Amazing service from Sophie and delicious food!!! Great breakfast restaurant that I highly recommend

We had our 3rd visit this past week. We were seated right away which has never happened before but I think it was due to it being a week day and the road construction. On this visit we ordered the Eggs Benedict, eggs, potatoes, gluten free pancakes and the gluten free potatoes. All of our food was delicious. Only complaint was when I was drinking, something came through my straw. Not sure what it was and I don't really want to spend too much time dwelling on it. It was brought to our server's attention and she brought me a fresh beverage. We will return. read more

Portions are big and food is good. Not the best breakfast spot but it is pretty solid overall.

If I could give this place negative stars I would... Our service was terrible, the food was bland, had to send BOTH dishes back to have our eggs cooked properly. The server was curt and had no redeeming qualities. Shame on you Indy for 843 "5 star reviews" on a restaurant that was over priced and a two star at best. read more

Stopped in on my way through Indy. Got the french toast and it was melt in your mouth delicious. My wife got the breakfast burrito and she enjoyed that. I thought they would be busier but we came in and got seated right away. The coffee was sub par but not complaints about the food. read more

A little further of a walk than some other breakfast places near our hotel, but well worth the short walk. Everything was delicious, the avocado toast was piled high with avocado, the biscuits and gravy was amazing...glad we took the recommendation from our valet! read more

Our friend was visiting from out of town and we decided to take her to brunch. Since it was Sunday, street parking was free. Because it was around 9:30, we didn't have any trouble finding a spot. Still, when we walked into the restaurant, there was a ten minute wait. They gave us a hand held buzzer that alerted us when it was our turn to be seated. (Note: There are paper menus available at the reception counter to review while you are waiting to be seated.) The room is colorful and very clean looking. Plenty of space between the tables too. Noise level for a full house was still very reasonable, i.e, we could easily carry on a conversation at our table. Our waitress took our beverage order while we continued perusing the menu. I had the coffee and the fresh squeezed OJ which comes in a huge water glass (maybe ten or twelve ounces!) Very tangy OJ, not overly sweet like reconstituted OJ served elsewhere. For some reason, my OJ didn't show up when our guest's OJ was delivered. I mentioned it to our waitress and it was quickly brought out. The coffee was delivered with it's own pot that allowed for at least three full cups at my convenience. After a bit of a wait (by this time the place was completely packed and the line was out the door), our breakfasts were delivered. My wife ordered the Belgian Waffles with whipped butter, powdered sugar and maple syrup. She prefers them a bit crisper than most folks. Nothing fancy, but nothing wrong either. Pretty standard fare. Our friend felt adventurous and went for the "Crabby Patty Bennie". It was made from lump crab meat that was topped with fresh herbs and poached eggs on a toasted English muffin with lemon hollandaise sauce. Excellent fresh crab flavor, brightened by the tart lemony sauce and complimented by the savory eggs and muffin. On the side were a good sized portion of skillet potatoes and an Everything Muffin (Savory instead of sweet. Made with garlic, onion, and poppy seeds.) I would definitely order this! I was quite hungry and got two orders: First was the "Mr. Potato Head Casserole" with a layer of hash browns (could have been a little crisper) baked with sour cream, diced onions, spices, and cheddar-jack cheese. These were topped with bits of breakfast sausage, diced tomatoes, poblano peppers, and roasted mushrooms. Around the side was a nice ring of queso fundido creamy cheese and an egg (mine was ordered over easy) on top. Excellent Mexican flavors that were spicy, but not spicy hot. (Two bottled hot sauces were available on the table for those inclined to add heat.) I also got the "Sweet Home Apple Bourbon Crepes" served warm filled with sweetened cream cheese, apple bourbon compote, chopped candied pecans, sorghum, whipped cream, powdered sugar and cinnamon. More like dessert than breakfast, this beautifully plated dish was as tasty as it looked. The service was adequate, but not exceptional. I think there are just so many customers for the kitchen and servers to deal with. Still, with all the running around our waitress did, it is hard to find fault, especially knowing that Sunday mornings are probably the busiest time of the week. Sure the price is high compared to a lot of other chain breakfast places...but you get what you pay for. If you want routine breakfasts that you can make at home, then this may not be worth your time. But if you like trying new flavor combinations and food that whets your appetite before you take your first bite, then give this place a try. I believe they have a franchise in Carmel as well. Some hits, some misses, some just fine. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning before the Colts played. As it got closer to game time there was a wait, but we were seated immediately. Their menu has a lot of options, some of them creative, some fairly normal. We got a mix: crab cakes Benedict, French toast with bacon, and gluten free pancakes. First, the things they got right. The fresh squeezed orange juice was absolutely fantastic. The apple smoked bacon was very tasty. The coffee was also really good. The french toast was just fine, as was the hot chocolate. Unfortunately, it wasn't all rosy. My wife's gluten feee pancakes were terrible. She said they were the worst she had ever had. My crab cake Benedict was decent but not great. The eggs were over hard when I ordered over medium, the hollandaise was sparse, and the potatoes were just...potatoes. The crab cakes were better than I expected, though, which was a nice surprise. Our meal was a very mixed bag, but overall, the things they got right were mostly easy, and the things that weren't good were more difficult. When we are back in the area (and we will be), we will search for a better option. read more

I ordered the Mexico City Maria's chilaquiles & my girlfriend got the Wild Mushroom & Roasted Garlic Scramble. Neither of us finished the massive portions but we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My gf took her Everything muffin to-go which was also delicious. Our waiter was attentive & friendly; he offered us a cinnamon roll to go with our coffee but if I'd known it was extra, I wouldn't have said yes (it was just ok). Love the ambiance of the place - reminded me of Easter with all the egg decor lol. read more

Wild Eggs is what every brunch-themed restaurant wishes it could be. Their stuffed French toast is second to none, and their breakfast potatoes are among the best I've ever tasted. The atmosphere, the music selection, and the food are fantastic. If it's that time of day and you're looking for something breakfast-y, you can't do much better than Wild Eggs. read more

Me and my spouse went here for breakfast and enjoyed a great meal. The restaurant atmosphere was calm and the table designs seemed pretty new age. The menu provided a nice selection of egg entrees and didn't miss cravings for pancakes, waffles, French toast, or biscuits and gravy. The hot chocolate was a great addition for this cold morning and look forward to my next visit! read more

I LOVED this little breakfast place. I lived downtown a few years ago and I always felt like Mass Ave area was missing a breakfast/brunch place. To me, this is exactly what was missing. I'm actually sad I don't live closer so I can come here more often. I sat at the breakfast bar, which was adorable. I almost sat at a regular table, but after seeing it, I was so excited I felt like I ran over the hostess to sit at it. My waitress (forget her name as it has been a few weeks since I was actually there) was very sweet and attentive, always refilling my water before it reached the halfway mark. I had the French toast and cheese grits. Both were phenomenal. Sometimes nothing beats classics done right. I wanted to eat everything in one sitting, but I had to get a to go box. Best little breakfast place and I can't wait to go back! read more

Awesome staff! Good customer service goes a long way in the restaurant industry. FRENCH TOAST AND MIMOSAS. Need I say more? I literally get the exact same thing when I go there. French toast and scrambled eggs add 1 mimosa! I'm recommending 4/5 instead of 5/5 bc the menu is set up in an untraditional off fashion because instead of ordering the full size of French toast (which is like 5-6 slices waaaay too many) you have to order ala Carte (not cost effective route) instead of the ability to upcharge to switch out the toast or biscuits. 1 server there created a meal for me in a way that I was charged a minimal upcharge, no one else there seems to understand how he did it.. so I just have to order ala carte. read more

The service is always so great. I used to live around the corner and stop in and the staff was so friendly. Plus, the food is always so fresh and well prepared! read more

The mr potato head casserole. It's freakin awesome. It was one of those unexpected surprises when your ready for a simple breakfast while out of town. Very clean and simple place. Servers were really nice and attentive. read more

This is my spot!! I ask for the same waiter everytime! I'd tell you, but I don't want to share! I switch it up everytime I order. Black & Blue Bennie, Chili Verde Huevos Rancheros, Quesadilla....hmm, I'd say the creole omelette is my favorite! Buffalo chicken is alright. Oh! A Bloody Mary everytime we go! We ask for ours to be spicy! Comes with a banana pepper, pickle slices and olives. The rim is dip in seasoning. Anyways, if you haven't been you definitely should try it! read more

Wild Eggs downtown is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants. I went yesterday morning and received a great surprise, my Mr. Potato Head casserole now comes with a side of toast, something in the past I often paid to add on. This was a great addition to an already great breakfast item. Thanks Wild Eggs. read more

Breakfast here while at GenCon. Picked it based on reviews and proximity to hotel. Glad I did. The eggs Benedict were very good. But the Mister Potato Head my son had was amazing. I think the sausage is what put it over the top. Service was fast and friendly at a little after 9:00, but parking is a bit difficult. Downtown, what are you going to do? read more

Wild Eggs is such a great place to go! We've never had a bad experience. The food is great, but the atmosphere is what makes the place! Shannon was our server and she is hands down the best server there and anywhere else. She was on point, but more importantly she was so friendly. I suspect she's just genuinely a good human. We will be back and definitely asking for her. read more

Wild Eggs, you are great for what you are. And I keep coming back, because I know what to expect and my expectations are always met (but never exceeded). What Wild Eggs is: -a good place for brunch on weekdays -consistent "better than ok but not wow-factor food" -a place you can always get a seat, regardless of the time of day -those everything muffins tho. Dayumn gurl. What Wild Eggs isn't: -a place for stellar service: I've never seen the wait staff there appear to be happy or remotely excited about their job -great boozy brunch -a place that you really get excited about going to With Yolk coming in as a downtown contender (2 downtown locations and counting), it's going to be interesting to see business for Wild Eggs. Service will need to step up to truly compete. read more

Wait staff a bit too over the top dramatic. He was fun but kinda took it to the extreme and we just wanted food - not entertainment. Our meal took a while to arrive. Clean restaurant. Nice that they bring a pot of coffee to your table. Grits were spot on! Would not rush back....but those grits were GREAT! read more

As a resident of Mass Ave, I frequent most of the restaurants on the Ave and surrounding area. Wild Eggs is such restaurant. They recently reduced their menu to a few fan faves. I was disappointed when they took away the creole omelette. If you're looking for a seafood breakfast item, the crabby benny is still available. Otherwise, the service and mimosas are amazing! read more

Consistently delicious, with good portions and a fair price point. The eggs are always cooked correctly, the latkes are always good, the potatoes are crispy and tasty, the bread good and the butter is nice and whipped. The Coffee could be a bit stronger and/or flavorful and I wish there were more bread options. That's really the only negative here. I'll keep coming back! read more

The food was great!! The service was ok... We stopped by before the Indy 500 parade and thought we had plenty of time. I ordered a coffee drink from their cocktail menu, but was brought a warm latte with no vodka in it. The server was very apologetic and promptly brought out the correct beverage. I ordered eggs, mushroom and goat cheese. It was delicious. When we were done, we waited quite a while to get our bill and then there was another long wait to get our card back. I would definitely go back, but would make sure we have plenty of time. read more

Wild Eggs - Farmers skillet with an Everything muffin. Yummy! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

Wild eggs offers an excellent line-up of breakfast items: cinnamon buns, granola, oatmeal, omelettes, crepes, casseroles, waffles, pancakes, Tex-mex combos and various styles of 'benedicts' with sides of taters, grits and/or a muffin. Truly, something for everyone in a bright and well-lit welcoming diner. My buddies were well satisfied with oatmeal and the 'Mr. Potato Head. I was thrilled with the Breakfast Nachos with chorizo and two eggs over medium. This last was a huge portion. I did gently douse it with Cholula just cuz I'm a wild & crazy guy. Our server provided 2 pots of coffee for our wake-up call. Moreover, she was quite pleasant and efficient. Parking downtown can be a hassle which causes one of our group to pass it up & not join us. read more

Wild Eggs - Cinnamon roll! House-Made Cinnamon Roll House-Made Cinnamon Roll - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Indianapolis, Indiana

The illustrious five star review here !!! I heart Wild Eggs. I've been only two or three times now, but I've thought of going on mornings where money was totally an object !!! Get it? Well if not, trust me when I say Wild Eggs is the happening breakfast spot going right now and that's no easy feat here, as Indy has some amazing breakfast/brunch offerings. Let's start with the decor: It's minimal. Nothing outlandish and not much on the walls. There is a wall of colored eggs and some large size photos of eggs in different areas, but for the most part, the interior decorating wasn't a big deal to them. There are both booth and table style seats, as well as my new favorite thing ever, THE BREAKFAST BAR !!! That's right, there is a U-shaped (or perhaps egg shaped?) bar in on the opposite side of the hostess booth right after you walk in. It looks like it seats about ten or so people and it's just that: A BAR! There is a flat screen television that sits to the open end of it, and whether it's one person or many, the service is on point and friendly. I love that area. It's perfect for solo brunch dates with your earphones or magazine. Across from the seated bar is the spirits bar, where they make the mimosas, tequila sunrises and other Spirited offerings that are found or the menu or possibly suggested to your waiter. I can't remember what type of morning Absolut drink I had, but it paired well with my attitude and food !!! Now about that food.... You know, everyone doesn't do pancakes justice. It seems like THE easiest breakfast thing to make and it's totally my go-to order, but I have learned that no all pancakes are created equal....or good. But Wild Eggs has it right. I've yet to put my finger on their secret ingredients but I LOVE the flavor of the fluffy, large plate sized pancakes. They are perfect for a brunch morning of syrup and girlfriends catching up. Of course, they have lots of egg options as well as traditional orders like french toast and brunch sandwiches....but they also have some stuff only keen to their menu and if ever there is a place to TRY something out new for breakfast, I suggest Wild Eggs. Not sure what the name of the hash brown baked selection, but it came with sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and a delightful queso smothered on top of them. It was the best damn thing ever !!! I want it now. They close at three btw!!! Which is great as most spots close at two. Wild Eggs did not come to play and I did not come to miss them... You shouldn't either. Five stars for delicious traditional food, a mouth-watering choice of original selections, as well breakfast spirits, a friendly staff and of course the ultimate, breakfast bar with the tv!!! Let's go to Wild Eggs!!! read more

A fantastic brunch! This place is exactly where I would want to brunch every weekend! The service was great and the staff very friendly. We ordered the wild mushroom omelette, potatoes, with an everything muffin and it was fantastic! I loved everything about this dish. The goat cheese bits sprinkles on top was the perfect touch. We also ordered the pumpkin pancakes (their seasonal special) and while it was delicious, it was a bit too heavy and too sweet for me. The caramel syrup and pecans went well with the pumpkin and cinnamon flavors. Lastly, I love that they have fresh squeezed orange juice! I loved the vibe, the service, and the food. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. read more

Half of our order was wrong or missing for takeout. A manager had to get involved in order to find the order that was actually in front of us the whole time.
