Gluten free is hard to knock out the park - while it wasn't knocked out, Wild does provide really solid gluten free options. I promise the further you get from gluten the less you recall how good is it. Loved that they have butternut squash ravioli on the menu - definitely feel the pasta was a little too al dente for my liking. Maybe I can ask them to cook it longer next time. If they could find a way to thicken/ sweeten the pizza dough crust I think it would be even better - but our mushroom, burrata, prosciutto pizza still did the trick. I'm very happy a gluten free place like wild exists! I will be back and will check out some of the other options. Super cozy vibes inside. One teeny tiny bathroom though but that's what ya get in west village. Keep on keeping it GF Wild!

If you need to eat gluten free this is the place for you. If you are connected to a person who is gluten free and you want to eat excellent food which they can eat, this place is for you! The restaurant is 100% gluten free. We were seated in the dining room which was preferable (had a reservation). It was quieter and slightly better lit. Service was 2/3rds good. Wine steward- nice job. Split a bottle among the five of us and still left some for later. Food service- friendly and accommodating. Waitron- lacked inattentiveness and was slightly indifferent. Only meh of the night. All entrees were excellent. The chew of the pasta and flavors of the sauces were top tier. Three of us had ravioli (3 different types) and two had pizza. I would eat any of them again. Desserts were good too. NY is lucky so have such a place!

100% gluten free! Mozzarella sticks 10/10. Calamari was good but slightly understated. Butternut squash ravioli was great. Rigatoni with meatballs was just average. Great restaurant for people with celiac! Restaurant was very busy so service was a little slow but they were very nice! Vibey ambiance. Great outdoor seating but also plenty of indoor seating as well.

For all the GF baddies who miss mozz sticks!

My second visit to Wild has been fantastic! Fabulous cocktail, mozz sticks to die for, and a GF pizza and pasta menu people dream of. If you are gluten-free, this cozy and friendly nook was made for you!

Tight Quarters, Modest Flavor -- but Quality Has Slipped We returned to Wild in the West Village for dinner on a busy Friday night, a spot we've visited many times over the years. The place was buzzing -- every table inside full, the narrow dining room and tiny kitchen making movement tight, especially with the bathroom tucked right next to it. Guests and staff share this single restroom, which makes for awkward congestion when there's a line. In summer, outdoor seating eases the squeeze, but in winter it's elbows all around. Wild's fully gluten-free menu leans Mediterranean, but this visit was disappointing. Our calamari arrived in a small portion, lukewarm, and with little care in presentation -- a far cry from past visits or other calamari worldwide. For mains, we had the pepperoni pizza, the "Skinny B--ch" vegetarian pizza, and chicken Parmesan with rigatoni. Portions were modest, quality mediocre, and everything arrived cold. The chicken Parmesan was thin and undersized, while the rigatoni in red sauce looked like something from a much lower-tier restaurant. We finished with caramel crunch cake and tiramisu -- both standard, rich desserts, but nothing memorable. Service felt rushed, with the server keen to move things along, even bringing the check unprompted while we were mid-conversation. Considering the portion sizes, quality, and overall experience, the cost of dinner simply didn't feel justified. The space would benefit from an upkeep-focused remodel that preserves its charm while improving flow and comfort. The bathroom, still gas-station-esque, remains a sore spot. Once a standout for casual gluten-free dining, Wild's quality has noticeably slipped over the years. #WestVillageEats #GlutenFreeNYC #SmallSpaceBigFlavor #DiningInNYC

such a cute place!! I'm not personally gluten free, but my two roommates are and they were so impressed with the food!! everyone was very kind here and the service was good. I definitely need to come back soon and try more of their items- the menu was big!! they also have cooking classes which seem cool

Cute place, friendly staff. Great gluten free restaurant in a great location. Appetizers were delicious! Meatballs, cáptese salad and the mozzarella are to die for. Did not love the chicken Marsala it was a bit different for me from other places. But overall it was a good meal and will definitely go back.

To clarify: I would give a 3.5 stars if it was an option, but it's not so! I'll start by mentioning the good parts: the butternut squash ravioli was incredibly delicious, rivaling some non gf ones I've had. The drinks were good too, and the fried artichoke appetizer was delicious. The service however, was mid bordering on rude. Our server's name was Kathy (not that she introduced herself to us) and we essentially had to flag her down whenever we wanted something. We were there for an hour and a half and she came to take our orders, to ask us mid bite if we needed anything else, then to comment on how much food we were eating by asking how our "feast" was. Other than the service, almost everything we ordered came out room temperature, which could be contributed to how busy and small of a space it was, but maybe they need to take a table out at that point. There was one bathroom for staff and customers to share, we were six inches from tables on either side, and it was almost too dark to read the menu. It's really nice to have a celiac conscious 100% gluten free kitchen, but would've been nicer if everything listed above was different.

I am gluten-free and I am always looking for a good restaurant that suite my needs. This place was perfect. My brother (not gluten free) said his pasta was the best he's ever had. I thoroughly enjoyed the bolognese it was perfect. I had the biggest mozzarella sticks that I have ever had. The soup tasted completely homemade with love. The service was great, it was perfect! My next trip to NYC I will be going back!

This is a must for all the Gluten Free people! My husband isn't GF and he enjoyed the food too. Check out the White Sangria and the Raviolis. Staff are quick and kind, with nice shady spots outside. I'm saving this to my list.

I swear I've been here, but I'm getting up in years and the lack of a previous Yelp review indicates perhaps not. Ay caramba. Regardless, we came here for a birthday dinner one warm, chaotic Saturday night. It was so busy and insane, the NYPD even came by at one point--though it was unclear if the manager had called them or if someone above had called the NYPD on the manager. The officers came out, took a quick look around, then turned around and drove off. No idea what the issue was. Your tax dollars at work, folks. Anywho, the food was your standard Italian-American fare without much to distinguish it from the ocean of similar joints throughout the city. We started with some mozzie sticks, which were appropriately bar quality, and Fried Artichokes, which were eh. On to entrees: My Spicy Seafood Pasta was about as spicy as a Westchester soccer mom. Points for above-average portions of shrimp, but minus 1K points to Hufflepuff for not knowing what a chile pepper is. The Chicken Parmigiano was better but still bland, while the Avocado Pizza won for weirdest dish of the night that still didn't taste all that great. I liked the side of Mashed Potatoes, I guess, but at $9 a pop, those better be made from actual Yukon gold potatoes (emphasis on the "gold"). I want to say dessert made up for the mediocrity, but I can't. The Chocolate Caramel Crunch wasn't bad, but my regular Cheesecake was...wrong. Weirdly dry, like it was made from vegan cheese instead of cream cheese, and lacking any discernible sweetness. And this is coming from an Asian gal whose favorites sweets are the "not too sweet" kind. I wouldn't order this unless you enjoy circular sawdust.

The broccoli was really good for some reason to me. Also tried the truffle mac and cheese which was incredibly rich and tasted great. As a dessert, we had the chocolate pie which was dense, rich, and topped with a huge dollop of whipped topping. I really liked the atmosphere of the place, loud roaring 20s style with jazz playing. But after all the hype, the Michelin buzz, and the impossible reservation, I left feeling like something was missing. The chrysanthemum salad is the real deal. Buried under a mountain of parmesan with a punchy dressing, it is bright and textural and honestly the best thing we ordered. Get it without question. The crudo was also a highlight: fresh, delicate, well-balanced. My only complaint is that it was gone in about four bites. The garlic flatbread, which is supposed to be a crowd-pleaser, came out genuinely soggy in the middle. Not in a good way. The edges delivered but the center just didn't hold up. And then there's the lasagna, the dish everyone tells you to order. The pinwheel presentation is adorable and I get why it photographs so well. But ours was sausage-forward to a fault, light on cheese, and swimming in a sauce that just didn't have much to say. For the restaurant's signature dish, it felt like a letdown. Don Angie is perfectly good. It is not a bad meal. But for the effort it takes to get a table, I expected more than a few memorable moments scattered across an otherwise forgettable spread.
