If you're leaving 1 star reviews for hard-working small businesses especially post-COVID, you have no life. This place is great. Food is fantastic. They're challenged with staffing so you have to be patient. The people have been friendly every time we order. We're rooting for this business to succeed. The Black Bean Chicken is my favorite. read more

I LOVE Wild Ginger but my last visit to them I was very disappointed with the food. Every time I go I always get the same thing which is the Shrimp and Broccoli and Fried Rice. The portions were very small this time around , normally the containers are filled no matter what the size is. read more

This was a most unexpected and enjoyable experience! When looking for a local lunch spot, my fam was in the mood for Thai, so we gave this place a shot. It was the middle of the day on a Friday, so I wasn't surprised that the place was empty except for one couple. Obviously, we were seated immediately and we got menus. As with most Thai restaurants I have been to, they have decor that puts your mind at ease. As we looked through the menus, I was excited by how much variety they had. I decided to go with their mango salad which hit everything just right. Now, I usually don't care for lettuce in my salads because of how generic it is (I prefer Spinach and dark greens), but this lettuce was so crisp I couldn't help it. And the mango dressing was definitely pureed fresh mango, and it tasted absolutely wonderful! My Dad and I also shared a "Happy Meal", which is all sorts of meats on one festive dish. The chicken wings on there were among the best wings I have had from an Asian restaurant, and may even compete with some of the best Korean Fried Chicken I have had. Other things on the plate included chicken tingers, ribs, spring rolls and crab rangoon. I would be happy to get that any time that I am in town. I recommend this spot to anyone who stays or lives nearby. read more

Dine in service not available. One of our orders was chicken instead of shrimp. Fried rice was great

Terrible customer service. Very short working hours. They are not open for lunch and they stop taking dinner orders at 7:45 pm. Why are they even in business?? Also very rude read more

Expensive and sadly average Asian food. I ate at a Winder Ginger in Seattle. This place is a big step down from that one. I was the person in the restaurant at 7:30 PM on a Monday night. That is sad. Pan fried Dumplings were good. Salad was good. Triple Delight and Beef lo mein was average. Paying a premium price for mediocre main course. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't great. read more

Food very good but I had no idea that everything was really takeout. No table service although there are many table/chairs there. I you really want to eat there you can but it is all take out style, small refrig to buy drinks from but nothing served at the tables read more

This was a huge, really pleasant surprise. We ordered (takeout) green beans with cashews, vegetable mei fun, and tofu broccoli. Everything was so much better than I thought it would be. I wasn't really hungry, and had had Chinese recently, but the remnants of hurricane Ida were dumping buckets of rain and this is very conveniently located near a few hotels, one of which we were staying at. That worked out well and I will actually seek this place out next time I'm in the area. The green beans are tender and have just the right amount of garlic. Perfect. The tofu broccoli is in a brown sauce that is very flavorful and tofu is perfectly done. The mei fun is also very flavorful and I thought it would be plain. Instead, every ingredient stood out but yet they all blend together beautifully. All of the dishes were unique and really good. Kudos to chef! read more

I've never ordered something that I didn't like! I just ordered their shrimp & garlic sauce & it was the best I ever had! Their boneless ribs are always on point! Singapore mei fun, two thumbs up! The pork egg rolls are tasty & moist. The daughter entertains while the wife runs for the food in the kitchen. Not eat in right now but the BEST take out in the area! read more

Best Chinese Food we have ever had and the portions are the largest ever also. Highly recommend.

Disgusting: your one word review for Wild Ginger. I ordered Pad Thai and got a dish of rubbery noodles, with a red sauce that has no flavor and is not even close to what pad Thai should taste like. The dish was cold, and bad to the point that I decided to not eat it. Another person in my group ordered red curry chicken, which came with rice so hard and dry that it could have been used as a replacement for the peanuts in the Pad Thai that they forgot. The chicken was undercooked. For $11 a plate, I'd sooner eat Panda express or some cheap TV dinner Chinese food. This is my first and only time at Wild Ginger. There are plenty of other restaurants for you to choose from and you should stay away from here. read more

I love crab Ragoon and no matter where I go I always want to try. I just purchased from Wild Ginger and I am very unhappy. The wonton wrapper is under cooked. The crab filling, I should say what Crab filling. I'm very unhappy with the eight tiny pieces that I received for six dollars.... read more

The food is the best that I found in the area. The people are very nice. When you eat in presentation is great. They also give you wonton strips with a sweet sauce as like a precursor to your meal And then you get some orange slices at the end to cleanse pallet. read more

Very nice and clean restaurant, run by what seems to be a cute asian couple. Not a large selection, but everything that is in the buffet is tasty, unlike the many large "supreme" buffets. Soups are especially tasty, salad is fresh, food not too spicy, just right! Service is quick and helpful. Highly recommended! read more

I'm amazed at how many positive reviews this place has despite that it's very basic Chinese food at best. and we were only going there for our Chinese food needs in the first place because the only other option in town is the place on Cedar Grove Lane which is even worse. also, the last few times that we ordered, we noticed that the food quality has gone way down especially since Covid and that they no longer have restaurant seating and that they don't even open for lunch... this means that the food is not being sold quickly enough and is most likely close to expiration... the veggies never taste fresh and the crispy noodles for the soups are not crispy... and lately, they do not even answer the phone, they only do walk-in orders or thru uber eats, etc. and i think they may even be living there... i took a look behind the curtain last time i was there and i saw beds and kid's toys... we actually discovered House of Wong in Bridgewater. a little farther ride for us, but the food is excellent. try it out... read more

Although I've experienced better, this place was still a-okay so 2.5 stars. Shrimp Pad Thai - Good God...just avoid it. It's not that it was repulsive, it's just that it was absolutely bland. This is undoubtedly one of the worst Pad Thai noodles I've had in a long time. It just lacked flavor...and I don't mean "they didn't put enough of the secret sauce" but more like "I think they completely forgot to add the sauce". That how bland it was. It was edible, but not at all what I expect Pad Thai to be. The only positive of this dish was that they didn't seem to skimp on the shrimp. Lots of big morsels of shrimp! The tofu used looked like long skinny strips of purple eggplant instead of the usual bright red cubes. Also I don't recall ever having Pad Thai with bell pepper. Again not terrible but not exactly what I was expecting. My recommendation is just to stay away from it. Sesame Chicken - Not bad. Exactly what you'd expect with Sesame Chicken. Sweet but not too sweet. Pieces were not too small, nor too big. Definitely on par with Chinese take-out food. Their menu says free wi-fi and BYOB. read more

Was having a gathering nearby we decided to order food for pick up here. I ordered a general tso's bean curd, specifically asked if they could fry the tofu crispy bcuz I don't like soggy tofu. The woman taking the order said yes. Before hanging up the phone she repeated our order and said "tofu fried crispy". My friend gets back with the food. The tofu is sliced in huge chunks....SLABS if you will and soggy!!! The breading falling off as I attempted to it eat. I paid too much to not get what I asked for. read more

Ok let me start in saying that I have not tried to order food here but I love the buffet. The food is always hot and ready to go. The refill there food and make sure its always full and hot. I have never seen workers rush so hard so the customers can get food. Its a small little place in a small strip mall. When your in a rush on your lunch this is a great place to go in or take out. My adventures here are always on my friends lunch and we only have an hour. SO It makes me happy that I can get at least three servings in before they have to go back to work. The price is very fair and reasonable. Its under 20 bucks which is great. ALL you can EAT. As well there is a little bar/resturant in the corner of this mall call Freddys. I will write about that in the review for them. so check that out. read more

Food here wasn't too bad, but the service was pretty mediocre. My partner's soup had ingredients that weren't cooked all the way and it took our server almost 10 minutes to even come back to the table to check on us. Just like good service is useless with bad food, good food is useless without good service to go along with it. I won't be coming back here, not because of the food but rather the service. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Dude hung up the phone on me after I dared to simply ask why he was charging $10 for 3 chicken wings. I was a loyal customer for years keyword: WAS even throughout their COVID staffing issues, erratic hours, phone line not picking up etc. I don't know if they have new owners or what but I never paid $10 for 3 wings. So you're telling me you're gonna charge me upwards of $30 if I ordered my typical 10 wings? I tried asking "when did you make such a dramatic price change?" but he literally said in an annoyed tone "thank you bye bye." The lady that works there with the daughter is great but she hasn't been there recently and it has been this guy. Oh well...you lost a consistent PAYING customer. I'll just give my business to one of the two other Chinese restaurants we have in the neighborhood (Advice: When you're not the only game in town think twice about having a bad attitude. We have options). read more

Best Asian cuisine in town. Period. Staff is extremely friendly, and usually playing quiet family-friendly radio in the background (STAR 99.1). Food is outstanding, we have eaten our way through the menu and hardly found a dish that we weren't pleased with. Food is not over seasoned and not at all "greasy". You can eat a full meal here and not have that "Chinese takeout" feeling in your gut afterwards. Even the fried rice is light and doesn't turn hard in the fridge overnight due to lack of high fat content. Some of our favorites: masaman curry chicken, house pad Thai (ask as it's not on the menu), Thai casserole, Seafood Mala, and chicken in black bean sauce. read more

Hands down best Chinese I've ever had. My family literally does not eat Chinese unless we can get it here. Every dish we order is perfect. Crunch vegetable, hand cleaned/butterflied shrimp, the best mooshu I've ever had. Not sure why this place doesn't have a solid 5 star review. Maybe they switched owners? I don't know but all I can say is try this place and you'll be happy you did read more

$7 buffet lunch. Greasy, goopy, run of the mill chinese food. Edible but not delicious. Not bad for a fast, cheap lunch.

Place is good for a quick lunch. There is nothing special about this restaurant. It is clean and the staff is good. The food is not hot (temperature). If you like chicken, they have prepared it several different ways. read more

The people who work here are very nice... and there isn't much else around... but I really haven't cared for the food I have had here. I hope if I go again I will be updating this review with a better rating. The first time I got the veggie Singapore rice noodles to-go. When I got back to the hotel I realized I received the dish with chicken, shrimp, AND pork (vegetarians beware)! The flavor was good, but the dish was a bit greasy. The second time I went here I decided to eat in to make sure my order was correct. They probably do good lunch business with the buffet, but dinner is pretty slow; there were only a couple of other diners there. I ordered the veggie pad thai. It was probably the worst pad thai I have ever had. There was something sour and off about the flavor. I was hungry, so I ate some of it anyway, and I really regretted it. I brushed my teeth, flossed, and took a double-Altoid dose to try to get the flavor out of my mouth... it lasted for hours. It might be a while before I can try this place again. I really wanted to like it since it is near where I stay for work. It's a shame since there are nice people working there, no competition, and many business travelers nearby with limited dining options. read more

I was pretty disappointed as a person who really enjoys take-out chinese. For the price, I was hoping for more. I also think when you get Gen Tsos and say you want it spicy, it should be somewhat spicy.....Mine was just sweet, almost too sweet. Family's first time here. It's a cute little casual restaurant. The food is not all that great. Well to me at least. I guess it's because we're here at the end if their lunch buffet and everything is almost finished. The staff are really sweet and are quick at taking the plates away as soon as your finished. But again, the variety of food can be better. read more

At first impression this appears to be a confused dining spot. It has a cool new vibe with stylish lighting and seating, but in the back of the dining area they have a big stainless steel food bar for all you can eat. I have ordered takeout from here a few times with mixed results, sometimes you can only do so much well but today I tried the buffet again for the first time since they opened and it was really good. The place was relatively busy for a thursday lunch with almost every table taken so the food was coming out steadily and fresh. They have a relatively small buffet compared to most places but they have most of your staples. I prefer my general tso's a little less sweet and a little more spicey and I really missed having those chiense donuts but otherwise everything was good. Much better than the other local buffets. read more
