First visit was ok. Ruff cuts closed so need to find a new place to take Griffy for bath and nails clipped. Need to make appointment during the week so not too good for last minute. Brought her in and there were a lot of small white dogs barking in a high pitch which spooked her a little. Very nice and gentle intake with Griffy. She explained her fees carefully and accurately. Came to about $62 for shampoo, ear clean, anal glands, claw clip. I picked her up and she was raring to go. I think she is nervous with other dogs. I have been going to Canine Clips for about 10 years. I now have two golden retrievers and wouldn't think of taking them any where else. My Maddie who is 12 years old and was quite the handful, loves Cassandra, and even at her age, still pulls me to go see her. And I always feel safe leaving the dogs there, never a worry in mind and Cassandra does such a great job every time. I was just there for Maddie alone, who needed help with the heat. Over the last year I have brought my poodle mix in to her a few times and each time he is so happy. I was asking her for some advice and she let me come in and see the process of how she grooms the dogs. I've been taking our standard poodle to Canine Clips for at least the past 7 years. Cassandra never fails to do a wonderful job - to our specification (unusual, as most groomers can't resist doing silly poodle cuts - which our family eschews). And, our dog poses some steep challenges, as he has hip dysplasia (difficult standing for long periods), and has never previously enjoyed his hair cuts. However, it's our dog who has the most fun - he practically pulls us in his excitement to get there for his spa day.
