I got my hair cut by Ivette two days ago. I thought about it for two days before deciding to leave this review. I'm hoping she'll take this as constructive criticism. She was the only one with recent availability. I think she did an ok job on the cut, which was $110 for long hair, $132 after tip. She styled my hair after the cut which was nice. Unfortunately the experience was very painful for me. My scalp felt like how my teeth would feel after a dentist appmt. Her long nails kept scratching me when she was grabbing my hair and she also pulled on the hair really hard while cutting and blow drying. I've been regretting not saying something to her at the time. read more

As someone who used to hate getting their hair cut, I absolutely love getting my haircut by Tamara. I was worried as I did not do a lot of research beforehand, but I had no problems. I am not great at describing what I want in terms of hair, but she worked with me to bring my vision to life. She is incredibly talented at hair-styling and will make sure your cut is perfect for your face. The hairdressers are all so sweet. Although they've made masks optional if you are vaccinated, I walked in with a mask, because I work in healthcare. Tamara, without prompting, asked if I wanted her wear a mask and this speaks volumes of how she is willing to e thoughtful of the customers who come in there. I listened to another hairdresser saying the same thing to another masked customer. They are extremely sweet at Wild Honey. Would absolutely recommend!! read more

I have had two great experiences here this summer: one for a cut and one for highlights and toner. I'm taking my hair back to its dirty blond natural shade, and Katie gave me exactly what I asked for and more. The highlights and lowlights feathered out my dark roots, and the toner rectified the brassiness and too blond ends. It looked really natural and tidy, while keeping me going in the right direction toward my goal. Katie was unavailable the day I went in for a long over-due haircut, so I had the pleasure of working with Tamara. I wanted to chop off my long hair and get the new bobbed cut which was just above my shoulders. She did an excellent job and the new cut looks amazing--I should have done this a long time ago. Both stylists are wonderfully talented and professional. You can't go wrong with either! Although I am always willing to pay more for a good haircut, the salon's prices are very reasonable in comparison to other places in Cincinnati. Emily is THE BEST !! I made a consultation with Emily so she could look at my hair and tell me how to fix it. I had previously gotten it dyed at another salon and they recommended a specific shampoo - upon using that shampoo my hair went from blonde to blue ... a total nightmare !! I tried getting it out myself for almost 2 weeks and had no luck but Emily managed to get it out within an hour and was so helpful in recommending products to help my damaged hair. I recently moved to Norwood and have been looking for a go-to place to get my hair cut. As a guy, I wasn't sure at first if this place was for me, but Megan did an awesome job. My wife said it was the best haircut I've had in a while, and I agree. Also, I like that they're progressive in their offering of "short hair" and "long hair" cuts, rather than the typical men/women distinction. Overall, I'm glad to have found them. read more

LOVED Wild Honey Salon! Found it on a whim and went to get my virgin brunette hair highlighted. Tamara was the BEST. Having only ever gotten my hair highlighted once years before (and still not fully understanding the process), she took the time to discuss with me exactly what I wanted and explained exactly what she was going to do - and then she did it with ease and pizzazz! I was worried my hair would be too "light" and not look natural, but it looked even better than I could've imagined in the end. She lifted the color (bleached) and then toned it down perfectly.
