i was in the neighbourhood for a meeting and passed the shop on my way, so I gave it a look. I gave it a visit to the Kitty Corner (and what an adorable name) and picked up a snack for my cats. The store was clean and well stocked, and the cashier was friendly and helpful. If I were in the neighbourhood I'd definitely find no problems visiting them regularly to shop for pet supplies. read more

WOOFTOWN is great. I've only used the delivery service, its free over $39 in the GTA & arrives within 2 days. I buy my dogs kibble, wet food, & some treats. They are priced about the same as others. The only thing is sometimes they're out of stock. Please keep in stock Honest Kitchen whole grain clusters, Stella & Chewy raw coated wholesome grains duck recipe & salmon recipe and Carna4 the flavors with grains. Also they don't carry my dogs favorite chews made by Eldon & Silver spur Asado (cow ears, yak cheese, unbelievabulls bully sticks, & trachea). Also green tripe & quail eggs. One of my fellow neighbours told me that Wooftown delivers dog food the very next day for free so I had to try it out. I can vouch that a huge parcel of dog food and treats came in the very next day, they're even faster than Amazon. The delivery is free for orders more than $39, which is a very low minimum. I'm always running out of dog food for my little rascals and hate having to take the car out to lug a huge bag home. They have a large variety of dog foods, and an easy to navigate website. I have never been in the store but use their delivery service. We go through a lot of dog food with our dog. The biggest selling point for us was the free delivery - we live on the top floor of a 4 story walk up so having someone carry it to our apt door is great! The prices are reasonable, and they even honoured a point system we had at another store when we switched over to them. Oh and I usually get a call from them when we are about 3/4 of the way through our bag asking if we need another one, the reminder is a nice personal touch. read more

**So I'll start with the disclaimer that I've never actually been INSIDE the store. However, I live down by the ACC and get my dog food delivered from them on a regular basis. They almost always are able to deliver next day and they don't charge shipping for orders over $50. They carry my dog's food (Acana) which many other retailers don't. Every time I've ever spoken to anyone on the phone, they've always been really nice and very helpful. They keep my stuff on file, so my calls take no time and the food is at my front door. We ordered dog food from them and they brought a damaged package with two holes. Wooftown employee on the phone tried to convince my husband that their driver damaged the package with his fingers when carrying it from delivery truck. Unbelievable! The package is so strong you need scissors or knife to do this kind of damage. When we asked for replacement it appeared to be the last item in stock. Again unbelievable! They offered 50%off the next order instead. Would you feed your dog from the damaged bag? Wooftown treats their customers as fools and its online orders as a way to get rid of the damaged stock. It's extremely unsafe for the dogs. Stay away! read more

Excellent pet store. The service personnel are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I switch between getting my food delivered and picking it up myself (due to my work schedule) and both always work out great. It's so hard to get an appt here so I was very happy to get my Maltese in. Finally. However after spending $90, I don't know why her paws and face still look dirty? The groomer, who is a darling, didn't come out to present her to me so that was it. It wasn't her best groom - not much shape to it and her face and behind were left pretty long. Wooftown - Pet Stores Near Me - Toronto, Ontario

I tried wooftown's grooming service because my regular groomer, whom I love, was fully booked up for the week (see my review of Dogfather and co.) The groomers here is either brand new to dog grooming or is just a completely incompetent. I specifically told them to keep him long and not to cut the top of the head or the eyelashes and when I picked up my little guy it looked like they just shaved him down. It's a disaster. It'll take at least a year for it to grow back. When I said that this is not what I wanted the women at the cash said laughing "well we can't add hair or do dog hair extensions; it'll grow back" In shock I just paid and left. AVOID this place at all costs. They have no idea what they're doing when it comes to grooming. read more

We just took our 4 month old Shichon Puppy for her very first grooming and it was amazing!!! Our puppy looked so adorable and fluffy and they trimmed his face so perfectly . .. They did exactly what we wanted and much more ... We could now see his big beautiful eyes ... They obviously love animals so much and made our puppy's first experience such a pleasure ... Love this place. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Also, they deliver your food FOR FREE. Not just no delivery fee, but it's also the same price as it is anywhere else (ie. they're not handing the delivery fee in the food price). Which, common... those bags are heavy! So convenient. read more

The friendliness and professionalism of the staff at this store is what keeps me coming back. They know both my dogs' and my names and we are always greeted whenever we arrive there. If you need something at WOOFTOWN that they do not currently have in stock, they will order it for you. Collette is a great groomer who really accommodates my large dog with his separation anxiety issues whenever he is bathed there. They also do have puppy adoption days every few months if you're looking to adopt. The store is always clean and has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting. :) read more

Went into Wooftown to wander around the clothing section and nearly adopted a corgi heeler mix. What a wonderful idea to hold adoption events at your store with a trained professional to explain each breed and how the process of adoption works. I have been purchasing my large bags of dog kibble from Wooftown ever since I lost access to a car. Their delivery service along with customer service has always been amazing. This week they went above and beyond, ensuring I would have food for my dog to eat before the date of their next shipment for my order (I left ordering a little late). Very impressed with the awesome customer service and quick delivery. I asked about grain free treats our dog loves and within 24 hours received an email response to say they would have it in stock the next time I placed an order because one of their regular suppliers carries the treats. Brought my dog in for a groom. Will not go back. He has some mattes and was told our only option is to shave him. They shaved him to the skin almost! They didn't warn us that because he is a white dog he would have a huge increase risk of sunburns from the shave. If you have a few mattes dont take your dog there because they will not take the time to Dematte your dog. read more

This has been our store of choice for nearly 3 years. I praise it highly to anyone that has a dog. Carry a large variety of foods, treats and toys. They are reasonably priced for a downtown store and they do the returns of toys with life warranty on your behalf. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable.
