cool spot that takes you to Brooklyn, NY! i had so much fun visiting this spot. Ample parking with several rooms and shops- including a wine bar and book shop. I tried the matcha, and it was delicious. I think i was overcharged (price did not match the menu) so be aware of that... besides that I enjoyed the ambiance and meeting the cute dog that walks around The List. There are plenty of nice rooms to relax in. They also hold events such as chess night and music events.
I LOVE LOVE LOVEEE THIS PLACE ! I came here recently for chess night, and i never knew this place existed in the montrose area until recently! They have chess night every Thursday and have a live radio as well! They also have a barbershop, plants, clothes and coffee! Its very small but same time its enough!! I tried their coconut matcha & it was so breathtaking!
With a comfy and trendy setting, and with their beans sourced from staple Houston roasters, I can see why The List gets a lot of love. However, our espressos weren't on the same caliber as many other shops in Houston. We weren't blown away despite the quality of the coffee or the hardware, unfortunately. When we were served the coffees, I had decently high hopes, because the style of the espresso was longer than what you may find in typical US specialty shops - which is actually my preference! Now, I'm not sure if this single origin espresso was not dialed in well today or if the shots didn't go to plan. Either way, both espressos felt flat. As to the setting of the place, it's a small spot, really best for grab-n-go, rather than hanging out for a while. I'd be more inclined to return if I lived in the area or if I was on a walk nearby.
Small, cute coffee shop nestled in Montrose that sells drinks, some shirts/hats, and succulents. Nice service and good vibes. Had a matcha latte while I was here and really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend stopping by!
You're stepping inside a unique ambiance at atmosphere. Shop is decorated and organized by an artistic eye and their staff is friendly. They have a nice selection of coffee menu with house made syrups and twist. I enjoyed my short time inside chatting with the employee and my coffee was delicious. Must stop if you're in Montrose.
Great service always consistent....... I come out for coffee and work time and always experience outstanding customer service.
They were a lil blended in with the houses so I never had seen it before! So it was my first time there. They have some parking next door that I hope I was allowed to park in lol. Please check first. Super cute on the outside and inside and I loved the door being open letting the good air in. The barista was really nice as well. I just stopped in and got a cappuccino. Pretty good. It think I will come back to try more drinks and look at their plants and clothes. They have tons of info and a shop on their website as well as a radio station! Come check them out.
Came here for an underground event that was absolutely amazing. Dfi Logic told me about the event and it was everything he said it would be and more. It's in the upper Kirby, Montrose area. It was a whole vibe and looked like a house party but it wasn't. The patio was definitely a vibe
Cute little coffee shop with some plants on the side. Very small and comfy spot. Coffee is great. The only gripes were 1) only street parking 2) there was no AC when I came to visit...it might've just been an unlucky day for me. Definitely plan on coming back!
A little shop with the best vibes and awesome drinks! I thought the prices were reasonable and the owner was lovely to chat with. They have a small patio that can hold maybe two or three people and also sell plants and some apparel. There's a barbershop in the back! Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Really cool spot and fantastic coffee as well, so definitely a winning combo! The building doesn't have a sign so just look for the numbers on the door to know you're in the right spot. Parking is on the street so I was able to park right in front of the entrance. For drinks, we got the cafe crème, ube latte, and the coconut matcha drink. All of them were so good but I'd have to rank it as cafe creme, coconut matcha, and then ube latte. We walked around and saw the art exhibit and the vinyl room. Super chill vibes. Def recommend checking out for good coffee and vibes! read more

Was definitely planning on gate keeping this spot but everyone should get the opportunity to check this place out. At first glance if you do not know what you are looking for you will definitely miss it. In a true speakeasy vibe the place blends in. Once you come inside it's like walking into a place out of the 80's in a good way. The coffee menu is limited but every drink I've tried has been 10/10. The barista is always extremely pleasant and inviting and I just love the vibe! This location does share a space with a vintage shop and a barbershop. You have quite a few seating areas, outside, right at the entrance, around back on the 1st floor. The best part? THE SECOND FLOOR! Not only is this place a coffee shop but it's a functional museum/art exhibit. The second and first floor have art on the walls and even a small gift shop in one of the rooms on the second floor. The location is open 7:00-4:00 everyday and they have evening events that are advertised on IG. Everything from chess and whiskey to jazz nights. It's quite a unique experience it more than a coffee shop. Not sure how to describe it, you just need to visit yourself! read more

Such a nice space! The barista Jonah was so helpful and nice. I ended up getting the ube rain latte and it was delicious. Not too sweet like lattes from other spots. And the upstairs lounge area was super cozy and perfect if you wanna hang out for while get some work done etc. read more

This place is hidden, but once you find it..it's something you can't help but look for. I can't believe I haven't heard about this place until now. The inside of this place is well put together; it has the perfect combination of relaxed, earthy, and dopeness. We had the pleasure of meeting the person that runs the shop. Brijan welcomed us with such kind and embracing energies. My friends and I will definitely come back! read more

while the place was cute and the espresso was a phenomenal shot, the chai was terrible. service was alright i feel like when i asked how the chai was and they explained it to me i got sold on a chai that would be strong with tumeric and sweetened condensed milk and it tasted like straight up water. like im telling you it was the weakest, worst chai ive ever had in my life and like as an indian person i just feel like if you're going to appropriate my culture like at least do it well. there are millions of videos on how to make a proper chai on youtube, watch one of those and then add whatever you think your artistic expression feels the need to. chai has spices and what i basically got was the watery tea that they serve to white people. really disappointing. read more
