Came here on Wednesday night so we got to enjoy some live music during our dinner! Ambiance is beautiful. The restaurant is actually very spacious inside. Loved everything from the soup dumplings to crispy duck. Ended the mean with some matcha ice cream. They even have a lot of veggie options. Their cocktails and menu are very creative - have a look at the pics! Please support your local businesses!

Literally found a roach in our cup when we ordered canned cokes. Felt so sick and upset so we asked for the manager but the owner came. Not a single apology and he just kept trying to take our cup away. During the midst of all this, our entree arrived and we didn't want to eat it obviously. The owner's response to that: "do what you gotta do." So I'll do what I gotta do and at least warn others before they think about eating here.

Excellent Tai restaurant Delicious house salad with mango and amazing dressing. My Chicken Pai Tai is Amazing with a little spice added to the flavor. Nice portions as well.. My waiter Tsering was Excellent as well courteous fast service and a wonderful attitude. The place is located in the heart of Great Neck and is a gem of a find, will be back.

I went here on a weekday night with my grandparents and uncle. We have been going to this small local "chain" restaurant for a few years now and they have never disappointed. This restaurant is huge so big parties can be well accommodated. We got seated promptly and the host was very nice and happy to see us. We started off with edamame which was lightly salted and steamed to perfection. We all loved the edamame appetizer. I ordered the tamarind wok glazed chicken. I really enjoyed it. The meat was juicy and tender and the sauce lifted up the chicken flavor. Only thing I wished for was a touch of spice to cut some of the sweetness of the sauce. My family liked what they had to order which were the duck tacos, and the wok steak. We had matcha ice cream for dessert that I thoroughly enjoyed. Matcha is my favorite ice cream :) Thank you for having us, we will be back !

Solid spot. Always fast and quality spot for a business lunch. I recommend this restaurant, to anyone in the area!

Went to Wild Ginger with some coworkers for lunch on a Friday. I had been to other locations of this chain, and they pretty much serve Americanized versions of basically every type of Asian food. Lunch specials run about $10, which may be common to the NYC area, I'm not sure. I ordered the Singapore noodles, which resembled Singapore mei fun, and requested that they make it spicy. It wasn't spicy, but it was decent, if not a bit oily. The presentation was good since it was served in a tiny wok, but I could definitely see the pool of oil at the bottom of the wok once I had finished. Not bad, not great.

I rely on Yelp Reviews to select places to eat this please didn't have that many stars so I was going to skip however I needed to get California rolls for my daughter and I was in the vicinity. My husband was looking over the menu and found some items that looks good so we placed an order and I'm happy we tried it. We place the order and the food was ready within about 15 minutes. The price was OK, definitely want to try their lunch specials to see the portions vs price. To mention - the food was very fresh, and it was a good sized portion. The sliced flank was VERY flavorful and aromatic!

When we arrived, I asked if we could sit outside, and the owner had no problem with that. While we were enjoying our meal, one of my friends mentioned that the edamame needed a little more salt. Seeing the owner outside, I politely asked if we could have some salt. To my shock, he suddenly started yelling at me and told me that I was being rude. At first, I thought he was joking, so I responded, "Can you imagine how rude I am to my husband?" His response was completely inappropriate and offensive. He said that if he were my husband, he would slap me on my behind over and over again in a sensual manner and that I would enjoy every moment of it. My friends and I were absolutely stunned. When I asked him to stop and bring us the check, he then said that "you Jews always give me problems." A few minutes later, after I told the waitstaff that I intended to share my experience on GN Mommies, he came over with hot sake to apologize. He even offered to refund our meal, but I declined. I don't want anything from someone who makes hateful remarks about Jews. After living in Great Neck for 40 years, I have never experienced anything like this. As a Jewish resident, I was deeply offended by both the inappropriate sexual comments and the anti-Semitic remark. I will never set foot in this restaurant again.

This was the perfect venue to celebrate my dear friend Rich's birthday. The immediate reaction upon entry and seeing the decor and lighting was Wow! That stayed with us as the service from Alex and Henry was outstanding - very attentive, kept bringing us hot and I mean fresh and hot pots of the gorgeous tea; gave us time to peruse the big menu and then picked up dishes in seconds. Very professional and courteous. The table settings and dishes were exquisite. The food was divine. The House special Wonton soup was loaded and so flavorful. ( photo) . The entrees - the chicken teriyaki and the gluten free ( lots of options) shrimp were delicious. The accompanying bowl of brown rice was really good. This was a very small part of a very extensive menu featuring sushi, special rollls, Chef specials and gluten and kid friendly selections. Something for everyone! The atmosphere was relaxing. There was a big wedding party in the center of the restaurant and it made everything more festive and fun and we still enjoyed our conversation just 30 feet from this group. It came to $154 for the 3 of us for a wonderful and ample lunch( leftovers) plus tip. Absolutely worth it for this quality and excellent service. Moonstone has a private parking lot to the west of the structure allowing for a stress free visit in this busy area. 5 Stars to the Moon( stone) and back! Loved it!

The restaurant has crisp white tablecloths, and the bathroom is always spotless and well maintained. It's a comfortable and inviting place to enjoy a nice dinner. Everything flowed seamlessly, and they made us feel truly valued and well taken care of. The food is consistently good, as are the drinks. Tonight, we shared a House Mule, which was refreshing, delicious, and a great way to start our meal. For dinner, I had the Crunchy Seafood Fried Rice without XO sauce and the Buddha's Claypot, a vegetable dish. Hubby had the General Tso Chicken. All three dishes were flavorful, satisfying, and well prepared. I even had some of the fried rice left over to take home for tomorrow! Once again, we left happy. That's exactly why we keep coming back to Moonstone.

Menu is very limited with the protein options though with a few choices of noodles (spicy, ramen, or soup versions). They also carry poke bowls which I have yet to try. I did enjoy my beef over rice very much. Thin slices of beef, super tender and delicious. The sauce was on the sweeter side which was drizzled onto the beef as an au jus. And it came with half an egg, pickled radishes and broccoli. Another dish I enjoyed was the fish and cabbage hot pot. That was served with a bowl of rice. No noodles. Even with the spice level at "one pepper" rating, it was too much of a kick for me. But those that like spicy will enjoy it just fine. The fish pieces it came with were generous sized portions and this bowl was loaded with vegetables. Wood ear, mushrooms, cabbage, sliced white radish, and bean curd skin. It also has a few slices of spam (which I did order extra so I'm not sure if the normal is two slices). We also tried the pan fried pork gyoza which was perfectly fried on each side. Nice color. Taiwanese pork as a side comes with one pc per order. The fried chicken appetizer could use a little more spices but the chicken was so tender and very juicy. I liked it a lot. It does come with a dipping sauce which helps but I didn't use it much. All in all a good spot for take out but the menu will need to be expanded in order to have longevity. Sadly it didn't look busy each time I came to pick up. Staff is attentive and friendly.

I liked the spacious hall and the availability of the semi-private area, where we were seated. I was really impressed by the sushi platter for two, which we ordered as a table appetizer. The sashimi pieces were really fresh and of good quality fish. I had the shrimp Singapore noodles, which was heavy on the spice but salted delicately, almost bland but in a nice way. I do wish it was a little bit saucy or varied in flavor, though. The second time, I visited early on the weekend and tried the brunch prix fixe menu. I had the dim sum appetizer, which was presented beautifully. Unfortunately, the wrappers were pretty dry. I also had the wonton soup, which was also a little lackluster though the mild soup was nice. For my entree, I had the beef curry with brown rice. I did like that the fried tofu was in there. Unfortunately, the beef was prepared in what I think was an attempt to tenderize it. The tough parts were still there but the rest of the meat felt mushy and really flavorless, almost like wet cardboard. I do think some of the dishes, they did fine. However, the menu is too expansive and it's hard to figure out what the restaurant can do well. I know it's an Asian fusion diner concept, but I do hope they'll pare down the menu a bit and highlight the dishes they could do well instead of relying so much on pre-made items executed poorly.

But I've never ever encountered what I got from Tiga... even from far cheaper restaurants. Last year, I ordered 3 special rolls and excitedly picked them up. When I opened the package later, it appeared that they decided to squish all 3 of our rolls into one single plastic takeout container. So instead of each of us being able to enjoy the roll that we chose, we had to "share", dig from one container, with no other plates to use. Not only that, they squished the rolls so tightly together that the rice of the 3 rolls got stuck together, and the sauces of got mixed up. So as we tried to get our own rolls out to eat, it soon became like one container of fried rice - except it wasn't fried - just a mess of rice with toppings. For rolls that cost $20+ each, don't you think that each of the 3 of us deserved our own container to eat from? We were 3 colleagues who did not wish to eat out of one single bowl. I'm flabbergasted by Tiga.
