner experience. There was live music in the cute wild west outdoor seating area, which was awesome! My son order the brisket sliders, as recommended on another review and he finished his entire plate before the rest of us were barely getting started, he said they were amazing! My T-bone steak was good as was my husband rib slab. My daughter, who is a vegetarian had the veggie burger and also raved about how hood it was. The ambiance, customer service and to top it off food was all great! We will definitely visit again if in the area. Totally recommend this place! read more

We came here late night for our first meal of the day after some long traveling. Tired, dirty and hungry we made our way into this restaurant/saloon. Everyone here was so friendly and hard working. I hope this employees have a staff appreciation program because they deserve it. I observed everyone, including the fabulous outdoor band. Please play more Patsy Cline you all. Very western. Very friendly staff. Good food and accommodations for a good price. The theme room didn't fail to impress! Funny and unique! Need to see it to believe it! Every room is different. The food is mostly terrible. Whatever you do, stick to simple bar food here. The steaks are not even good cuts of meat and are tasteless. My steak was served cold. I swear, I think they just scraped my steak off of I 40 as it tasted more like roadkill. This place is one of those "you pay for the ambiance". They have a decent beer selection and it's nice outdoors. The owner is a bit weird and could thaw out some. He could learn to communicate better with customers. The Wild West Junction is a fun place to stop for a drink and maybe some food. Other restaurants in town have better food so if you are only going to eat at one place this probably shouldn't be it. If you are in town for a few days however, you should check them out. They have a bunch of fun little cowboys and props in a little square of buildings. They have a hotel with western themed rooms, a couple different restaurants and a bar. The bar did have some local beer on tap and the burgers were fine. We split the meal and it was more than enough for two. My husband tried their homemade beef noodle soup - excellent - for once not salty and spiced well. Lets just say if you ever want to meet a real cowboy I would stop in at the Wild West Junction. It's not long before John the wild west cowboy finds you and welcomes you into his establishment. John walked right over and stuck up a conversation with us like we have been in his life for years and made us feel right at home instantly. We were headed over to have a bite to eat because we read the great reviews on Yelp. From the hotel we stayed in, right across the street, we could see in the restaurant window it looked to be packed solid with regulars from around town. A clear indication of great service and food. The staff was friendly and talkative with great conversation. We took the opportunity to write a little saying on a dollar bill and stuck it to the wall, since we did come from Canada, we thought it would be a interesting addition to the collection. The service is quick and easy but for a Saturday night it was dead. I ordered the brisket and to my disappointment it wasn't smoked but more of a stew beef. Affordable LUNCH prices at under $10/entrée. Delicious mahi mahi fish and chips, juicy mushroom Swiss burger, tasty crispy fries, fresh pickles and coleslaw, yummy tartar sauce, nice coffee, and my fave was the homemade green chili and potatoes homemade soup($3cup/$5bowl)! The service was one of the best we've experienced in Arizona, or maybe people in Arizona is just way nicer than most states we've been to. Haha... The lady even kept my husband's food warm in the kitchen cos he was late for lunch. She also gave my whiny toddler a free half cup of orange juice and a few crackers to appease his pre-nap mood. Our first night in Williams with our Daughter and her family for a total of five of us. We ordered Ribs, Brisket and Chicken Fried Stake. The biggest complaint from our group was the amount of BBQ Sauce poured over the ribs way too much(ask for it on the side like it comes with the Brisket) The beans were cold the corn bread was by far the star of the meal. We were in town after a trip to the Grand Canyon, and we decided to get something to eat at Wild West Junction. The prices were HIGH and the food was not great. My dad said he loved his soup, but the rest of the food was pretty awful. The mashed potatoes were barely mashed with big chunks of raw potato in them. The brisket was lacking on flavor so they just overwhelmed the thing with salt, so that was pretty disgusting. The waitress was nice, and the place was warm on a cold night, but I wish we'd chosen a better place to get dinner on our trip to Williams. read more

We walked by on Friday evening on the way to Twister's and thought man that looks awesome so we decided to try it on Saturday night. However, the experience of going there and dining was anything but. Our waiter was late and mainly non-existent. Had to ask for water refills and everything else the entire meal and speaking of the meal...not good. I ordered a ribeye and I've never laid eyes on a more pathetic piece of meat than what I was served. At least 30% fat, the rest was thin, tough, and it begged for steak sauce (which I usually don't do) to make it the least bit edible. My dining companion had a Mexican dish and he told me it was the worst rice he had ever eaten and didn't finish the meal. The wings were the only thing that made us happy, great sauce and flavor on those. There is certainly much better places in Williams, I would recommend you avoid this one. read more

Our host was an absolute delight! He was so friendly and attentive. Our server, on the other hand, was alright. She was friendly but sort of awkward. She stood there staring at us while we were pulling out our money to pay for the bill which was weird. The food was pretty good! Kids meals are a little overpriced and don't include drinks. This place looked inviting as we walked by. It is a courtyard surrounded by Old West-themed storefronts, with picnic tables for us dining folk in the middle. We sat down and I and my food were relentlessly attacked by flies the entire time, which was extremely annoying. It made everything seem dirty, because there was an extreme number of flies, not just a couple. Plus some yellow jackets carrying off my buddy's steak once tiny piece at a time. Yeah, it's outdoors. But so are many of the other restaurants. The food was a mixed bag of OK and not OK. I did not like the rice and beans. I would recommend the hot wings. Those were pretty tasty.
