    Panang curry with vegetables ...yum!
    Frank W.

Finally a new restaurant in Great Falls! (: I ordered Panang Curry with vegetables (incl. torfu) from their lunch menu and it was very nice. Simple but elegant interior and very friendly service.

It's great to have a wonderful Chinese restaurant close to our house. A favorite of my sons who is usually a very picky eater.

Disappointed in the last two times I've ordered. Food was lacking flavor and portions have been reduced via smaller container, same price.

They also have a very nice cocktail menu, the guava margarita is really good! Their wings were how we started and the fish sauce is a great flavor to choose. Nice tang to them and they tasted even better when tried with the onions and peppers that were on the plate. Their golden fried rice with grilled chicken was really nice! I enjoyed both the rice chicken, separately. The shaken beef was made with a very nice tenderloin and was also loaded with great flavor and served on a sizzling platter. We all enjoyed the food and service. I would definitely return when in the area again.

Highly suggest the lychee mojito!! every person in our four-person girl group had two of these with deliciously plump fresh lychee on top of fresh mint, limes and just the right amount of rum to make you feel all warm inside! The decor was really nice too! Modern with a touch of fun and eclectic. Fortunately, my friends had already been here before, so I had plenty of good suggestions to consider. I opted for a plate that was heavy in vermicelli noodles, and upon ordering the server who took my order highly suggested that I order the woven vermicelli meal that came with lemon grass beef. I am so happy I listened to him because the dish was overflowing with delicious flavor and before I knew it, my plate was completely empty. Service was very kind, prompts and knew all the right suggestions to offer for a high quality experience. Plenty of delicious options for appetizers from classic favorites like fried spring rolls and rice paper summer rolls to savory entrées like short rib, hot pot Vietnamese noodle soups and fried rices. I can see why this place has quickly become a local favorite and why the ratings are all very positive! Lived up to the hype for sure! Thank you so much for an awesome dinner this evening! I really look forward to returning very soon.

We realized we were pretty casually dressed and weren't there to eat a whole lot of food. So, we simply got the Passion Fish Roll (Raw Sushi BTW), a Crispy Buttermilk Fried Calamari, a Rockfish, a side of Sweet Potato Fries and Mac & Cheese. For our drinks, got a couple of Rum & Cokes and a Shirley Temple. The ambiance was pleasant for the most part, as we enjoyed the conversations and the food when each of the plates came out. Just that the service was kind of bias and rude. We could all feel that the waitress was kind of in a bad mood, maybe expecting us to order more dishes and drinks. Anyhow, we noticed the portions were kind of on the smaller side compared to the prices. But taste-wise, everything was pretty good. The Rum and Cokes were fine, a little pricey, but decent. Another thing we observed was that the server never asked us if we wanted more refills or dessert. After she saw that we were done with our food, she simply put the check on the table and that was that. We were full, but we still wanted more bread and drinks, so not sure why she felt like we were going to leave and ready to pay when we didn't even ask for the check, yet. Kind of rude and inconsiderate of her towards the customers, no??? We had to open a new tab after paying for the main one since she thought we were going to leave right away after having our entrees...

I came here getting the kogi steak and cheese. For around $8, you get a decent sized sandwich that taste really good! The kogi steak was pretty tender and Sandwich bread with it was toasty. It's definitely a must try for steak and cheese fans who want to try a bit of kbbq mix. The sandwich also came with kettle chips which was pretty nice. I would say one of the biggest downside is that the restaurants building just started to charge for parking. So the best place to park is the parking garage that offers free 30 min parking. Though they prepare the food fast, I highly recommend coming either early or after lunch rush since the line can build up.

Banban is another one of those sushi "bowl" places. However, unlike all the other poke places,…read moreBanban has been open for years, and is much less trendy and more straightforward. Personally, I like that much more because there are no crowds of teenagers and the no frills vibe suits its surrounding environment better. It's tucked away in an office park. In and out is easy. Just place your order at the cashier first, then wait until they call your number and pick up your food at the counter where they assemble the food, underneath the menus. Next to that counter are additional condiments like Sriracha. There are some chairs and tables to eat at, but it's more of a takeout place than a sit-down restaurant. While they're open for breakfast, I have only eaten here after 11:00am, so my review is for their lunch, and specifically their sushi bowls. I've posted pictures of 3 different kinds, the Sushi-ko, Hawaiian, and Chirasi bowls. Each bowl has your choice of fish, grain, and then has a particular set of vegetables. In all honesty, I'm not too particular, so the three are not very different, aside from the assortment of vegetables you get with them, and the sauce. It's a pretty simple concept, but gives you enough variety. I like them, and am more concerned about getting a healthy mix of foods packed into the same meal. Banban certainly succeeds in this department. The quality of the ingredients, at least recently, is pretty standard. I'm not a sushi expert, so I can't comment on the fish quality, but it seems fine, and the veggies have consistently been fresh while I've visited over the last few years. If you work in the Tysons area, this is a great healthy lunch spot. While I only get the sushi bowls, you can also get: salads, wraps, sandwiches, tacos, burritos, and noodle bowls. Plus you can customize entire bowls. That's about 30 different options! While their selections favor omnivores, vegetarians have a few options, too. One important thing to note is that the word "sushi" might imply that it's Japanese, but it's actually a Korean place. This separates it from the other similar places because they offer bulgogi, kimchi, etc. Everything is under $12, and most items are under $10, and the portion size is comparable to other fast-casual spots. It's great for one serving, and if you're a healthy eater who adheres to advised portion sizes, then you'll be more than satisfied. If you're someone who is used to super-sized portions, then you might find it less filling (compared to a Chipotle burrito or Cava bowl). All in all, I come here because it beats all the unhealthy options, and because it has always been consistently satisfying. Service is also straightforward and pleasant. As a side-note, parking is sparse, so please keep that in mind. You'll either have to circle around, or walk there. This parking situation, plus the fact that they're not particularly remarkable prevents me from giving it 5 stars, but the consistency of quality, straightforward businesslike experience, and health factor are pluses in my book. I hope this helps!

If you're Korean, and you're looking for the traditional affair, this is not it. I'd take a client or friends here who aren't Korean. It's catered more towards non-Koreans IMO. They're selling this as an upscale spot and while the quality of meat is pretty darn good, you have to ask for lettuce and garlic - the two items always present at a traditional k bbq. It kind of sh*ts on the tradition by doing that. Why not provide that to give the full experience we all expect? I love luxury dining as much as anyone else but this was a colossal waste of money. I come to this shopping center multiple times a week since I live in McLean and almost always miss that this exists. They also have barstools outside facing the bar indoors but it's just so awkward. The sidewalk of this area is not built for that! Great idea (usually), but terrible execution. There's so many Korean bbq places nearby. I'm glad I tried this place to kill my curiosity of what they do different. Again, great spot if you want in bbq in a more upscale atmosphere, but it's more or less "fusion," and I'd be good with a business dinner here. Service was impeccable though. I appreciated the promptness in attending to our needs. The savory dishes btw- the dwenjangjiggae is awful. Lacks depth, flavor, and just overall was very meh. The other items (and we had all 5) were just fine. Nothing to sing home about.
