She is very…read moregentle and she is the only person I would ever let near my dogs when it comes to grooming (and we all know how neurotic I am as per my other "animal place reviews" :P). Jasmine is extremely meticulous in everything she does and pays a lot of attention to detail. She always makes sure if I have specific instructions such as using special shampoo for my pug's sensitive skin. She is also very gentle and my pug absolutely LOVES Jasmine. It's like she doesn't even want to leave at the end of her "spaw" experience. I definitely would highly recommend Jasmine to ANYONE who loves their fur-baby as much as I do (and *everyone* knows my pug is super high maintenance).

The place itself is very clean and bright. It was quite pricey but that's not unexpected since we wanted the typical show cut on our bichon which takes a lot of skill and time plus I wanted to keep her fur relatively long. It took just over two hours and we were so happy with how it turned out. This is the best haircut she's ever gotten!

To book each time, fill out their form on their website and someone will email you. Their staff are so kind and welcoming. You can tell they really love working with animals. I had a session with Michelle who did an amazing job with my bichon frise. My dog's round hair cut came out perfectly and we didn't have to do any touchups at home ourselves (my family has a very keen eye for my dog's haircut). My dog has a lot of allergies so I told them not to give her any treats. You are able to bring your own treats for them to give your dog which I'll do next time. They do the intake and payment outside and I love the report card they give you at the end. Sometimes grooming is like a black hole and you wonder how it went so I thought the report card is an adorable and nice touch. I paid around $110-120 before tip which included an add on for hypoallergenic shampoo. I thought this was really reasonable especially since they take care of your dog for around 5 hours so it's essentially grooming and daycare together.

I once almost became one of their pet grooming students. I used to take my dog to Pet Smart for their pet grooming service. However, Pet Smart's grooming service was suck! I am lucky I found Pet Grooming Studio. They always do a good job and never once let me down. My dog is very hypothetic and nervous at a new or unfamiliar place. The groomer in charge, Mineko, knows how to calm her down all the time. They charge reasonably. There is a detailed price list board hanging in front of the reception desk. Appointment is needed.

When I picked him up, the information I received was that he was having a really hard time throughout his grooming experience. No one called me to tell me he was struggling and to suggest I come and pick him up immediately. I WAS IN THE PLAZA!!! In fact, my poor dog was in so much pain we had to go to an emergency vet immediately. The grooming place denied any incident and I will never find out the truth, but obviously something happened while he was being groomed that caused him an injury and tremendous pain. And knowing what he was experiencing, we were shocked that they NEVER even called to follow up and see how he was doing. How can a grooming place have so little compassion for dogs? I would never recommend this place.

Prior to it being stocked, I thought that the store was part of the Longo's that it's attached to, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it's a new pet store.there are several pet supply stores in the hood.....Pet Smart, PJ's Pets, Global and even Walmart...but when you stroll the community you understand why all these stores can survive...its pet heaven in the neighborhood. I myself contribute 3 dogs to that count. I popped in looking for a pet "wrap"...an item which wraps around your pet to prevent them from piddling in the house. The item in question was cheaper here than at Petsmart. Score ! Anyways, the staff are very friendly, the prices very reasonable, the store is spotlessly clean (that could be because it's new)' and its very close to where I live. I'll definitely be going back.
