Reasonable and comfortable place to stay with young kids for Grand Canyon trip. The morning breakfast buffet had something for everyone. Parents appreciated choice of light and dark roast coffee, make your own waffle, oatmeal station, rotating sausage and bacon, and premade omelettes. The kids loved the juice, muffins and lucky charms cereal. There was easy and flexible seating. Everything was well stocked at breakfast and clean. The kids and adults also enjoyed the small pool (4.5 feet) and hot tub but they were closed due to pH issues our second night. Plenty of pool towels. This hotel clearly made to be convenient from families as includes a small store with chips, drinks and microwave burritos and mac and cheese. We got some deli meat, cheese and fruit from nearby Safeway one night, and we enjoyed early bird specials (4 to 6 pm) and kids' menu at Red Raven the second night. read more

We drove past this hotel in Williams on our way to our actual hotel, and when we saw our actual hotel, we came back here! They were able to accommodate us, thankfully. Very nice, fairly new hotel. Indoor pool and spa, but on the smaller side. Free breakfast, which we didn't partake because we were checking out, but it looked and smelled good! Loved how they had a welcome message on the television screen upon entering the room. The rooms were nice--very spacious and clean. Loved having the ice machine close to our room. It was mostly quiet, but we did have some people on our floor that were a bit noisy in the halls periodically. I enjoyed my stay here as my plan was to catch some of the Winter Olympics opening ceremony but also to rest up before a day outdoors about 30 min north of here. This is a fairly new property and everything was in good working order. Staff checking me in was very nice and when I got to my initial room, there was no bathtub, so I called down to see if I could switch to a room with a bathtub and lo and behold, there was one available, yea! Room was very comfy and clean, also with small fridge and the second room I checked into had a nice bathtub. But, interesting that the water faucet is not where the spigot is, not sure I have ever seen a bathtub like that. The complimentary breakfast was great, so many options. They even have baby scones, which are my favorite. Bagels, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, make your own waffles, fresh fruit, all kinds of fresh fruit, juices and coffee. Nice clean hotel. Staff very friendly. The only problem was the bed frame is metal and when you go by you can easily hit it and it hurts. I told the staff and they said they were aware and were working on putting cushions on them. The other thing was the smell of the water. It is well water and it stinks. I suggested they put a fragrance box in the bathroom. This is a very nice hotel. Breakfast looked good but we didn't have time to try it. Very clean & modern decor. Service by everyone there was stellar from checkin to breakfast bar. The first breakfast day we were there they offered western omelets, sausage and potatoes which were surprisingly good!! They even offered little lunch bags to grab to go - which I grabbed 2. This morning was scrambled eggs, sausage links and potatoes which was just okay a bit watery. Today there were no lunch bags with water available (Breakfast included is one of the reasons I choose this hotel as we are on road trip to 3 states and this assists with cost) The comments about THIN walls are insanely true! We had a loud neighbor we thought was in hallway all night when in fact she was in her room. That is main and only compliant as well as parking was limited at night. Stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Williams, AZ and overall had a great experience! The hotel was very clean -- rooms, lobby, and common areas were all spotless. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, and the kitchen staff kept the breakfast area clean and well-stocked with fresh food. The only downside was that the cable outlets/USB ports in the room weren't working, which made charging our phones a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything else was great. Extremely surprised, as I was expecting an outdated hotel, but this place must be new, everything looked clean and new. The staff that checked us in was friendly, cheerful and welcoming. Check-in was quick and off we went to our rooms. The rooms were clean, spacious and more importantly the bed was firm - which is important to me. We only stayed for one night, left early in the morning to catch the sunrise at the Grand Canyon. The one con of this location - parking spaces - very limited... if you come late into the evening, finding a space might be an issue. Enjoyed staying here. Service good, cleanliness good, amenities good. Heated indoor pool. Strong chlorine smell but that's what you get with indoor pools. I prefer lots of chlorine over someone getting sick or catching something. Bathrooms and water available in pool area. They have hot coffee and beverages available in the lobby including hot chocolate, tea, spiced cider. Spacious lobby/eating area. We had 7 families together and it fit all of us. Free Continental breakfast. Pretty decent. Some type of omelette/frittata, potatoes, hard broiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, bagel/toast, diy easel waffles ,pastries, etc. Didn't ask if they have almond milk. Gym was nice. Couple treadmills. Weights. Only complaint were the thin walls. Could hear everyone walking above me. Woke some of us up. There's a McDonald's, KFC, and Taco Bell. Great location if visiting bearizona and polar express. It's close to downtown. With a few good places to eat! We recently stayed a couple nights at the Hampton Inn in Williams, AZ while visiting the Grand Canyon. The hotel was clean and the room was nice. The only complaint I have the breakfast was just ok. It's about average for a free hotel breakfast. But, the one plus is they provide Hilton Honors silver members complimentary bottled water. A lot of Hamptons do not offer the water. If you are visiting the Grand Canyon and riding the train, this is a good location. If you are driving to the Grand Canyon, I recommend staying in Tusayan, because Williams is an hour both ways. read more

Comfortable king bed, microwave and coffee maker. Free hot breakfast each day. Fitness center and indoor pool and jacuzzi. Route 66/downtown Williams is about 1/2 mile away. Plenty of bars and restaurants and a Safeway. Of the 6 or 7 hotels in Williams, I would choose this one. Only Hilton property in Williams and no Marriott or Hyatt properties. Extremely happy with my stay here! Came here for a 2 week business trip, and if I ever stay in Williams again this will be the place. Pros: - THE STAFF - extremely sweet, warm, kind, and accommodating staff who were so cute when I left because they said they'd miss me! Haha. The staff were so great because they helped me keep on my healthy eating by keeping my frozen fruit and freezer dinners tucked away in the back since it wouldn't stay frozen in the mini-fridge. - GYM - larger gym than normal hotels have, Tv, cable machine, 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, exercise ball, and they supplied filtered water and towels. They even have a Pelotón! - ROOM - clean, roomy, modern, really nice quality and fresh-scented toiletries that are refillable and more environmentally friendly! coat hooks, responsive temperature control, high ceilings, nice TV. - PARKING - plenty of parking right next to my room, and I felt safe with a camera pointed right on it. Cons: - water pressure in the sink was very low, and the spout hardware pointed down a lot so it was hard to wash my cups and stuff. - could hear doors slam from time to time which woke me up but I don't know which doors they were. I recommend bringing a sound machine to drown out any hotel noise. - breakfast time very crowded and hard to get in there when I was in a hurry each morning to get to work. Not sure how to improve this-- maybe add a second tray in another area for hot food esp. the eggs? - water bottle refill station was weak then non operable. To work around this I refilled my water bottles at the cooler in the gym because the water flowed faster. read more

If I could give this property 0 stars... I would. The property is money hungry... as a new property they do not respect the loyal Diamond members. I booked the property 4 days prior, and the government rate was not available. The day of the rate was available and booked the rooms under the government rate. The property tried to charge me for the first set of rooms. The property stated my Diamond member status did not matter, and they refused to honor the lower rate. I called the diamond desk who ordered the property to honor the government rate and cancel the other reservation. Afterward the property charged me the higher rate. The front desk is rude and condescending. The property lacks amenities, is filthy, and not up to the Hilton standards. The property stated they are family owned, and family must maintain a dirty house. read more

So the hotel room was great. It was clean and the property was quiet, but that's not what made our stay amazing. He had to drive from California to Nebraska to pick up a trailer because our trailer that we use for work got stolen and of course everything is less expensive in other states than California. So that was our last hotel stay and when we were leaving, we got out to the truck and our battery was dead. Not sure why but all we wanted to do was get home. It was day five. I called up to the front desk after calling AAA And it was gonna be over two hours for them to get to us. At first, the girl wasn't sure if the hotel could help us. I went in and she called somebody well that somebody ended up being the general manager, Jose Casimiro. He did not hesitate to help. He brought his car over and gave our truck a jump. The customer service was amazing. We tried to tip him, but he said he was just doing his job and would not accept it. We are so grateful for his help. We highly recommend this property as if you are looking for a decent place to stay that's quiet and clean, but more importantly if you're looking for amazing outstanding customer service this is definitely the place to go. Cannot say enough about this place. From the front desk to the housekeepers to the breakfast crew, everyone here makes you feel like family. Everyone is so extremely kind and helpful. We got stuck here due to weather and a freeway closure. We could not have had a better stay. Shout out to Luisa, who drove us to get food, so we didn't have to drive in the crazy snowy weather. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and everyone was attentive, and the breakfast was perfect. We are frequent traverlers and have never received such amazing customer service or had such an amazing stay somewhere. We are planning to stop in here for a stay each time we're on a road trip. This hotel is less than 6 months old and offers great service and amenities. It's a great place to stay if you're visiting the grand canyon because of it's proximity to the Grand Canyon railroad and major roads. The staff was incredibly helpful! We needed some special accommodations and they made sure we had all we needed. When weather threatened our ability to stay for our last night, the staff helped us find rooms close to the airport in Phoenix and refunded our last night without hesitation. I've never stay at a Hampton Inn before but will absolutely return and recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Williams. The staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful with recommendations this place was spotless from the main lobby, The rooms & breakfast area. The pool was only area that could have been a little better but it was at full capacity so lots of people using the facilities. The complementary breakfast again went in with low expectations and was actually really delicious. I loved the red velvet pancakes and pastries selection. The bacon was really good too. The set up and design of the rooms was really thought out well for families and comfort. The beds were the only complaint I have they said they were queens but felt more like a full. But actual mattress was ok. I will stay here from now on when we visit Williams. read more

Was very happy with our stay at this Hampton. We arrived around 10pm and the two people who were working the front desk were super nice and helpful with information. The room was very clean and everything seemed new and/or updated very nicely. We took the train to the grand canyon and the train station is right down the street, so it made that journey east to navigate with our littles in tow. The only "issue" I guess if you would call it that, there wasn't a lot of options when it came to their breakfast. We didn't use any housekeeping, so I can't comment on that. Room was extremely small. Directv had 4 channels. There was a small stagnant pond that was a mosquito Playland. We was there for 4 days and not once was our room cleaned, trash not emptied. Just didn't seem to have the best service. Walls are so thin that we heard every word the neighbors said, no matter what time it was. Pool area was not very appealing. Went to use the grill area and we had to have the workers light it because they would not allow us to do it ourselves like we didn't know what we was doing. read more
