Getting them in the tub is one thing, but trying to wash them without totally tossing my laundry room is another. I looked online and found some services that have dog washes, but the cost was almost $20 dollars per dog (I have 2) I would have rather just dealt with it in my house than spending $40 plus dollars to wash my kids. I heard that some of the new Pet Valu's in my area had a dedicated dog wash area. I called around and found one that was open on Sunday's...the cost only $10 dollars per dog.....Done... I packed up the pups in the car and we took the 15 min drive to Pet Valu on Mississauga Rd in Brampton. This location is in a new mall and the location is still quite new. The staff here are really accommodating, I was told the cost was $10 dollars per dog and that included all the wash time, shampoo, conditioner, smell nice spray, towels, blow dryers and even treats!! The dogs are washed in a gated off area so you don't have to worry about your dogs dashing out. Safe and secure tie down leashes also keep the pups in place as you wash. Tons of room to move and to dry. The added bonus is that you can pick up any pet supplies there if you need them as well...all in one stop...5 stars!!

We took our dog Jasper to PetSmart for grooming on July 17th at their AIRPORT ROAD Location, and…read morewe've been living a nightmare ever since. When Jasper came home, he was not himself at all quiet, withdrawn, and clearly in pain. Over the next day, we noticed raw, irritated skin all over: his scrotum, around his anus, underside of his tail, left armpit (axilla), and near his belly. He had several small cuts that had already scabbed over, and he's been constantly licking those painful areas, especially his scrotum. Our vet diagnosed him with a moist skin infection (moist pyoderma) caused by grooming-related irritation. He now needs medication and follow-up care. The saddest part? His toys are still in the same spot they were the day he left for grooming. He hasn't touched them since. He's completely changed -- emotionally and physically. HES SHAKING!! After we contacted PetSmart, the store manager called and at first agreed to refund the grooming service. But then, she denied everything, claimed it wasn't their fault, and told us someone would follow up with us. It's now been well over 48 hours -- and we've heard nothing. We've sent photos, vet documentation, and even requested surveillance footage, and have been met with complete silence. The groomer blamed Jasper for "being difficult" instead of taking accountability. Yes, we signed a waiver -- but a waiver doesn't excuse injuries, infection, behavioral trauma, or $600+ in vet bills. We gave them our trust -- and they gave us a dog who came home hurting. If you truly love your pet, do not take them to PetSmart for grooming. We are devastated and doing everything we can to help Jasper heal.

There are 3 staff that work at the Brant Street location and all of them are terrific, if you haven't experienced this store before check it out on a Friday which is the day when you get free dog treats if you bring your dog into the location with NO PURCHASE necessary. Be warned the prices on much of the products in the store are rather expensive but that is because the quality of the product is above what you will find at most locations however there are several decent products to buy which are rather cheap such as their individual cookies, pig ears and raw or baked marrow bones which are three of my dogs favorite treats. They also price match, once confirmed they will match the price of a competitor for identical items. This location also offers a full self-washing facility complete with a locking door and locking gate for their tub which is large enough to accommodate several hundred pounds of dog (it makes me 102 pound lab look small). Do yourself a favor and experience what Mike and others have to offer at this location and I'm sure you'll keep coming back specifically to say hello to them and just be in a friendly environment.

The lady just said look at the waiver you signed. This place deserves to be shut down as they over charge, do a crappy job and you come home with an injured pup.
