The bar itself was Very dirty and not only we were charged $53 for two drinks , I'm sure this is because we were tourist , but doesn't give the warm and fuzzy about going back. I have been to many bars and these are my preference, but the unwelcome feeling was a little much for me. read more

If you're looking for a historical "dive bar" with alleged haunted vibes, great alcohol and beer selection, friendly service, and shuffleboard, this is the right spot. And we didn't even get to go for their regular karaoke which sounded like a great time! The original neon sign is super cool as well. Unfortunately we weren't able to see the haunted tunnels underneath the building but we had a great time here and will stop by for a drink anytime we're in Williams. We have been to The Canyon Club many times! What a blast! We are usually there visiting Williams and go there to do Karaoke and have a few drinks. The best time ever! Pretty much for locals only. No wait staff so you have to order at the bar which is not easy because the locals have it blocked off. Draft beer selection is just the typical stuff with a couple outliers. Probably 8 selections in total. read more

What a gem of a bar. I love a good dive bar, and the Canyon Club is a great one, period. I went there three nights running during my stay in Williams to see the Grand Canyon and just being the hell out of my home state of California for a blissful five days. This place hit all the marks for me in no particular order: Right on the main drag in town (historic Route 66), meaning easy to find and very close to a number of the nearby hotels and motels. You could easily walk there from a lot of places. Friendly, on the ball bartenders. Good prices and drinks poured right. Friendly crowd of mostly locals. Roomy without being cavernous. Other details: Three pool tables, if that's your thing. The longest shuffleboard table I've ever seen. Outdoor patio where folks can take their drinks and smoke. Up to date HD flat screens. We watched the last half of "The Punisher" one evening. Kariokee Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The guys running it will get you to sing, and no one cares how good or bad you sound. Fun place! My wife and I had a great time there last night watching Monday night football and chatting with some locals. Stupid ass Saints beat the Vikes but everything else was great. Sara poured great drinks and was very friendly. There was a free chili dog station for us to soak up some of the Jack and Jameson's. My wife very much enjoyed the pudding shots. Heck, no reason not to go back tonight. read more

This bar is one of the many located along Route 66. We were hopping through them and stopped in for a drink. They have some outdoor seating with a fund sculpture, and shuffleboard located right in the middle of the aisleway inside the bar. The day we were there, they were training a new bartender. The trainer and the trainee both seemed forced to be friendly and engaging. They both talked with us at different times and seemed somewhat scripted and asked us the same questions. Great local dive bar. Jackie-O is a great tea maker mixologist. She made an amazing hot toddy with honey, cinnamon, fresh ginger, lemon, orange, not water and of course- whiskey. All served in a tea cup. Karaoke is on the schedule for tonight. They also sell alcohol in the bar to take home. Arizona. read more

Local beer joint on the Main Street thru town. Obvious local regulars hangout there, and some are really really loud and obnoxious, making out of town visitors uncomfortable and concerned at times. Bartenders were friendly and welcoming. Prices were comparable to other places. I wouldn't advise going in there with a Bernie Sanders or Obama T-shirt because the evening might not end well. Overall friendly staff. read more

I've came to this bar to sing some karaoke . The karaoke guy Danny was great host. Played all songs I wanted. friendly people but service was left to be desired.beer was overpriced and serviced sucked. Couldn't buy any picture of beer. Bought a 7 dollar personal pizza was that was over cooked and hard. Wouldn't replace the pizza and wanted to charge me 7 dollars for another pizza. Bullshit! read more

We had the best evening of our whole vacation! It doesn't get any better than that. Loved Jackie the bartender, loved Jay the regular customer who gave the best karaoke show ever. And the same for 'Pandora's box' (check the ladies) and the shuffle board. We came in because of the outside patio. There was a guitarist playing. So bad we just tipped him to give him a little tender, love and care. And when I say bad, I mean really bad. But we were tired, wanted to sit down, and my friend wanted to smoke. After the cigarettes and the horrible songs we took a look inside. The first look isn't the prettiest. But that's ok. The atmosphere is so good! We wanted just one drink, but left at 1 am. Totally waisted, laughing like we never did before. We even got some Mexican food upon request. The don't serve food, but they just call you something. Good service! Would definitely go back, just for this spot. read more

The bartender did a good job serving but the guy leading karaoke said the n word in front of my black boyfriend and another black guest. When my bf went to tell the guy why it was inappropriate, he basically said "if they don't like it they can leave". I tried telling the bartender and she essentially said the same thing. We immediately left and noticed the only other black couple left immediately after as well. It's 2021, racism should absolutely not be tolerated. read more

I visited this bar many years ago when I was touring, Nevada and Arizona. It had a great atmosphere and the locals made you feel very welcome. The bar staff were excellent, were very attentive and would communicate with you. The drink was good too. I remember Jackie, Rebel and Yankee but can't remember the proprietor's name. I think that's quite funny, Rebel and Yankee, when you think about what happened all those years ago. Would love to go back again some day. read more

Terrible staff that you could tell didn't want to be there and it was a Saturday night. Dirty tables, the bathroom smelled like a campsite bathroom in the summertime. Local couples in the bar were cool though, which is why I gave at least a one star rating. read more

We had a blast! What a great bar! Stopped in the first night for a drink before dinner...it was quiet, only a few people there. Jackie the bartender was very friendly and poured good drinks. Decided to go back the 2nd night we were in Williams. It was karaoke night - what a blast! We had the best time. Jackie remembered exactly what everyone in our group (6 people) had ordered to drink the previous night. Karaoke was great, the DJ (L Boogie?) was great (and a Bears fan). Locals Big Bob, Janet, Dwayne and others joined for an really, really fun night. We'll be back! read more

I had high hopes for the Canyon Club based on both the Yelp reviews and the proximity to our hotel (the Grand Canyon Hotel). Unfortunately, I was put-off the moment my boyfriend and I stepped inside because the coked-out karaoke host got in our faces and tried to become our friend... "Where you guys from???" "LA." "Oh my god, no way?! Me too! What part of town?" "Silver Lake." "Oh my god! Me too! I'm a musician." "Cool." "Oh my god, we should meet up when I'm back in LA. I'll get your information in a minute." ...and then he runs back to his mic to introduce the next singer. His breath was really bad. The bartender was really trashy and gave me a lot of shit for not ordering my Screwdriver with Grey Goose. I didn't realize this was such a fancy establishment, what with the Kirkland Signature concentrated orange juice and all. We sat in the back of the bar and observed the rough-looking patrons while we finished our drinks, then headed back to the Sultana. read more

I stayed the night in Williams on Thursday 5/12. It was a stop over on a long weekend birthday road trip. We went to a few bars that night, and finally landed at Canyon Club. This was a great little bar, good beer on tap, jukebox, shuffleboard, and the best bartender west of the Mississippi. Jackie was a sweetheart! She was very attentive, funny, and you could tell she really cared about the people that came into the bar. Next time I want to get out of Phoenix, Williams is where I'll go, not Flagstaff. And Canyon Club is definitely going to be the place I'll hang out. Can't wait to go back! read more

"TWIN PEEKS" Seen the TV series Twin Peaks?" Lots of similarities You'll meet folks from around the world, locals and a few uniques. Lots of fun on Karaoke nights. Drinks a very reasonably priced. Only popcorn for eats. The shuffle board table in the middle of room seems odd but strangely enough it adds to the uniqueness of this place. The bartenders are very nice and hardworking. read more
