    Fish N Chips

Located in the new(ish) Wild Ride taphouse on the east side of Prineville, Wild Catch is one of four food trucks in the brewery's lot. It's also their second truck, the other being at Wild Ride's Redmond brewery. - Fish & Chips: Billed as 'English Style,' they're not but Wild Catch's version is very good. Love the fish and the fries.

    Cooked to perfection!

YUM!!!! After reading the reviews we decided to stop by Friday night for some fish-n-chips while passing through. Made fresh and worth the wait with friendly service. This place is serving up fabulous fish-n-chips! The batter was incredibly thin and crunchy. The fish pieces were cooked to perfection...glistening white chunks of cod. The fries were fabulous as well. Big and crunchy, with a very tasty coating and creamy inside. Honestly some of the best fish-n-chips I've had since living in Oregon. Not to mention a very reasonable price compared to many other restaurants and trucks. Bravo...I'll definitely be back!

Got the fish and chips with extra tartar sauce. The fish did not disappoint! It was light and flavorful. Not too much batter on it. The wait was only 15 minutes and the fries were extra crispy! Definitely recommend!

Pretty solid experience. This food truck is located at Wild Ride Brewing. We ordered the korean wings and fish sliders. Both were pretty solid. The price is maybe a touch high on the wings, but they were pretty tasty as well. I would say for sure its worth a visit if you are at the brewery.

Excellent fish and chips. The breading was full of flavor and the fish was tender and fell apart. The fries were a great pub style fry.

Super excited to see a place with Cajun roots in town. Called to see if they were open and who was…read morethe culinary influence. Lackluster effort from the person answering. Stupefyingly he did not know what a Cajun was. After I repeated the question of who is influencing the food, he guessed it was his boss. Drove to Redmond and tried it anyway. Ordered the fried oysters and the peel and eat shrimp and crawfish. $30 Food came up quickly. Here's the review : I'll start with a good. Six decent size shrimp. Freshly boiled. Tender. Good spice. Next were the oyster niblets. 10 of them. Ok. Looked like they were prepared by Sysco in a factory in Wisconsin. Decent but not great. Dipping sauce was good. Saved the day. Six juvenile crawfish with no flavor were tough, dry and flavorless. Wife and I each had one and didn't.want any more. We pushed ourselves through another one, but I was offered the last one. I said you couldn't pay me to eat more. Rule of thumb if you work for somebody, you better get some cheerleading training and be excited about both answering the phone and telling people about your place, and your offerings. Rule two: people are not stupid just cause they're a long way away from where good food is prepared and served. At the very least you shouldn't plan on that as a business strategy. $15 should get you a pound and a half if not, 2 pounds of nice spicy hot crawfish with corn and potatoes. If we divide the price of the shrimp and crawfish and half, you should've at least gotten a fair 3/4 lb serving of delightful Mudbugs. And don't tell me you're too far from Louisiana to get fresh crawfish. I do it all the time. These are frozen Chinese crawfish. Recommendation: keep moving. -A Born & Bred Cajun

The sauces are all good, and the service is quick and friendly. The chef lady was kind to us and delivered the food promptly. General Duffy's location was peaceful and a nice outside vibe.
