Since the seller lived in the Lisgar neighborhood and it was 5.30 pm (= 30 min till closing time for most stores), we stopped at this Mississauga PetSmart. The store is spacious and seems well stocked when it comes to pet food and accessories. To be honest, I didn't browse the different departments in depth but quick looks left and right while I was making my way towards the end of the store, left me with a good impression still. I was able to get the bedding I came for, but I also snatched a good deal on a decent size climbing tree and finally grabbed 3 boxes of frozen mice, while my husband and the kiddo entertained themselves with looking at the kittens in the adoption area. The prices were reasonable to begin with, however I was able to save another $4 since one of the staff members mentioned their free membership program. I signed up and was able to use my new PetPerks card right away. All in all, the staff was very friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable as well. I had a question regarding the bedding I was using/intending to buy again and I got a satisfying response. If I was in the area, I would certainly stop by again. But since that's not very likely, I am now looking forward to the grand opening of their Etobicoke location later this month. ;)

We showed them the email and asked them to honour their original quote. They said they can change prices whenever they want and they would not honour it. We were shocked as that is the golden rule of business to honour a quote. Their attitude was very unprofessional. There are so many other places to buy birds in Ontario. She also knows of many interesting pet grooming stories. I don't know if your dog enjoys getting his nails trimmed. Mine tolerates it, but there was one time he gave some attitude to the groomer - he was going to resist getting his nails cut. She looked him straight in the eye and told him a thing or two. He settled after that. Bark & Meow is the only one that sells those, and they also stock other brands that I've researched and thought about trying. I'm so glad I found this place! The owner is always really friendly. When you walk into the store it looks the same as every other tiny pet shop that is owned by some family for years who don't really know or care what they're doing -- so she has really surprised me with her knowledge of the products she carries and of animas in general! She definitely knows her stuff and if you have questions about dogs and feeding she has great advice that can be trusted. Bark & Meow has a frequent food punch card program where you buy like 9 packages of food you get the next one for free (might not be the exact number, I can't remember). They keep the cards there for everyone in a Rolodex thing so you don't have to carry it around in your wallet and also you never forget to bring it! Awesome! I have not used their grooming services and I probably never will based on the groomer reviews, though. For the record, I've never seen or heard the groomer here yet. The owner is great though!

Any time we need help with anything, staff here are quick to offer before we can even ask: anything from helping us shop for and find products, to even carrying heavy items out to our car. I also love that the staff are visibly passionate about pets and their care. Not only that, but the store actively works on adopting out rescue animals. We got a pair of cats from this location two years ago, in fact, thanks to their collaboration with Toronto Cat Rescue. I nearly took a star off for the fact that I sometimes have to drag my husband away from the kittens there for adoption, but I decided that wasn't their fault. ;)

When I tried exchanging the food for the regular food my dogs can tolerate they would not accept the exchange without a receipt ... WHO KEEPS A RECEIPT FOR DOG FOOD !! .... Well they just lost a loyal customer over 3 cans of dog food ... they didn't seem to care much .... Good Luck to them ! if that is how they are going to treat a customer !! PetSmart opened a location up the street I will take my business there....
