This review is based solely on the drinks. Came here around 9:45-10pm and the staff was really accommodating for us with the change in our party (ended up initially going from a party of 5 to 7). Really appreciated that! I ordered the pandan coolada and matcha soda (I think the actual name of the drink is something like kiss me if you're Japanese). Both drinks were good, but not spectacular I guess? Didn't really taste the matcha or pandan flavors. I think the rest of my party also thought the drinks were solid, but not the best they've had. A couple hiccups that happened with one of our friends orders who ordered it to be THC infused, but they missed it. They ended up accommodating by giving him an extra THC shot which was very kind. The place is very cutely decorated and definitely picture-worthy for what it's worth. Prices are about what you'd expect for cocktails. ~$15 a drink without the THC/CBD. They do sorta push you to get it which I get it's their whole vibe, but I really just wanted a good cocktail and I'm not super great with THC or even CBD. Overall though, wouldn't complain if you're just trying to hangout with some friends and grab a couple drinks. Their food menu looks solid and I'd definitely be interested in coming back for brunch/dinner. I think I heard all entrees come with a side of THC? This was an accidental find, but glad we discovered it! I was in the area attempting to do some second hand shopping. When looking for a parking spot we saw the sign for Wild and had to look it up. The name makes you want to know more. Wild markets itself as a coffee shop, bar and a dispensary. It is indeed going beyond normal or conventional bounds! I do want to note that parking is an issue. While they have a lot, it is shared by a number of businesses and best of luck parking in their actual lot. We found parking on the street in the neighborhood across the street. Walking into this cafe you get the feeling of being transformed to an island. It gives off Tulum vibes. Think wicker and wood accents with floral! We were immediately greeted and seated. The service here is top notch. Our wait staff explained the menu to us since it was our first time. The thing to love about this place is that there is something for everyone. They serve alcoholic beverages, coffee and food. With the drinks and food options you can opt to add CBD or THC. However, you can get anything on the menu without any additions. We had recently eaten so we opted to just try a drink. We picked from the elixir menu. Another nice thing is if you pick an elixir without CBD or THC it's only $8. An elixir with CBD is $10 and witH THC it is $12. Our drinks came out quickly and were delicious. I hate that I did not get an opportunity to try anything from the food menu because they looked amazing! Very cute concept and ambience however me and my girls are sitting here outside wondering when our server will appear!! Mind you we had a reservation at 9 ( we were seated promptly) it's now 9:30. What a fun experience! I haven't been to Houston in a looong time and this place made me feel happy to go back because I loved their concept. It's a bar, restaurant, coffee shop and a dispensary all in one! They also have a lot of Asian inspired items on the menu like their pho flavored drink (weird, I know but trust me.. it's so good!! This was voted best drink from all 4 of us) and matcha/yuzu drink *not pictured: kiss me, I'm Japanese - my second favorite drink on the menu so far. Not a fan of the Hanoi Hi Five and thought the Pandan Coolada was just okay, but tastes better after you mix it! My friend recommended Wild as the next place we should try for our girl's night dinner! I was happy to oblige cause it was something new! The place is light, airy and full of plants/greenery inside - nice but not stuffy at all, it actually felt very causal inside. There's also a little store in the back that sells CBD infused items. The thing about Wild is that you can infuse everything on the menu with CBD, i.e the cocktails! I thought the drinks were decent and the food was ok. I wasn't wow'ed by any of the dishes but there was nothing to complain about any of the dishes either. Crispy Brussel Sprouts - deep fried. Tasted a bit bland to me. Chicken Fried Scallop - how interesting! The scallop was tender but the chicken fried part, aka the batter, was a bit on the salty side. Tuna Ceviche was on the very small side. Came with plantain chips to serve the ceviche on. Citrusy and refreshing. Brisket Fried Rice - to me was too bland and needed some more flavors! Overall, ok place. Would I be back, probably not. Especially not for the size of the plates and the price. Luckily we came when lots of the dishes were on Happy Hour. I got a pho drink and really didn't love it. It was spicy but didn't feel like the heat tied in with the rest of the drink. We sat in the side covered area and it felt super cramped, like we were on top of the other guests sitting in that section. Since it was raining, we wanted to shift around, but there was no space. Thus was hit with raindrops from time to time. Waitress was very nice and the decor is beautiful. Ingredients are good quality, and some people in our group liked their drinks. It was a bit disappointing though, especially since it cost $22. 4/5 - Chahan Fried Rice- ordered 2 orders, and it was oaky. Nothing special. 3/5 Large Shareables: - Crispy Thai Style Fish, it cost about $90 bucks.. and it was good, but you can go to an authentic asian place and get a bigger fish for less. ALSO, it comes with "sticky rice" and let me tell you, it's not spicy rice. It's. basic rice.. Wild has been on my list to check out for a bit now! I was finally in the area and stopped by for a coffee! It is very aesthetically pleasing and very instagramable. Although I specifically came for coffee, Wild has cocktails, a dispensary, and food items. I ordered a Turkish Delight and it was quite delightful! Upon my first attempt there weren't many available parking spots, but luckily the second pass I got the perfect front door access. The parking isn't the best so plan accordingly. It's the aesthetics for me!!!! As soon as you walk in you're greeted with this beautiful floral wall that just works perfectly for the entrance. The decor and placing of everything was well planned. Very pleasing to the eye. It was a VIBE! I finally made it to the counter to place my order and decided to go with something simple. I came here for happy hour with my friend the other day. The ambiance is very cute with lots of greenery, Wild has more of a restaurant vibe than a bar which is nice! We found out that they don't have a happy hour menu at the moment and that they are working on a new one which was a little upsetting but we did enjoy some drinks and appetizers. My friend got a margarita and I got a cosmo which was delicious! We also split the Valentine's Bluff (chicken wings) and the Buckwheat Tempura Cauliflower. Both were DELICIOUS had the sauces on both dish had tons of flavor. You could also add CBD in your dish and drinks which we declined but if you are into that then the option is available. They did still have availability for coffee, drinks and pastries. We all tried a spectrum of drinks. I personally had the iced white latte with CBD. It had a great taste and most definitely created a divine experience between the caffeine in the coffee and the even keel needed to level me out from cbd. The downside was that in Houston Texas which easily felt like a solid 106 degrees, there was only outdoor options as needless to say this place is very popular. I arrived and asked the staff about the article (showing a screen shot). They said they would not honor the prices as it was an error. I was pretty shocked because it was printed. They said they had no food specials until dinner (we were there at noon) and cocktails were $12. My group left on principle they wouldn't give us the deals. Heights Wild is much cuter and up to date. This was my first time at this location. Right now there's a lot of construction going on in the area and the parking is minimal. I absolutely love the entrance which opens to a full bar on the left and a "dispensary" on the right. There are tons of products and paraphernalia to choose from. We were greeted and seated promptly. If you were to participate in any smoking activities, you have to do it outside on the patio. It was literally 100 degrees outside and even with the fans on the patio it was too hot. The fried cauliflower was delicious but I'm not a fan of the infused drinks. My waiter was very helpful with explaining the interesting menu that they have and even gave us some great suggestions. Wild has been a wild experience for me, both good and bad. I've visited four times: twice on dates and twice with friends. Located off of Westheimer in Montrose, Wild is the first of its kind. THC and CBD-infused drinks and food in a trendy experience. In the years to come, I'm sure concepts similar to this will sprout up all over the place. They also have a second location off of Shepherd in The Heights. There are three main areas you can sit in: (1) indoors; (2) the front patio; or (3) the back patio. I recommend avoiding the back patio as you can smoke out there. Unless that's something you don't mind. The music was also super loud out there when I was there. To the point where it was tough to have a conversation. What makes Wild innovative is that they have a large list of CBD or THC-infused (take your pick) cocktails, beers/seltzers, and food. You don't have to order food or drinks with CBD or THC. They have a large list of beers and cocktails with alcohol. And all of the food can be ordered without CBD or THC. The food here is sophisticated and I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of good options to choose from including the shrimp fried rice. Though I will say that the entrees are pretty pricey. If you want to get a good price, I'd recommend coming for happy hour where they have nice discounts on some of their cocktails and some of their food items. The cocktails, similarly, don't come cheap. Three times, I've had great experiences. The service was solid, the ambiance was nice, and I enjoyed the food and cocktails. One time, I got extremely high. My friend I was with smokes on the regular and the same thing happened to him. I ordered the same quantity of food and drinks as I did two previous times (when I felt fine) so there was no difference in dosage. I'm not sure if they accidentally gave us a higher dosage than what they should have, but something happened. This experience impacts my overall feelings on Wild, as do the prices, but it is a cool spot and a unique one if THC and CBD is your thing. Upon entering, we walked up to the check in podium and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to even check us in. Multiple different waiters and hostesses walked by our group, made eye contact, and did not bother to check us in. When the hostess finally came to check us in, she told us that we were late for our reservation and that the tables were full. We made a reservation for a Saturday night and we were 10 minutes late, so they gave away our table. The sign In front stated that they would hold the table for 15 minutes. She then proceeded to tell us that the only table available would be in the smoking area or the freezing cold patio. The other option was to wait 45 minutes for another table to open up. RIDICULOUS WAIT TIMES for someone who had already made a reservation and horrible service, where customers are ignored upon entry. We ended up leaving and going to another chill bar instead. This place might be nice on a less crowded evening but I don't think we will be going back. Also parking near this place is horrendous! It took 20 minutes just to find parking unless you want to park very far away and walk. Overall, this place was just not worth the effort.
