The closest I've came is when they ran out of the only dog food one of my dogs can eat. This wasn't their fault as the truck was delayed due to the extreme winter storms. They offered to sell me the smaller more expensive bags at the same price per pound as I would have paid for my regular bag. Then they called me to let me know when the shipment arrived and set aside a bag for me. How nice is that?! The staff seem to be authentically interested in assisting customers, unlike many stores who have employees who seem annoyed when anyone shops there. Also, the selection of products is great. If you have pets and want the best for them AND you want to know that the staff is there to assist if you should need it, this is definitely the store for you.

I was impressed with the shop, fully stocked with absolutely everything anyone could use/need for their birds, including knowledgeable staff. Food includes: specialty, gourmet, pellet, seed. There's another area in the store for feeding+watering supplies/receptacles...Everything! Great variety of toys and different cage items to keep them busy, from being bored. You wouldn't think they could fit so much into a smaller place, but they do...Only it isn't cramped or crowded by any means. Anyway, because I just adore conures, happened to notice that there were 2 of the most precious little ones I'd seen, and needed them immediately. LOL. Sure, it was an impulse buy--Usually regretting impulse buys, but not this time! They'd just arrived at the shop not long before my visit, so there was an observation period the shop has, just to make sure the birds are healthy, to take care of birds' medical needs if present, and of course to make sure they aren't giving you an ill pet. About a week later, they came home with me. Owner provides histories and updates on the pets. Joe will keep you informed if there is any special need. One short adjustment period later, we trained and cared for "Charlie" and "Lady", and we now have FOUR conures---These are the two I picked up that day, super-healthy, super-happy little birbies! I mentioned this, and the store told me that this company offered a life time warranty and they could fix it for free. Great, I thought, as I have another one even older that is also broken so I brought it in. They repaired the first one, and told me that the second one was so old that the model had changed and they couldn't get the parts to fix it. So they gave me a brand new one, not under warranty - just gave it to me for free. I was stunned. This level of customer support is amazing. This is my go to store from now on for all things bird related. And by the way, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, happy to answer questions about different species of birds and the best way to attract them, etc.

This place is enraging and depressing. There are "designer" puppies for sale living in glass cages…read more Two puppies came up to me clearly starved for enrichment and attention. This is not a healthy environment for dogs to be in and it's inhumane. Dogs need constant socialization, enrichment, regular walks, and attention, and they can't get those things when they live in a cage. Places like this often get their dogs from puppy mills so please don't support them. I originally came to look at fish and noticed some of the fish were dead and some were eating the dead ones.

I'm honestly not sure why I keep giving this place another chance. There must be at least 150 dead…read morefish (some clearly there for a long time) amongst all the tanks. This most recent horrible experience there ended with 3 fish dying within 24 (I've probably lost at least half of the fish I've gotten from here total). I don't have this problem with fish from anywhere else! Upon closer inspection I was horrified by what I saw. These fish had nasty orange-ish parasites under their mouths that were squirming around. Luckily I only added them to a quarantine tank and was able to remove parasites from the fish that did survive. Anyways, that's another $15 flushed down the toilet. Well over $100 total tossed away. I'd rather support a small business but I'll just have to go to the big pet stores for my fish.
