Fur Babies - she smelled AMAZING & had the cutest bows!

I have a rescued Shih-Tzu that has been through hell and back and doesn't trust many people and…read morehates other dogs, so as you can imagine.. finding a groomer is very hard (she can also be very vocal when she's mad). Upon walking into Fur Babies, it's a VERY cute place and i was greeted promptly. My dog went in the back with the groomer no issue, which was shocking to me, and unlike other times i've gotten her groomed, she didn't come out shaking, and freaking out like she was just abused. she was relatively happy considering, and the groom was EXACTLY what i wanted! she looked great. I was really happy and will most definitely be using this groomer in the future for her!!! i also have a husky and shepherd x rottweiler that i will be bringing! Amazing place, and great atmosphere. I highly recommend

Only been once for grooming & a second time most recently for her nail trimming. The grooming was…read morebeautiful, it was our first time there as we were unsatisfied with the other groomers we were going to before. They knew this, so they listened closely to what I wanted done. It was done very well. She was more adorable than she has been in a long time. As for the nail trimming... well she had very long nails so they took her to the back. I soon heard a very load painful 'yelp' from my dog. When she was done she told me she had cut one nail on her back paws too short. She put cream on it and we left. I later noticed they cut all the way into the pulp of her nail! Ouch!!! It was a white nail with the obvious pink pulp showing through the nail. I can't believe that she cut right through the pink! So, now my dog is afraid of everywhere we take her in the car, just in case we go back there again. I know mistakes happen, but this needs better care & attention. I have been taking my little Morkie "Phoebe" to Fur Babies now for some time. She is two yrs old now. Since my First Review I had left above, we have been going their for her routine grooming & nails every 6 to 8 weeks. I have to update my Review, since I have had nothing but positive things to say about the Groomers at Fur Babies. They are very attentive to what I want done & any of my concerns. No more issues with her nail trimming. They were honest about the slip up last time & that means more to me than anything. I was able to trust them. I highly recommend them & will continue bringing my pup to Fur Babies for her entire life!

We're usually quite picky when it comes to husky grooming, only because we've read horror stories in online forums and the like! i found doggie delight from a Yelp search and used the request a quote / message the business feature and they were SO quick at responding and answered any questions i had. communication was super straightforward and they were incredibly responsive, especially considering i messaged them close to the end of their operating hours. the day of the groom was also really simple and straightforward! i was given a rough estimate on when our pup would be ready, but the person at the business also told me they'd text me when she's done. i think they did a great job with my pup and she didn't even seem to be too scared to be there either! unfortunately, i forgot to take pics when she was fresh out of the groomers, but they definitely did a great job and didn't do anything i was worried about! we'll be booking here again next year for our husky's annual professional groom! (don't worry, we brush and clean her at home too lol)

If you have a cat beware of having it groomed here! Short…read morestory: Took my cat for a grooming including a shave, groomer clipped his nails far too short and then blamed me for the cats violent behavior. Long story: I took my cat (Buster) here for a "lion cut" as he is 13 years old and I can't keep control of his mattes. I chose this place because I went there last year and the groomer did a great job. Last year I stayed in the room and talked with the groomer the entire appointment and was pleased with the results. Buster did have one moment when his patience got the best of him, but I think that was because the groomer nicked a small mole he has on his side (my fault for not pointing it out as it is not obvious under all that fur). Otherwise a better than expected visit. I wish I could say the same this year. As I was not expecting to have any trouble I asked my mother to drop him off and pick him up. She dropped him off at his scheduled appointment and told the groomer about the mole on his side (which I marked with a sharpie this time). She also wished him good luck as sometimes Buster can be a bit moody. I received a call from the office 30 minutes later telling me that the groomer could not continue with Buster as he is way to aggressive. I said I was surprised as he was not like that the year before and the guy on the phone seemed upset when he said "well my groomer is bleeding all over the place so he can't do any more". I called my mother to have her go by and pick him up, assuming he was already in his carrier and ready to go. When she arrived Buster was in the corner of the room growling at anyone that came near. My mother said she has never seen him look so scared, it took her and the groomer to push the cage towards him and use a broom to get him inside. The groomer was upset and was rude towards my mother as though it was in some way her fault that Buster reacted like that, saying things like "next time I will call the owner at the first sign of aggression". My mother called me quite upset and feeling guilty about the situation. She brought him home, opened his cage and left him alone for a while. It took 4 hours for him to come out of his cage. There was blood inside his cage so I tried my best to check him out. Upon inspection he had a nick on his neck, but the worst part is that his claws are cut so short that they were bleeding! It was difficult to get a good look as Buster wouldn't let me touch his paws too much but from what I could tell at least 4 of them are cut right down past the quick (for those of you that don't know the quick is the vein inside the nail). No wonder Buster had a freak out!! Doing that is not only dangerous, but it is extremely painful for an animal! So now I am left with a cat that has half his hair shaved, lots of mattes left over and claws that are mangled. I doubt I will be able to get him into a cage let alone through the doors of any groomer again. I think I may have to pay the vet to sedate him and finish the job. The worst part is that this guy is supposed to be a professional. It is his job to know when to pull the plug, if the cat is fighting it's time to salvage the appointment and schedule the second half of the job in a week, instead the cat is traumatized and I am left feeling guilty and upset! Oh and the best part, he charged me for the job!! Can't speak to how he is with dogs, he is quite a nice man, but obviously this is a hobby that he has tried to turn into a business and has no actual training when it comes to animals.
