The service was horrible. Our waitress forgot to put our order in. We waited over 1 hour for food. Several people came in after us and received their food before us. When I asked for the manager he didn't care. He said all he could offer us was a free dessert. We are already way later than we wanted to be and full. I didn't want dessert. The mistake was their fault and they did not want to correct it. We get here often as we are locals. If you do decide to go, sit in Alfredo or Derek's section. We saw this gem on yelp decided we wanted a steak and woukd give it a try. Serive was exceptional and food was amazingly. We got ribey with potatoes, asparagus and mac n cheese. We showed up just before closing and it wasn't a bother nor did they rush us; you have to love them for that! Located inside the Best Western Plus, this restaurant offers an excellent steakhouse meal. We both enjoyed the warm dark bread served with butter before ordering. Salad and dressings were served freshly made and delicious Our Ribeye steaks were delicious, cooked perfectly to our specifications. We were talking about steak with locals in a nearby bar and the consensus was that the Best Western had the best steak in town. Rather than the large restaurant, we opted to have dinner in the cozy lounge, where we were well taken care of by Derek the bartender. After very good drinks, we were served a small loaf of fresh baked bread and a beautiful side salad. The blue cheese dressing actually had large chunks of cheese, not tiny blended specks. Dinner arrived, a perfectly cooked ribeye which we shared. Sides were garlic mashed potatoes and green beans, and they were fine. The meal was great, but it was Derek's high level of service that really made the evening for us. Looking forward to our next visit to Williams. read more

We've stayed at hotel numerous times, however this was our first time dining at restaurant. Started with green Chile stew which was excellent. Husband had French onion soup which he thought was okay. We had baby back ribs and Newport prime steak (sirloin). Both were pretty good, although steak was quite chewy it was a large portion. Sides of sauteed squash was excellent as were mashed potatoes. Green beans didn't live up to expectations. Complimentary bread smelled great but was very dry and lacked flavor. Overall we're glad we finally tried this restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. They also have a very nice lounge and you can order bar food there as well. This is our second night in Williams. Part of the package we have pays for a buffet dinner both nights. It was so bad last night, we gave up about $80 to. not eat there again. This was one of the best reviewed places in Williams. There are two restaurants under the same roof that have the same menu: this one and Kachina Grill. We came after our Grand Canyon return. The food is pretty good. The steaks we had were cooked properly and well-seasoned. The wait person was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is casual, kind of family friendly. But this is a major step over the buffet. Salad was fresh and had good dressing. Sides were good. This was a pretty good place: a solid 4, especially for the area. read more

Bread included in the meal was heated in the microwave so not ideal. French Onion Soup is worth the $2 up charge. I had the prime ranchers cut medium rare but I would suggest ordering it rare because it was just a tad over cooked. Hubby had the Prime Rib Sandwich which was good. Had dinner the other night after a long day on a roadtrip through the area, the steakhouse is located inside of the Inn. I was greeted and seated almost immediately. Service is professional and attentive. My greeter who seated me, and brought me a menu also returned with a glass of water, a warm loaf of bread and butter. Started with the scorpions appetizer, these are five sweet succulent yellow peppers w a hint of spicy wrapped in bacon stuffed with shrimp and conjito cheese. It more than enough to split or share easily. My entree, I opted for the White marble porkchop and its great with a near perfect sear, included sides of garlic mash and green beans along with a starter of french onion soup. A frosty Stella Artois in a chilled tall glass, proper pour, accompanied my meal and it was a great compliment to it all. They had an offering of cheesecake w whipped cream that evening and it was a great finish to a very good meal. The restaurant is kind of a no brainer if you are staying at the lodge. We ordered a full rack of ribs, it says it came with 2 sides and bread. We decided to just pick it up and eat it in our hotel which was just down the street. We got our order, the ribs was lacking bbq sauce and it surely was a frozen meat thawed and cooked really quickly. Even scared to eat it since we were traveling and didn't want to get sick. Didn't even eat the whole rack, hate wasting food but it did ended up in the trash. The baked potato was so old and dry, it was so hard didn't even eat it, the veggies was okay. To top it off, they didn't give us the bread. We should have just went with our gut and listened to the reviews but we just wanted to give them a chance. Five stars for this restaurant actually staying open somewhat late on a week night and allowing us to place a to-go order prior to close. We had the loaded nachos, and they were pretty darn good. They were actually loaded here, unlike other restaurants that advertise loaded nachos and then serve up a plate of plain tortilla chips. The grilled chicken sandwich was only so-so. They need to add something to that to make it a little less boring/bland. Considering that dining options are limited here in Williams, this place is definitely worth checking out. read more

The service was outstanding and always on time without being overly hovering. The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet (although it is a Monday), which was just what we needed. This hotel is located in the Best Western hotel where we were staying for a few days. We called down to place a take out order for dinner in our room. It's not room service and you can't charge it to your room, so be prepared to pick up your food and pay there. It would have saved me a couple trips. We both ordered steaks that came with 2 sides and a soup or salad. I got my steak with loaded baked potato, vegetables and the salad. I wouldn't recommend the baked potato, maybe it was because it was takeout but it was just kind of cold and the cheese dried up. The salad was delicious! My husband got the garlic mashed potatoes (which were much better), sautéed mushrooms and the pork green chili stew. We enjoyed everything (besides the baked potato) and were stuffed at the end of our meal. read more

We chose this location on a motorcycle trip with friends. After a long day of riding (from Kanab, UT to the Grand Canyon and then, Williams) we needed somewhere that had great rates, breakfast included, a hot tub, and a restaurant. It checks ALL of the boxes. We were surprised to find that they have an upgraded coffee machine in the lobby available at all times. And a filtered water bottle filling station. When we walked in the steakhouse was absolutely packed (a good sign), and although we got on a list for a table... when we went to the bar, the bar tender went out of her way to offer us a table in the lounge instead. She was awesome!! The food was good - each entree came with soup or salad, 2 sides, and bread. Generous drink pours - and specialty margaritas!! well worth the money. After dinner, the hot tub called and we answered. A large, clean spa. Room to stretch out or have a private conversation. It was a great way to end a long day on the bike! The smoked Brie was very good as previous reviews stated. My wife orders the salmon, who to which my daughter enjoyed more than my wife. I ordered the ribeye, medium. I love this little bar! The bartenders are always so friendly and accommodating. We always try to make it here for happy hour and early dinner, then early to bed. There are always interesting travelers to talk with in the lounge. The bartender last night was delightful---bright, engaging, professional, and especially accommodating! We went here for Father's Day while in Williams. My son hit the nail on the head, glorified cafeteria food. Had the New York Steak and was looking for med rare. First attempt was well done, sent back as it was shoe leather. Next steak was blue. Lucky for me I ordered the jalapeños in a brown sugar glaze so the steak had some flavor. Forced down about a third and took the rest home for the dogs. It took about 30-40 minutes for us to get our drinks; then another after that 15-20 minutes before we got our soup and salad. The restaurant was not busy, there were 3 other tables being served. The other waiter appeared to be busy and attentive to his tables. The soup and salad finally came and the soup was cold. About 15 minutes after we finished our soup and salad, the waitress came over and told us they were out of prime rib, which is what we both ordered. She brought us over the menus again but after about 15-20 minutes she never came back so I waved her over and asked for the check for the drink and soup and salad. We paid cash and left a bigger tip than we should have because I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to get our card back. Yes this place is inside of a Best Western but don't let that stop you. We were sat immediately and it's a quaint little restaurant. The menu has lots of options from salads, burgers, steak and seafood. I got the salmon with wild rice and green beans. My husband got the filet mignon with cheese polenta and seasonal vegetables. My salmon was delicious as was my green beans and wild rice. I did have a few crunchy pieces. My husband's steak was perfect and melt in your mouth. The cheese polenta....omg it was super good. Our server was very nice and attentive. I was blown away that this dinner was amazing for being inside of an hotel. If we are ever in this area again, we will be back. read more

We stopped in to Western View Steakhouse after reading a number of positive reviews...however, I don't think any of them did justice to the experience we had! First of all we were pleasantly greeted by the hostess who was finishing up with a take away order and then again welcomed us after. She took us to a cozy table in a corner looking out across the room to expansive windows. The dining room was elegantly furnished with pretty hammered copper table tops and comfortable leather chairs. As we were seated the hostess said our server Cassidy would be right with us. Just a few moments later an adorable, bubbly girl came to our table to ask about our order. We started with the Baked Garlic Brie and it was probably the best Brie I have ever tasted (and I love Brie and have had a lot!!). We had a nice wine pairing with that. Cassidy also took our order at that time. I ordered the top Sirloin (done medium rare to perfection) and husband ordered the Rib Eye...also cooked perfectly. Cassidy kept an eye on us, brought the first course (French Onion fSoup for and Salad for hubby...all delicious) and then when we were finished with that, Cassidy was out with our steaks, sides, wine, etc. this was truly an unexpectedly wonderful experience and we both agreed it was five star food, service and atmosphere.
