This was our second time ordering from Szechuan chicken since the Covid situation began. Everything was OK the first time we ordered so we tried again the other night. We ordered a pint of wonton soup and two combination dinners. One was orange chicken the other was General Tso's chicken. The soup was excellent and the eggrolls were very good and crispy. When it came to the main dishes they tasted almost identical with a lack of flavor. The General Tso's chicken did not have that sweet tangy sauce that I am used to. The orange chicken had pieces of orange rind but no orange flavor at all. I doubt that the cooks are tasting the food that they sell, which is the first step to a restaurant going out of business. The staff is very friendly and all Covid precautions are followed. With so many Chinese places to choose from in the area, I will go somewhere else next time. read more

I received someone else's order. It happens. I did take some of the white rice out to give to one of our dogs that had an upset stomach, prior to opening the rest of the 56.00 order. BTW- the rice is free. I returned with the order and they wouldn't make the right order, embarrassed me in front of other customers saying "you eat food. Not return " so now they have the food and my money. Yeah, I wont ever go back after ordering here 5 years. I'm done. THEY COULD HAVE ATLEAST GIVEN ME THE ORDER BACK. I got the broccoli and chicken lunch special with hot and sour soup, I loved the hot and sour soup because it was nice and spicy, there is a decent seating area inside. The customer service could've been better honestly. Otherwise this place was nice, great selection of lunch specials at great prices. read more

The place makes very good Chinese food and I'm a repeat customer. It's not the closest Chinese to me, but worth the extra ten minutes to my drive. They are fast. I find the food quality there to be above average for Chinese and a little below average on cost. Friendly staff. The building itself is a little run down hence not a perfect 5 star. read more

Best rice in the game, no joke. I've never had white rice like this--moist, chewy, just fantastic. General Tso's is great too. It's actually crunchy! My girlfriend likes Wasabi Wok which has atrocious General Tso's. Tastes like it's made ahead of time, stale, dry, ugh. For a Chinese takeaway, can't go wrong. Wished you guys deliver! Giving 5 stars to offset that 1 star guy. I get it, horrible experience, fine, but I've never had one, so I'm guessing yours was a fluke and these guys don't deserve to be judged like that. read more

Ordered last night... Food was pretty good. However... I ordered beef and scallops, which lists a few vegetables, all of which I like, I didn't like the fact that they added 3 things that were not on the list... Peppers onions and celery. I love this place. They have the best egg foo young I've ever had. The gravy/sauce is amazing. Other dishes are good as well, but that is my favorite. Tonight I got that and Crispy Shrimp w Special Sauce, which is so much food, it will last about a week. There were almost 20 shrimp w a crisp breading, as advertised. It was a drier, not greasy breading and tasty. The prices are great. They haven't raised them in a year. The lunch specials are cheap; under $6.00 w soup or egg roll or soda. This is a family owned business and they work hard. They are open almost every day of the year and open late. The staff is very friendly and like I said, extremely hard working. They have it down after 30 yrs, so most orders are ready in 10 mins, maybe 20 if it's a huge order or super busy. I even got a free liter of soda tonight. You can't beat that. I live in Bound Brook (not San Francisco) and am glad this gem is in my town. read more

I've been going to this Chinese restaurant for the last 7 years maybe longer ordering the exact same thing every time I go. the last five times I have gone and like I said I get the same thing Orange chicken special and chicken wings with egg roll which is free and the prices keeps changing and going up and up and up and is it's not fair at all then the lady wanna argue with me cause I'm asking her why is the price always different and never the same. Couldn't even give me a proper answer then she says well the menu price is going on in two weeks so it's gunna even higher like wtf really. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE and NO CUSTOMER LOYALTY. We've been ordering from this place for the past 3 years with no incident. Then when Covid lockdowns began, we started ordering takeout. Last Sunday 11/29, we called in a $40+ order for 3 people as we always do. We were told over the phone we were Order #63. I picked it up and tipped heavily, but when we got home and started to eat, we realized they gave us a completely wrong order, Order #46 for someone else. I called them immediately, and they told me I had to come back with the wrong order. I went back, and the woman said she would have them cook our order again. I sat in the lobby with my mask for 35 mins. When it was ready, the manager then stepped in and said I had to pay for the 2nd order "at a discount." I refused stating I already paid in full with tip for the original pickup, and should not be penalized for their mistake. I also reminded them that we've been ordering $40+ orders faithfully for the past 3 years, but apparently that means nothing, just the bottom line. They refused to refund me, and now was stuck with no food and a debit charge I now have to dispute with my bank. Not even an apology from these people. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, JUST YOUR MONEY!!! 3 years of our consistent patronage apparently means nothing to them. We will take our Chinese takeout needs elsewhere. read more

Called in an order and was able to pick it up in ten minutes. Great fast service BUT the shrimp and broccoli lunch special was a huge bomb. I received a bowl of stale looking fried rice and three pieces of broccoli and 4 small shrimp. I literally picked through the fried rice and it had four little pieces of pork and three little pieces of onion. The meal was an aluminum take out container filled with rice. I also had the most bland egg drop soup ever. read more
