I was shopping with a friend who is also Black, and we were not only followed around the store, but were repeatedly approached and monitored to the point where we couldn't walk down an aisle without being bothered. The store was fairly small, yet there were five employees who seemed to be watching us closely and remained near the counter with their eyes on us the entire time. The experience was extremely uncomfortable and made us feel singled out and unwelcome. I would not recommend this store to anyone looking for a comfortable and safe shopping environment. Customers should be able to shop without feeling watched, followed, or targeted.

Whether I needed 5/8" grade 8 bolts to mount a monster vise to my work bench or 8/32" filister head machine screws for a 1948 bench grinder, these guys pretty much have it all. The owners are super helpful, friendly and just all around great people. I'm looking forward to giving them more business, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for fasteners, especially over the big box and hardware chain stores.

And they really knew their stuff. They also understood that people don't wanna spend money on products that don't work so they only carried the best products, even if that meant different brands . However, they sold the business. Since then, everything's changed and not for the better. They have maybe a quarter of the chemicals that they used to have. If even that much. Brands I used to go only there for they no longer carry. Perfect example is I went in and I was looking around and the guy at the desk asked me if he could help me find something. And I told him I was just looking to see what chemicals they had. And he pointed to three areas and said there's the liquid chlorine there's the tabs and there's the shock. Seriously? Do you think chlorine is the only thing that goes in the pool to keep it balanced? So I asked them. What about algicide. Their reply oh, we sold the last bottle of that this morning. At this time of year in Phoenix, a pool supply store should always have algicide. So I asked him how many brands of algicide do you carry? The reply was one. I asked him about the gel for removing hard water stains at the tile line. He had no clue what I was talking about. Mike and Anne used to carry this really good gel. I think it was called scale be gone or something like that. It was thick so you could put it on with a scrubby and let it sit for a few minutes and then wash it off or use a scrubby and wash it off. (wearing gloves, of course.) They had only one creepy Crawley box and I think it was possibly the display box. Even their brushes, are substandard narrow instead of wide and not really suitable for pebble tech. They wouldn't last long. I hate having to go to Leslie's but it's only a mile and a half away and at least half the stuff they have is decent. I guess I'm going to have to look for another privately owned pool supply company. It's really a shame, but I don't think EverKlear is going to last very long at this rate. Especially being summer and them not having very many chemicals. They even changed the liquid chlorine brand to some brand I've never heard of before

For the…read morepast three years, we've been getting all of our chicken feed, pig feed and alfalfa #2 from Olsens here in town. We decided to try Bales because the prices of the alfalfa were lower, and I'm glad we did! The bales of alfalfa #2 that we were getting from Olsens are riddled with leaf shatter and my pigs were not as interested. I was able to find a better type of chicken feed for my heavy producers instead of having to supplement with oyster shell (less bags of feed in the garage & time saving is more convenient!) my pigs are enthralled with the alfalfa #2 thick flakes tightly packed that they love to root through and tear apart, it's so much better than Olsens that my chickens are even interested and love to dig and scratch through it. I use the leftover inedible part of the alfalfa as bedding so I get a double benefit! Not too much waste but what is will be used! We will be using this feed store for our farm babies from here on out!
