I was looking for a reasonably fast takeout dinner and remembered ordering from Kam Luang about six…read moremonths ago. According to my previous Yelp review, they were quick, the food was hot, and I especially enjoyed the Chicken Cashew. This time I ordered the Chicken Cashew again and decided to try the House Special Lo Mein (small), which included shrimp, chicken, and pork. The total came to $23 with tax. The woman at the counter said it would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes, and about six minutes later I was walking out the door with two bags of food. Five minutes later at my hotel, I opened the containers and found everything was still piping hot and quite tasty. The Chicken Cashew came in a relatively light sauce with diced zucchini and wasn't overly salty. The House Special Lo Mein was also very good and surprisingly generous for a small order. The meal included a small container of white rice and two fortune cookies. Kam Luang Chinese Kitchen has a few tables, but it's primarily a takeout restaurant. In fairness, the dining area looks a little tired and could use a facelift, but the food has been consistently good, the service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, another solid experience. Four stars, and I'd happily return.

No matter the day, the wait is never more than 20 minutes when we call ahead and it's clearly just a smooth operation inside.
