Horrific experience! They do whatever they feel it's right and are not taking responsibility or…read morerespect owner's opinion. My poms puppy had a severe matting behind her ears, I sent a photo to a friend of mine who is groomer in BC whom advised me to take her to the groomer immediately as they have necessary detangling tools and can help with the situation. Her regular groomer didn't have time so had to book with this place for the fist time. They shaved the matt off without consulting me!! Simple google search shows that you should not shave poms hair as there is a chance that the hair won't grow back again. I didn't realize how bad the situation until I got home and took the bandanna they put around her neck off. I've called immediately and asked why this action was taken and I've been told that the matting was so severe so they had no other options (NOT TRUE! There are many other options which are more time consuming). One thing that really hit my nerve was that the person on the call admitted that quoted: "oh I am fully aware that there is chance for the hair to not re-grow"!!! If you're aware, didn't you think this is important enough to consult with the owner first??? Maybe I wanted to get second opinion or show the situation to the vet... Very disappointed!!! The stress that they're causing me now because of the situation can't be explained with words. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!

The staff are very professional, friendly and accommodating for his shots and checkups. All the advice and prescriptions we've taken have been great. Most impressive are their precautions for COVOD-19, like dropping off your pet outside and virtual consults. Everything has been seamless and I'm so glad I live in the area so can access such a great animal hospital. We got a welcome package of goodies, and after his first groom they gave him a bandana!

Our first experience...best groom our senior dog has ever had. This time her cute face which needed a trim was poorly cut, eyebrows shaved off (she now squints in sun) , face shape comeyely changed and the body areas left so long we need to get her regroomed for summer. I guess hit and miss with this groom salon. It's a shame because we had heard such good things and were waitlisted for a long time. Now we wait for our dog's fur to grow out and start again.

I have tried so many groomers in Markham over the years as a dog owner. Covid really changed…read moreeverything a lot. Prices have gone up, quality has gone down. Our OG a groomer sadly closed her shop and never reopened. When we brought home our newest furbaby 10 months ago, instinctively, I took her for grooming to another spot where we used to take our last pup. The price had tripled, a lot had changed and there was no transparency with services or pricing. Needless to say, I never went back. I received a few recommendations and one of them came highly recommended by a friend and fellow trusted dog owner. This is how we arrived at Q Studio. Quaint little shop tucked away beside Roll Me Up Ice Cream and a hair salon on Main Street Markham. It is a small shop, but clean and well maintained. Our furbaby loves her visits to the shop. Her grooming is always neat and exactly what we discussed on her very first visit. They are very consistent with the quality of grooming and if it is going to take 2 hrs, they are very communicative with letting us know if she is almost done or may take a bit longer. Pricing is great for the services and no hidden costs or charges.
