Tri-Tip Sandwich, Cilantro Lime Wrap, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Potato Salad, Strawberry Lemonade, Jack's Chili
    Cindy P.

This is inside of Bravo Farm. There's a QR code to scan for takeout and dine-in to make the process faster, but it doesn't let you even order. We sat down for this option, but realized later we couldn't add anything to our cart. My fiance and I order the Tri-Tip Sandwhich (you can substitute the coleslaw for other sides such as chili), Cilantro Lime Wrap, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Potato Salad, and a Large Strawberry Lemonade. We thought that Tri-Tip was good, but the sandwhich wasn't anything special. The Cilantro Lime Wrap was filled with veggies, this is a great option for healthy food, but it lacked in protein inside. Garlic Parmesan Fries were good, but we wished the fries were skinnier. The chili was so good, I would come back for the chili! Food took awhile to come out, not sure if this is normal, but you might want to place an order and then walk around the gift shop. It was also busy and on Mother's Day!

Very affordable and good portion sizes. All the food was fresh and the service was good and quick

We love both Bravo Farms locations! Depending on which set of parents we see, we'll be either here or the Kettleman City location. This location has improved tremendously over the years! Burnt Ends Burrito (4): This is a staple of ours. I tend to get this every time we stop. Great smoky flavor every time but the meat has changed from solid brisket to shredded beef. So this would definitely be worthy of 5 stars but I'm knocking it down due to my previous experience of it being some good fat chunks and shredded beef. The smoke flavor was still prominent and the burrito overall was still good. Classic Burger (3): Good burger. Nothing really spectacular but it was good. I wouldn't call it gourmet. Just your typical restaurant style burger. Beer (5): Worth noting. I got a blood orange IPA from (I forget which brewery) not sure. But it was delicious! They serve it in an ice cold frosty glass which kicks any beer up a notch. It was super tasty and complimented both the burrito and burger well. Overall if you're visiting Bravo Farms on your travels and you need some food, this is a decent option to 'fill the tank' or tide you over.

Burnt Ends Burrito and Loaded Buffalo Mac & Cheese.

Went with the burnt ends burrito and the buffalo chicken Mac n cheese. The burrito had potential however when the title says burnt ends but you find shredded beef, we call that lying. The buffalo Mac n cheese also had potential but they provided me with shredded chicken and not buffalo chicken as expected. I believe their fryer was down. Don't serve this dish or at least advise the customer there is no buffalo chicken and not supplement with another chicken unless the customer knows about it. That's a no no. I wouldn't have spent $ on this Mac n cheese then. This dining experience could have been an easy four stars. If I was able to eat the fried cheese curds, maybe five stars. Maybe this visit, the stars were not aligning

    Loaded Buffalo Mac & Cheese

very disappointed with this visit. I normally order the loaded tots (never disappointed) and they weren't available so i ordered the loaded buffalo mac and cheese. Bad move on placing this on the menu. It tastes like sour cream with buffalo sauce. there was like two pieces of frozen chicken and the bacon was gross, chewy and in large thick pieces. I have never had bacon in cubed like pieces. I arrived and let the attendant know I was there to pick up an order and this small cup was on the counter and she even said, "that's all yours!" lol never again. worst $9 I've ever spent. Angry chickz is $5 more expensive for this type of dish however you're getting a big portion and real chicken.

Food was good, but no longer pet friendly. Used to have outdoor seating for pets. Been awhile since I was here. Won't be back with pets.

Their tri-tip sandwich is fantastic. We also love their beer batter fries. Have their hand scooped ice cream for a delicious dessert

The only issue was that my breakfast potatoes were a little cold, but everything else was absolutely delicious. We ordered the flapjacks and the prime rib breakfast sandwich, and both were amazing. The flavors were excellent, the portions were generous, and the food was very satisfying. Despite the potatoes being cold, I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place for breakfast. We really enjoyed our first visit!

This place is SUPER cool and touristy as hell . There's so much random Wild West stuff to look at…read morethat you almost forget you came here to eat. They even have an ice cream shop, which is a nice bonus. The place is definitely showing its age, though. It looks pretty run down and about half the games and machines seem to be out of order. It's got a little less "Wild West attraction" and a little more "Wild West went out of business." The beer selection? Let's just say you won't get overwhelmed by choices. Then came the BBQ... somebody needs to check on that tri-tip because that thing was THIRSTY. Dry as hell and not much going on flavor-wise. Bring water for yourself AND the tri-tip. And the coleslaw... WHERE WAS IT?! I opened the container expecting coleslaw and got what looked like a tiny cabbage salad that had lost its will to live. No creaminess, barely any flavor, just a few vegetables having a meeting. The crispy fries actually showed up ready to work. Probably the MVP of the meal. Overall, it's a cool tourist stop with a lot to see, an ice cream shop, and a fun Wild West vibe. Stay for the fries and ice cream--just don't expect all the games to work or the tri-tip to have any moisture left in it.

I remember this spot from when I was a kid so I know it's been around for years, I just don't know…read morewhy I waited so long to try it. I also know through friends and acquaintances that this is a favorite local spot for many people, so I may catch some flack for this, but here goes...First time here. I had an appointment nearby so when my wife suggested a lunch date, I couldn't think of a better opportunity to try them out. As soon as we entered I was immediately put off by this "cafeteria" style ordering. For one, I tend to always feel rushed in these types of settings and I would prefer to take my time to look over the menu. Secondly I can't stand that restaurants (or any business for that matter) have the nerve to inquire about a tip before I've even eaten and less than 5 minutes after I walked in the door. Nevertheless I played it safe and settled on an original shredded beef sandwich, add mayonnaise, no cheese with BBQ sauce. Briefly admired the side orders before feeling rushed by the growing crowd behind us, added a slice of lemon vanilla cake, and ordered a drink. The shredded beef on this sandwich was near perfect. Tender, flavorful and juicy, no problem there. The problem is I can't understand with all that goes into the care and quality of producing such a good product as the shredded beef, you're telling me that the bread and/or bun it's served on has absolutely no relevance? Disgraceful. This is a restaurant, not a backyard BBQ. Is it asking too much to show a little care and consideration for the bun? How in the world can you serve a sandwich on a plain, cold, un toasted, un grilled, raw bun?? Charging 14$ for a plain sandwich with mayonnaise on a raw bun is wild. I did enjoy the shredded beef but just as I expected the majority of the bun was a soggy mess (which is why you don't serve on a raw bun) I tried both the chocolate and the lemon vanilla cakes and they were about the same in terms of being a moist cake that is completely slathered in a thick frosting that is far too sweet. I don't know what it is about this place but It's definitely not the shredded beef sandwich, or the chocolate or lemon vanilla cake...

Even now, whenever I have a reason to pass through town, I make it a point to stop by. The food has always been consistently delicious, with generous portions and flavors that keep me coming back year after year. What makes this place special, though, is that it's a true family-owned business with deep roots in the community. In a world where so many local restaurants have come and gone, it's great to see a place with so much history continue to thrive. Sal's is one of those restaurants that feels like a part of Selma itself. Great food, great people, and decades of memories. Highly recommended.

I feel we should've been seated at a regular table since it was a little squished. There was a lot of options on the menu to choose from. The waiter asked if we wanted anything to drink. Everyone got water and one also got a diet soda. We also got complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were crunchy and the salsa was your average salsa. I decided to get 2 item combination plate. I got the tamale and the ground beef enchilada. The plate comes with Spanish rice and refried beans. The portion would fill up someone who was hungry. Some of the people at the table had taken some leftovers home. The Spanish rice had flavor. The refried beans was average. Tamale was a litte dry so decided to put some salsa or the enchilada sauce on it. The enchilada was good. If you want a filling meal for a reasonable price, then this restaurant is a good option.
