    Its atrraction at restaurant

Tourists beware. Looks can be deceiving. We stopped at Wild West Junction during our family trip to the Grand Canyon. From the outside, it looked like the perfect spot -- fun Western theme, charming decor -- but from the moment we walked in, things felt off. No greeting, no welcome, just blank stares. We had to ask if they were open, and were told to grab our own menus and seat ourselves. Once we sat outside, the cold energy continued. People nearby kept staring at us like we didn't belong. We were just a family with kids, trying to have a good time -- but we felt judged the entire time. Our server was the only bright spot -- she was polite -- but the food didn't help. My wife's burger was undercooked even though she asked for well done. The mac and cheese was ridiculously salty. Ribs were dry and needed hot sauce to be edible. The fries and tots were the only decent part of the meal. We paid nearly $70 for a disappointing experience and food we barely ate. I still tipped $7 because I'm not going to stoop to the level of how we were made to feel... but honestly, I wish I could get my money back. This place depends on tourism, yet made us feel completely unwelcome. We won't be back. Save your money and go somewhere that actually appreciates your business.

Fun little old fashioned place to stop and stretch your legs. The Saloon has a good variety of food and friendly staff. 1. Get a cup of chili...it's delicious. Not spicy. The whole family likes it and we all have different tastes 2. I got the loaded baked potato without meat and it was delicious and filling. 3. Hubs got some Mac and cheese with brisket and he really enjoyed that. The brisket was a great flavor and not overly Smokey. 4. Daughter got medium rare New York strip and it was the steak she has been craving for a couple weeks. Highly recommend this place.

Visited 2/19/2022 Gave this place a try because it was my lady's birthday and she wanted Prime Rib. Sadly Rods Steak House was closed and this was the only place serving Prime Rib on a Saturday Night. Unfortunately the cook way way way Over-salted everything. Won't be trying The Prime Rib Again. Now for the good. The Fried Shrimp although a bit overpriced was 5 Full Stars and among the Best we have ever had. The MixedDrinks also, Jack & Coke we're done very well. 4 Stars. The real mashed potatoes and the Country Gravy were excellent. Wish I could give this place a better rating but not this round. We will visit again for Appetizers and Cocktails and maybe a Burger A did only give 2 Stars because of the disappointing Prime Rib Dinner. Perhaps the steaks might be better. I sure did Miss Rods Prime Rib and Sautéed Mushrooms. Try Try Again

Best bartenders in town. Solid food and good company. Awesome outdoor seating when the weather is nice and even live music on the weekends.

Cons: Elevator didn't work and overhead light fixture inside the door didn't work and the cover was off of the light fixture. There was no action taken by the front desk person to make things better for me, the customer. La Quintas now have this great looking common area with a bar, lots of seating and all but no one is ever working the bar and it's dark due to not enough lighting. Very unwelcoming actually. I'm an older guy and limp around a bit so elevator not working is a problem. Fortunately our also older dog wasn't with us so I didn't have to carry her up the stairs to the 2nd story. We have stayed at 3 La Quintas in the last few weeks and 2 of them had elevators that didn't work. I am a long time La Quinta customer but now will not stay not only at La Quinta but also other Wyndham properties. Too many, if not all, are franchises and not corporately owned and managed. Wyndham seems to take no oversight responsibility for the properties and that's enough for me, as a gold rewards member and Wyndham credit card user to give them no more of my business.

It's nonstop work - from the early morning prep for gourmet breakfasts to the meticulous cleaning, thoughtful decorating, and personalized hosting that makes guests feel truly welcomed. It's exhausting, but when done right, it's magical. That's why we're so thrilled to share our experience at the Sheridan House Inn. This B&B doesn't just meet the high standards of the industry; it soars far above and beyond them. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident. The accommodations are among the best we've ever encountered - luxurious, spotlessly clean rooms with premium linens, comfortable beds that invite deep sleep, and thoughtful amenities that show the owners truly care about guest comfort. The Inn itself creates a warm, inviting environment that's relaxing yet elegant, the kind of atmosphere that's hard to achieve but makes all the difference. And the food? Outstanding. The breakfasts are gourmet masterpieces - fresh, creative, and delicious, prepared with obvious passion and skill. But what truly sets the Sheridan House apart and elevates it above and beyond any other B&B we've ever stayed are the exceptional dinners they offer. These are not your typical B&B fare; they're multi-course Michelin-style quality meals that are memorable, beautifully presented, and an absolute highlight of the stay. The location in the charming town of Williams is another huge plus. Williams is a great place to visit - from exploring the historic Route 66 vibe and gateway access to the Grand Canyon, to unique shops, railroads, wildlife parks, and hiking trails. The hosts go all out without making it feel forced - they're genuinely hospitable, anticipating needs and sharing local insights that enhance the stay. This level of dedication is rare and deserves recognition. Is it worth the money? Absolutely, and then some. In a world of cookie-cutter hotels and average B&Bs, the Sheridan House delivers great value through an unparalleled experience. If you're looking for the best bed-and-breakfast getaway - especially in the Southwest - it'd be hard, if not impossible, to beat this one. Highly recommended without reservation. Thank you to the wonderful owners, Debby & Mark, for keeping the spirit of true B&B hospitality alive and thriving.

It was your typical hotel, the room was bright and clean, the beds were very comfortable, the TV got a lot of cable channels, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. For that, we got a room for the night, an upgraded train ticket with the "Vista dome" car, and a bus tour of the Grand Canyon, including a very good all you can eat buffet lunch, and time to wander around Grand Canyon Village after the bus tour before the train came back. So sleep wasn't the greatest for the 2 of us needing to share a bed. After we got all together and dressed for the pool, we called to see what time it closed to find out it's closed for refurb. Now, since we booked through someone else, this was not told or written down. However, checking the hotel's direct site, they did indeed have this listed. So just a miss for us and if we would have known, would not have stayed here as the child in our group was promised a pool everywhere we stayed during our trip. The toilet paper? It's rough! I think noise isolation might be an issue if all the rooms were occupied, but there was only one other guest that night, I can tell because the other rooms were vacant with door ajar. The rooms are very clean, unique and do have a pretty deep historical feel to it. I greatly enjoyed the decor and bed was reasonably comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was far superior to the motel that we stayed in the night before. The location is close to a few food dining options in town. There is a vending machine in a guest break room with snacks and drink, but unfortunately the whole machine appears to be out of drinks, which was very disappointing.
