Quick review to shout out consistently great service…read more I've been coming to this EWC location for almost a year now ... and have experienced nothing but positivity and professionalism. The girls at the front desk are always friendly and attentive ... and even if they do try to sell me on the monthly wax packages, they do it in a way that says they care about me saving money on services. Lauren has been my go-to technician since I started coming here ... and she's easily the best waxer I've ever had. She's fast and thorough, and makes you feel comfortable during the less enjoyable parts of a wax. I would definitely recommend booking with Lauren. That said, my most recent visit was with a different technician because Lauren was on vacation. I do wish the front desk had called me to let me know, because it was a complete surprise to me when I showed up for my appointment ... and it's kind of a process to prepare yourself when you're getting a wax from someone new. Either way - I still had a good experience, and already booked my next appointment.

I love the hard wax she used. She did tell me about the free eyebrow wax and also told me I would get 50% off each additional service, so I added another service. The front desk associate refused to give me the 50% off price. She told me the aesthetician was wrong and she would not honor what I was told. There are SO many specials, packages, discounts etc. Always being offered I can understand the confusion. BUT knowing I added an additional service based on the 50% off, it should have been honored. I will be looking for another place with better customer service.

Alesha and Kim are the best in Cincinnati. Super nice, always make you feel comfortable. Very fast…read moreand efficient! The location can be kinda hard to find if its your first or second time. The parking lot is in the back and there are plenty of spots. You can book online and they keep your card on file for faster transactions. My only negative is that the price for eyebrows seems high, most places are $10-15, they charge $17 I believe. But I'm all about supporting a local, female owned business. :-)

I went to Heavenly Bodies for my first time today, and Alesia took awesome care of me!…read more The wax was amazing, ten times better than the Brazilian I got at a chain last month. I always prefer small businesses to corporations, and today I remembered why. Don't be fooled by a coupon. This isn't a review for that other place, so I won't get into how awful it was. I'm just so shocked by the difference. Lesson learned: just pay for the service you want. Alesia was kind, quick, gentle, and thorough. The pain was barely noticeable. I have no shame or modesty, but even if you do she won't make you feel weird! Haha. I wish I could just make an appointment for you, that's how pumped I am by this wax. Also as a side note... I hate going places that make me feel weird about wearing a mask or asking to wash my hands. I'm higher risk, and it makes me nervous to try new places. Alesia offered me hand sanitizer when I came in, sanitized everything, had touchless hand washing areas, wore a mask, and opened the sliding door with her elbow. I appreciated that! The house is hardish to fine (it's pink, that'll help you see it!) and there's parking behind it. So much more comfortable than some chain place that looks and smells like a tanning salon. Honey, go get your wax!!

I was in town for the day but n a work trip and found Empire Nail on Yelp. I was able to get in…read moreright away for a gel builder nail refill and a pedicure. They were extremely friendly and customer service oriented. The nail shop was comfortable and clean. The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is because I went in with a broken nail that I had glued, and when we were working on the nail, it seemed strong but yesterday that nail broke and now I am not able to get to another nail salon anytime soon. So I am bummed I now have a broken pinky nail, especially because we used a cat eye polish that I don't know I'm going to be able to find in another city to get this Pinky fixed so I am probably going to have to get all of my nails done again. Otherwise I enjoyed my experience at Empire Nail and would go back if I was ever in the area again.y

When I called Julie, the receptionist out on it, she made it feel like it was my fault "that's the massage you booked" Julie could use a dose of customer service training. It should be a welcoming experience but it feels more like an inconvenience to her. Have had lots of facials in the past. Have not been impressed with the facials here.
