I've since called four different places that thread and tint and not one has quoted me over $25. I even asked all them are sure? For both it's $23? Yes yes it is! I feel ripped off and cheated by two ladies I trusted and believed were offering a great service. I will never be back. You just follow the signs up the stairs -- and you'll find yourself in a cute and calming, spa-like waiting room. I'd only just sat down when Manell came out to introduce herself, and bring me back to her room. I let Manell know that this was my first time threading, and she walked me through the entire process in an encouraging and professional way. While the sensation is different than waxing, the pain level is about the same (pretty minimal). We did have to pause a few times throughout the appointment because my eyes were watering -- but Manell assured me that was perfectly normal, and continuously supplied tissues for me to use. I was shocked at how fast we were done -- and absolutely loved the results. I also appreciate how natural the whole process is. The glue smell was so strong and my lashes were being pulled the entire time. Once my lashes were done, they looked good but looks can really be deceiving... After a day they felt so heavy and started coming off. The lash quality was so poor and she applied lashes that were stuck together instead of individual lashes. This I did not notice until they started coming off. They were wonky after just 2 days and I had to get them removed 5 days after getting them done to avoid my natural lashes getting completely ruined...
