I finally stopped by Wild Days for the first time since the Covid pandemic, and I don't know what happened but the service seems to have diminished. We stopped by for happy hour and were seated immediately since we had a reservation, but also there didn't seem to be a wait. The inside is still similar and really nice looking, but the cocktail we had was so so bad, neither me nor my friend could take more than 3 sips of it - it was called panda panda and I'm not sure if it was just supposed to taste so awful. Then, we ordered the pibil chicken tacos, which was so dry and barely tasty. Unfortunately I don't know what was happening at the bar or kitchen, but it wasn't giving anything on that day. However, the ambiance was still really welcoming, and the staff was kind and helpful, I just wished that the refreshments were as pleasant.

I came to wild days on a Thursday night with some friends. The drinks were a little overpriced but we would definitely come back for happy hour. The outside patio is nice and has a fireplace and lots of seating. There was a DJ and good music. A good place for a date or just to hang out with friends.

It was my first time here and I enjoyed my visit. I had been dying to come here. I made reservations for the fire pit for s'more service. The rooftop was warm and cozy, the music was really nice and the service was great. I ordered drinks, food and s'mores. I thought everything was great, however I thought we could've had more s'mores. It was 6 of us and there was only enough for everyone to have one s'more and 2 of us for two. *tip: make sure you make reservations for the fire pit because they only have one

Phenomenal! Who knew so much coolness would be unleashed at the top of the Eaton Hotel? Apparently, he did! What an awesome surprise! The decor of this year round rooftop gem reminds me of a beautiful night in sexy Miami! We opted to sit indoors (they have amazing heat lamps outside along with areas to make s'mores!!) to take in the melodic sounds of a super cool and hip DJ who rocked out with head bopping lounge music mixes. I was so surprised to hear her mix up some old school rap in her beats! The music moved us so much, we got up and danced! The vibe and energy was amazing! We weren't too hungry, but wanted to try the "raved about" "These are tacos" tacos lol He had the duck and I had the kalbi. His were by far, much more flavorful than mine but mine were tasty. He enjoyed a glass of champagne while I remain dry during my alcohol detox. We will, however, return when I'm cocktail ready to enjoy "Feels Like Summer" while enjoying a s'more on the heated rooftop! Super cool and laid back spot! Dwayne, our server, was OUTSTANDING! He and the other servers were very attentive!

This place was so delightful. As a first time visitor I must say the DJ, ambiance, and drinks were on point. Haize the bartender made my cocktail to perfection. Customer service was excellent & I would definitely come here again. 10/10 experience for anyone trying to enjoy a lowkey rooftop experience. Great for a night out with friends or date night.

If you love viewing the city from a roof, this is s "must" for your to do list. The bar area is intimate and fun. There is also rooftop seating. If you are on the roof, you have to see the dinosaur. The bar area is pretty. The staff members are so nice. Metro is nearby. The hotel is at 12th & K Streets,NW.

First impression review! Wild Days is one of those spots that has alot of picturesque hype...except it's not hype. Beautiful interior and a rooftop that provides a green and natural vibe. I came in without a reservation on a Thursday with coworkers. While we were accommodated, the rooftop fills up quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. The star deduction is for the limited happy hour drink and food menu. While the offerings for happy hour are good, it would be nice to have a few additional options. My group ordered a mix of happy hour (rose, daily punch) and the regular cocktails. I didn't try any tacos but I heard from another member of the group that they were good. Bathroom situation are single-use stalls which is cool. Overall, very chill atmosphere. I plan to be back for sure for more.

Wild days is a great rooftop! It's on the rooftop of the Eaton Hotel. I contacted Maria Ortez a few weeks before my birthday to reserve a table on Monday , July 8. Justine was the server for the table ! She was amazing ! I had arrived well before my party and she helped me get situated and captured some really amazing photos. She allowed for the party to work out the check and was really down to earth. She has a great personality and exceed great customer service I also want to give props to Will the bartender who made great lemon drop shots! The rooftop view is amazing. It's great scenery for pictures and gatherings. What makes this place stand out is that also has a covered rooftop area with couches, tables, Great Wall Art, and has a Dj! I also like that it's a fancy place but doesn't have a "stuck up" vibe like many of the rooftops in dc. Happy hour ends at 6pm. It would be awesome if Wild Days considered a longer happy hour. I can't wait to come back !

Wild days has a lot of potential! The drinks are strong and creative and they had a live dj. However, it's a weird vibe because they don't really have a dance floor (at least when I was there). It's more of a standing and table-service bar, but the music is blasting at such a high volume that it's impossible to have a convo. Get rid of the tables and cocktail bar vibe if you're going to blast music. Also, it's annoying because if you're sitting at the table, you have to order with the waiter. But the waiter barely comes around so you're just left sitting with an empty drink.

Wild Days is a rooftop bar at the Eaton. Unsurprisingly, they have a gorgeous outdoor patio and the indoor area is likewise bright and airy. Happy hour is until 6, and reservations are available. I highly recommend coming during happy hour as the drinks are regularly priced at $16 but are $8 during HH. They also offer a small assortment of Mexican-inspired dishes. We shared the tortilla chips with trio of salsas. The avocado/salsa verde was definitely the favorite. Our waiter refilled our chips multiple times, but charged us each time. The drink menu is tight & creative. I got the coffee cocktail, which had vodka, espresso liqueur, and a biscotti simple syrup. If you like espresso martinis, you'll love this one. Service was spotty, with our waiter being attentive at times and totally absent at others. You'll just need to be proactive when you need another drink.

    Happy hour.

How can I reach someone there to confirm my reservation is for outside seating for this weekend? I've tried calling and emailing and can't get a response

I've had to contact Eatons front desk to be transferred to the rooftop. Weekends are always busy/booked for outside during the evening hours. They usually allow persons to sit outside until the reserved table party shows.

    Are kids allowed on rooftop?

Do all members of a table have to be 21 to sit on the rooftop?

I don't think so. My ID wasn't checked when I got to the host and I generally always get carded

What night has an urban black professional crowd?

On the second and third Saturdays of each month there is a very black professional crowd.

What kind of music does the DJ play?

They have different events but the one I went to had house music.

The drinks we tried were pretty tasty, even the mezcal one which I thought was a refreshing take. The wall shows some of the drinks on the menu and the ingredients/glass it comes in which I thought was a nice touch. Bartenders were friendly but not too chatty as they were super busy but you never waited long for a drink. The bourbon drink with the whipped honey was our favorite but the gin drink that was pink was also fantastic. For food I did try the buffalo chicken dip, pretty large and tasty (not too spicy) and loved the super crisp celery and the fritos. Clean, trendy bathrooms, nice vibes throughout the whole spot for pictures, great for a night cap or pre-dinner drink.

Our bartender was Gaylan and he was great--had great reccs, laughed with us a bit, all around great guy. The 'let me just say this' was so soo good! It tasted like a rainbow--just bright and with a really delicious after taste. I should have stopped at the rose but after my trying my friend's, i had to have one! We initially came for happy hour, but moved to the cocktail menu. The hh was a bit limited, but the drinks were priced overall pretty reasonably for the area. My one complaint is the wine glasses were so teeny. Overall though, I would recommend this bar. Bonus: cheese balls when you sit down! I believe there is also a limited food menu (think nachos) for the after work or late night crowd.

The drinks tasted watered down and unbalanced. The banana flavor in mine was dull and overripe rather than fresh and vibrant. The smoke and fire presentation was nice, but the actual cocktails did not justify the $25 price point. The restroom was unacceptable. There was urine on the floor, a strong foul odor, and the surface was slippery. For a speakeasy positioning itself as upscale, this was a major miss. The space is very small and service was just okay. Overall, the concept has potential, but the execution did not meet expectations. I will not be returning.

Next, the hostess led us to a table inside where the magic of candles, cozy tables, and intimate booths immediately meets your eyes. Did I mention that we sat in most comfy green velvet chairs in our cozy booth? How sexy! Service: our waiter, Jordan, was the best! He provided great service and recommendations. However, shoutout to the rest of the staff because it was truly all hands on deck. Drinks: the bartender is indeed a mixologist! There is no question of the magic he created in a glass. Her drink- I ordered the Attractive Nuisance, an elevated spritz. The drink was perfectly balanced with flavors to include G.H. Mumm Champagne, Avua Prata Cachaca, Cocchi Americano, Saffron, Vanilla. I literally tasted all the flavors in the drink and the liquor ratio was just right. Of course I went with another round, you simply have to try it understand why I did. His drink: El Tiburón-Let's just say that he said that this is now one of his favorite cocktails because it was smooth! Small bites: the kitchen was out of mussels and their famous donuts so we decided to try the Franks en Crute, the sexy adult version of pigs in a blanket lol. Such a delicious treat, well balanced flavors giving both sweet (flaky puff pastry) and savory (well grilled wagyu beef). Definitely recommend. The music was perfect for the evening! The bar was filled with all matured folks enjoying their group meets or dates, the atmosphere welcomed all. As I stated earlier, this has now become a regular on the list and I'm excited to visit again.
